Had an awesome dinner with the husbo. Food was amazing, you can bring your own wine, atmosphere was great and service outstanding. Our lovely server on her second day did an amazing job.

Frango's when I hear that name I think of amazing chicken and one of the best Chilli sauces I have ever tasted I'm also reminded of when I worked in the city and my old boss and I tried to see who could handle more Chilli sauce on a burger but that's another story I no longer have to travel city way to get amazing food and service (and deserts) there's a Frango's right at my door step this store stays true to its values and qualities as the other stores I highly recommend coming here
Frangos is already notoriously known for its chicken and addcitive chilli mayo sauce. their takeaway menu is decently priced with hefty servings, one can't help but come back on a regular basis.
such a good spot for a feed ! This place is so cheap + you get so much for what you pay ! The chips are honestly the best I’ve ever had- think McDonald’s but 10x better ! Usually I’m not a chicken person but I had to make an exception for this place- amazing!

For my friends reading this review - they all know how much I love Frangos. I worked in Bella Vista for 2 years and Frangos basically became part of my food pyramid during that time.
For those of you who havent experienced the moist goodness of portugese chicken covered in spicy mayo - let me put it simply. Frangos is what Oporto's and Nandos shouldve been. They will forever be cast in the shadow of Frangos greatness. Just like the expectations set by a bar raising, over achieving sibbling - Nandos and Oporto are the younger children trying to follow suit but always being compared and overlooked by Frangos.
If you are looking for real Portugese chicken thats close to home and CHEAP look no further.
The Penrith outpost of the famous charcoal chicken franchise of Petersham seems to do great business.Service is attentive and the premises clean and inviting.
I ordered the half chicken and chips. The chicken was good, the vinegar taste of the marinade showing through. The skin was nice and crispy which I liked. It came with a ridiculous amount of shoe string fries, not doused with salt, again something that I liked. Their famous peri peri sauce and mayo is available on the table for you to dunk your chicken and fries in. I would have liked the sauce to pack a bit more heat. Overall, an enjoyable meal.
We haven't had Frango for years but decided to get it for lunch today. This was the first time at this location. Food was prepared quickly and with care. Staff calls out the number on your receipt and (in our case) ask what sauce we want on the burger and if we want salt on the chips. Was still hot once home (15 minutes away) and we actually have leftover chips for dinner now too. Delicious!
Delicious chicken, quick service, plenty of spaces to eat though they do get busy even on weekdays. Always a good experience when I eat here.
Love the food and service in this place. Good value for money - whether burgers, whole chicken or meals. The lamb rump is juicy, marbled with enough fat, it is so good. And if you love desserts, you NEED to try the flan. Great variety of salads as well. I have tried 3-4 varieties - all were good. My family also loves the fries. One of our regular go-to places....
One of the best Charcoal chicken places you can buy. The family meal is great value. I guarantee everyone will be satisfied. The chicken and chilli sauce is cooked to perfection. The tabouli is well balanced while the chips are crispy and generous in the family size. The staff are friendly and efficient and give recommendations when asked. As at 4 July 2020 there is no dine in option due to social distancing rules which is understandable. Regardless I highly recommend this place. 5 stars without a doubt!
First time trying Frango's and it was pretty good. Great value for money, serving size is huge. I got a chicken burger with chips for $13.
Staff were friendly and quick wait time.
