Attended Grilld - Shafto Lane in July of 2018. The Service at this place is absolutely outstanding! We were welcomed, seated and provided with excellent customer service. The food was great too. Had a Simply Grilld, Wagyu Beef burger, Sweet Potato fries and an Apple Cider. Could not have been more happy. Give this place a go if you are around the area. You won't be disappointed.
We couldn't have had a warmer welcome... having tried and failed to get served at another establishment, we arrived to a freshly cleaned table, kids activities and menus within about 1 minute even though a busy Saturday night. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was fast. Great happy vibes rubbed off on all the customers around us! Thank you!
We had a full lunch, so it was 9 PM by the time Joy and I felt hungry enough to have dinner. Instead, we did our laundry in the first half of the evening. There were only a few restos left open at the time, so we found ourselves back at Shafto Lane trying out Grill’d. Practically everything is organic. I got the “Baa Baa” Burger (AUD 14.5), which had grass-fed lamb patty, avocado, cheese, tomato, lettuce and “herbed mayo” between gluten-free buns. I also asked for a sunny-side-up free range egg for an additional 2 Dollars. The patty was really tender. I felt healthier already!
I ordered the Simply Grilld here, and it was delicious as always. I also got a regular fries with aioli. The chips here are felicious I have to say, the best I've had. The Simply Grilld was standard, except the cheese hadn't melted yet.
Fantastic service, average food.
Got the veggie vitality burger, a new burger and one of the most popular ones, according to a staff there. A pretty patty made up of beetroot, sweet potato, spinach and quinoa; this was not bad, a mild sweetness from the sweet potato and the gorgeous red hue from the beetroot. Felt that the pineapples were a weird addition and didn't go together that well; will opt it out next time and perhaps get it replaced with something else. Got this on the LowCarb Superbun (+$.1.50)- guys, please just get normal burger buns. Don't skimp on your carbs and in the process, compromise on the taste of your burger.
The LC bun tasted like a biscuit, stale almost. Will definitely get the regular wholemeal bun if I come here again in the future. Will also try out other options, as I've heard that the beef burgers are not bad.
I really like their burgers , Im not convinced that its the best of the best but its still up there for me. Love the fact that they do beer pairing with burgers too, somewhat intriguing.
Salads are fresh simple and tasty, on the pricey side but still filling enough not to complain. Im not huge on carbs so like the bun options they have.
Sweet patato fries not great , very oily and burnt but manageable.
Love their style , always be back 😎
Good value for a quick and easy meal. Service is friendly and quick. The nourish and flourish is one of the best burgers on the menu if you're wanting a decent portion of salad in it. It comes with grated carrot, pickles and avocado in addition to the standard greens. The burger is served with a low carb bun, skip this and choose another one. It falls apart. The gluten free one is better.
Great place to grab a bite if you're arround the cbd. Tasty burgers, reasonably priced and with a great service, all in a very pleasent atmosphere. A bit hot inside, but we might also have overdone it with the hot sauce! Delicious but quite spicy.
Overall a great experience.
Atmosphere is great with eating a burger and chips. Great atmosphere with the food and perhaps the best store I've been to. Can get very busy but the food quality is great still!
