I finally found a great food store that sells the most delicious tasty Asian food. We thoroughly enjoyed the paw paw salad , Laksa and the tastiest chicken satays, I have ever had. The staff are super friendly and always smiling. I highly recommend this place definitely a 10 out of 10
I started working in fremantle 6 months ago and gave this place a shot on a Laska recommendation. I know eat at My Bayon at least once a week. The Laksa is my favourite, 2nd favourite is the pad thai but I have pretty much tried the whole menu. The food tastes amazing and quality is great but even better is the service. Sometimes my order now is just "surprise me" because I know its going to be great. treat yourself people
Best restaurant. Great atmosphere, fantastic staff and the food.... Words don't do it justice. I loved it! I highly recommend the Crispy Tamarind Chicken and the Chicken satays. Do yourself a favour and check this place out, you won't regret it.
This place will not disappoint, we use to eat their delicious meal at the Freo market and tried their new restaurant in town - the service was really friendly and the food super tasty.

We just had a great meal here. We had the chicken satay, Amok chicken curry and beef fried rice and it was great. The serves were very generous and we shared this between two and we're full. Keep up the great work. We'll be back soon!

My Bayon replaced an old favourite of ours, so we were pretty sceptical to start with. I'm very happy to say that they have thoroughly won us over. Excellent food, tasteful decor, and lovely staff. I especially love that their delicious sauces and crispy fried shallots are all made fresh in-house :)

Everything was delicious! Very friendly staff and overall great dining experience. 5 spice pork was so tender and is also recommend the stuffed chicken wings. Can't wait to go back and try some more

We had a lovely dinner at my Bayon on a Saturday. Service was really good and the food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was so delicious with the perfect balance of saltiness and sweetness. We had kan Kong, pork leg, green curry chicken, papaya salad, fish paste, and fried chicken wings. The pork leg was my favourite dish, the meat was so tender and every bite was flavourful.

Such a great place with delicious food! This place was buzzing and busy! Love the decor inside too! We had the Barramundi Ah mok curry; Seafood Pad Thai noodles; Spicy papaya salad; Prawn tom yum soup; Stuffed chicken wings; and Garlic and pepper bites. Love the garlic and pepper bites and the spicy papaya salad. We also ordered the coconut drink to wash all this delicious food down. Very friendly staff and they work so hard to make everyone happy even though they are shirt staffed. Coming back for more and to try some of their other dishes too!
Came here specifically to try the laksa and did not leave disappointed. Ordered the seafood and the chicken laksa and was presented with a big hot bowl of some of the nicest, tastiest laksa I’ve had in Perth in a long while. Restaurant itself is casual but lovely, with red oriental parasols decorating the entire ceiling and various deep quotes painted on the walls. Food options on the menu looked very inviting and dishes that were coming out to other tables looked & smelled great. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes, but if you’re looking for a great laksa in Northbridge, this is it.
This little gem is cosy and perfect for a couple or big group dinner. AMBIENCE // Great cosy atmosphere with dim lighting and lots of space. Service was a touch slow given the influx of people for dinner time. FOOD // LAKSA - This was a delightful bowl full of flavour thay was intricate, delicious and light. AH MOK - This curry with Barramundi is a must try. It's a non-spicy yellow coconut curry which is steamed in banana leaf. The fish was cooked perfectly, and as you lift the lid get excited by the tantalising aromas of kaffir lime leaf and other spices. RECOMMEND // Laksa, Am Moh (Barramundi)

Nice little spot on William St. I had the Pad Thai and beef salad. Both excellent. Stuffed chicken wings was good too. Friendly service and efficient. Restaurant was a bit dark and needs some lighting tho

Only great things to say about this place! I always say you know if the food is going to be good judged on the chicken satay sticks and my god were they good. So good in fact we ordered them for entree and dessert! Our beef and duck mains were devine and the staff were so lovely and attentive. When in Perth don’t give this place a miss! Oh and they served the rice in coconuts which I loved!
Everything was sooo delicious. We ordered the Wednesday 2 course vegetarian deal with a drink. Had the fresh rice paper rolls which were the best I've ever had and also the tom yum soup. We also had the chicken wings which were yum! For mains we got green vege curry and lot cha noodles. Could not fault anything. So authentic and so much flavour. Definitely recommend!

My answer is "Doesn't matter, come inside and try it for yourself"
It's a bit Thai and a bit Vietnamese but it was different.
And I can tell you, dinner at My Bayon will certainly leaves you wanting more.
If you are confused after reading the menu, don't you worry, just ask the nice wait staff to explain it.
I even can't remember the name of the foods that I had that night but I can tell you they were amazing.
I had my 40th birthday dinner at My Bayon, and the lovely staff there coupled with their awesome food made for a wonderful night. As we were a large group we had a banquet style meal, the satay beef and chicken ah mok were highlights, great authentic food (generous portions) that took me back to Siem Reap. The service was fabulous, with warm and attentive staff. We'll be back.
Can't fault this lovely establishment. Tasty food with good portion sizes and great service. I loved the Lemongrass Chilli Chicken. Decor was on point 👌

Named after Bayon, a temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia with 200 smiling faces, My Bayon and head chef Vireak Vou aim to bring happiness 😇🙌 and introduce more people to traditional Khmer food.
We shared an entrée of deboned chicken wings 🍗 that were fried to crispy perfection, glazed with a salty sticky sauce and encased within was a juicy mixture of pork mince, vermicelli noodles, carrot and mushroom. The familiar South-east Asian flavours were comforting and we were instantly sold on the authenticity of the food.
The "chef-recommended" ah mok chicken curry 🐥🌴 was slow-cooked in banana leaf and carried a dominant fragrance of kaffir lime leaves throughout, accented by Thai basil and lemongrass. The curry was thick and creamy 😍, but not too rich that would make you feel sick after a few spoonfuls.
Our Thai-style red duck curry 🦆🍒 was equally impressive with an array of vegetables all simmered in a curry of coconut milk. The earthiness of eggplant and capsicum, sharpness of tomato, sweetness of lychee and tartness of pineapple all came together to celebrate the tender duck meat.
What we loved about both curries was the balance in saltiness and sweetness 👌, neither them overpowered the other and both worked in harmony to create perfection. We also really appreciated the freshness of house-made spices and curry pastes, the things that chef Vou prides himself on and what truly set My Bayon apart from similar restaurants. The talented man has an amazing palate and I can't wait to explore the whole menu!
Second time I'e been here... the food is incredibly flavour packed and delicious.
If you want something really special and out of the usual fare, this place is a must.
Spiced garlic chicken bites and Stuffed chicken wings are the best entrees. Kang kong; Ah mok with barramundi; Lort cha for the mains..... all super tasty.
They also do a traditional fermented fish paste dish that is crazy good.
Good service.
This would be the second time i have been to this restaurant in my 2 months in Perth....and it won't be the last.
I have not had a meal or dish here that I have not loved (and i have tried a few). The food food here always brings back memories of my time in Cambodia.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, had a wonderful night with friends and will be back.

Food isn’t cheap nor is it too expensive. Average price and expected for restaurants these days , for great, quality food.

Food was delicious! There wasn’t one dish we tried that we didn’t love. The peanut sauce that came with the Satay was amazing - best I’ve had. The barramundi was cooked to perfection with delicious lemongrass flavour. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is good. Love the cute umbrellas hanging from the roof. The only problem I had was the noise level. They need to put some hanging fabric on the walls or do something else to improve the acoustics. Highly recommend giving it a go!
My Bayon is a Cambodian restaurant located on William Street. You probably recognised the name from when they were at Fremantle Market. Vee and her family run My Bayon for a few years already. We went there when it first opened for a few weeks in early September. Vee was very friendly. She informed us that the name of the restaurant was inspired by the Khmer temple named Bayon in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It's a temple of many faces. Vee wanted to bring more awareness about Cambodia and its history to people of Perth. In the restaurant, you can find some books about Cambodia as well as mini decorations.
Been a while since I last dined at Northbridge. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting.
Didn't know anything about it till a friend organised a group dinner and all of us thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes.
Switched on staff, the chef even came out of the kitchen to say hello and asked for our feedback after dinner.
The dishes are fresh and tasty, reasonable portions with beautiful presentations.
We were too full to try their mango sticky rice so needless to say we are defo going back for more!
Awesome place in Northbridge! Really new. The food was awesome, flavorsome, rich and authentic. Its a great dinner and drinks joint. Best Asian I've had in a while.
