Review The Hummus Club - Perth

Jane Eamon
Had a really enjoyable evening at the Hummus Club. The service and the food was excellent. Lovely welcome with the King Toot brandy and some information about the restaurant and it's story. Food just kept arriving at the table each time staff explained what the dish contained. Not one bad dish. Finished with a couple of lovely desserts. Only regret for me they did not do Turkish coffee. Would highly recommended this for a lovely night out

Both the set menu and a la carte menu are delicious; the sticky beef ribs and hummus are particularly tasty but the chicken and batata potatoes were relatively similar and ordinary. The Spiced Muhallabia was peary good. The service was also very friendly and fast. Highly recommended if you like a tapas style of dining.

First time at this place from recommendations from friends. Out of all the dishes we got, only one was non vegan. I was amazed how vegan food can be so delish. Atmosphere was perfect and time flew so quickly. Staff was attentive and friendly and they showed split billing which was perfect. Will definitely go back again.

Loved every dishes that we ordered! From the chicken shawarma hummus, the BFC, the short ribs and the salad, all are delicious! Not to mention the cute drinks in can that is worth it than buying ones from the tap. It's worth queueing up on a Wednesday night!

Good vibe, good food, good service. Got seated in no time on a Friday night. Food was served fairly quick despite a busy night. Hummus and flat bread was fresh. Highlight would be the grilled octopus served with the smoky charred bread grilled to perfection. Give this place a try if you are in Perth! šŸ‘Œ

Simply amazing vegan-friendly Lebanese restaurant, everything is so full flavour! We had the olives, batatos, and mushroom hummus which was plenty for two to share. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good range of drinks to choose from. Pro-tip: be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table if you go for dinner on a Friday or Saturday. Worth the wait though. Most other times you can get a table on arrival. Enjoy!

Having failed to try here due to a long queue every time I visited, finally I made it through waiting before the opening hour. Think it was worth it. I did enjoy the food and the Lebanese drinks. I've never tried any Lebanese stuff and it turned out to be my thing!šŸ‘šŸ‘ Considering the portion, was not inexpensive though, I'd love to revisit and have a different dish later. Cheers :)

The hummus is sooooo good and one serve is big enough to share between a few people. Itā€™s perfectly smooth and has the perfect consistency. The garlic salt on the potatoes is also amazing! Friendly service who also made great suggestions for cocktail options - they were amazing!

Used to love this place but wonā€™t be returning. Had no choice but to order set menu, was not told what was on that set menu and unable to find this info online, consequently some of the dishes were not food I eat so felt disappointed about this. We were told to arrive at 7:30, there was a line of customers who were waiting outside and we were all confused about what was happening and if we could go in, no communication from staff at all. If we had not have pre paid for the meal at this point we would have left. Slow service with drinks.

This used to be a good 3.5/ 4* restaurant.

However now not so much.

The only choice is a set menu consisting of:

- Hummus and mushroom
- Hummus and chicken
- chilled raw green beans
- ?
- ?
- beef cheek in a sickly sweet sauce
- ?

The first two ? Dishes are because although it's a fixed price set menu, only parties of 3+ get those dishes.

The first two dishes where pretty good, the rest was quite poor, and the pickled cabbage served with most dishes was over the top.

I was so disappointed I didn't wait around for the desert.

What used to be a restaurant that I would go to, is now one I'll never go back to.

A group of 4 of us went at 6:30 and we were told it would take 15 minutes to ā€˜set the tableā€™. We waited 20minutes and were told it would take another 10 minutes to ā€˜set the tableā€™. The food was delicious but took a little while to come out. We still would have waited the half an hour for a table but should have been told the truth that currently there was no table available not that they needed 30 minutes to ā€˜setā€™ one.

Food was fabulous, but I felt some of the dishes were too generous, and we couldnā€™t finish them. Would have been great to have slightly smaller portions and a touch cheaper.
Great wine list, stingy pours. Welcoming staff, but uncomfortable chairs.

If you're even a vague fan of middle eastern food, you're going to probably really like (if not love) the Hummus club. Do your tastebuds a favour and be sure to order the chicken or beef Signature Hummus, and the batata (delicious & my favourite). Fried cauliflower is good and the Loubieh green beans are exceptional. The ā€œfriedā€ whiting dish was a bit of a let down (whiting tasted broiled more than anything and were cold), the chefā€™s plate on this particular day was mixed mushrooms with chickpeas and fried bread - very good. Sahara sour mocktail is refreshing if youā€™re not feeling like anything alcoholic. Whilst service was efficient and friendly overall, my only gripe is that we were made to feel a bit uncomfortable with the waitress asking several times if we wanted to order ā€˜anything elseā€™ after we had clearly said ā€˜Noā€™ & started clearing our dishes whilst were still finishing our food (we got the final hint to leave when she brought out the bill without us asking - at 2:15pm on a Saturday afternoon, we found this very strange but they apparently close at 2:30pm - typical Perth). This aside, the food is very good and Hummus club is well worth a visit.
Some Like It Hot
Popular venue with tables available on a walk in basis unless booking for six or more. The menu is designed to share. Only sampled a small number of dishes. Had the hummus with chicken which came with a large amount of bread. This was nice enough. Also had the grilled whitebait which came with a spiced tomato based sauce with chickpeas. The bread that came with it was nice. I liked the sauce but wasnā€™t sold on how the whitebait was cooked. The baklava desserts is very good. People were queuing out the door on our way out on a Wednesday night. The venue itself is nice and the staff are friendly. Will return to give it another try and choose some different dishes.

Nice variety of sharing food, all delicious. We decided to go vegetarian with our food choices, and it was a sure delight! The beetroot was our favourite of the dishes we got. Friendly and prompt service. Seating was just a little uncomfortable.

Fried mushrooms and hummus is delicious!
Food is great but service could be more intuitive. Found this the 3 times Iā€™ve been but hey... they are still packing in the crowds

Been here several times & each time has been amazing. My favourite restaurant in Perth. Last time I had the chefs special eggplant Hommus which was sooooooo good. I would recommend the spiced chicken, beef ribs, the hommus, the batatas.

Second time I have tried this establishment, there are notably a few differences, namely the restaurant is now licenced. Unfortunately as many do they have followed the path of Ned Kelly when it comes to pricing, pure undiluted greed. Secondly the food has really deteriorated in quality and taste. I ordered the Beef Hummus, it arrived cold,so it was sent back for a second attempt. it didn't improve. Basically overcooked 3 Start Mince on top of a sloopy tasteless hummus. Very very disappointing, an affront to Middle Eastern cuisine, nevertheless it will please the vegans.

Postscript, I took my uneaten Beef Hummus as takeaway with the esoteric plan to give it to a homeless person, I did find two local indigenous brothers near the train station who looked hungry but they knocked it back. Even though I tried to talk it up a bit....never mind I did try as wasting food is a sin.
Chips Before Dips
YUM!
Iā€™ve been working, and eating out in Perth for nearly three weeks, and this was the best meal Iā€™ve had by far.
We opted out of the tasting menu, in lieu of choosing our own selections. All were fantastic. For me, the fried chicken was the stand out.
We both felt it was decent value for money too.
Definitely worth a visit.

My tinder date and I had the chefā€™s set menu and I have no regrets (about the food). A side of succulent octopus went down a treat with its spicy sauce, and turkish bread was on hand to mop up any leftovers. A watermelon, pepita and currant salad was a wonderfully refreshing support act for the next wave of dishes: a beautifully slow-cooked lamb tagine, a pyramid of salty crunchy potato gems, and a deep bowl of hummus and aromatic mince. The set menu also came with a complimentary drink, but tragically cocktails werenā€™t included. I settled for a pomegranate lemonade and my companion had a ginger beer.Ā

Service was quick and attentive and the waitress looking after our table was delightfully warm and genuine. The only slight disappointment of the night was our dessert: a pretty but uninspiring chocolate brownie topped with salty caramel icecream and fairy floss.

Overall the Hummus Club was an almost perfect dining experience and I will definitely be recommending it to all my friends.

Yesterday was my first visit at The hummus club in Northbridge and definitely not the last. We were a group of 4 and all my friends have been there before which was great as they knew the dishes well.

We ordered Batata, Mushroom & Chicken hummus, Watermelon Fattoush, Lamb Kefta, Fried Cauliflower and had Chocolate Halwa Brownie and Tayta's Doughnuts for dessert.

We shared it all and all of it was absolutely fantastic! Full of flavour, really was a great experience. We all drank pomegranate lemonade which was a beautiful drink as well.

Cost was about 43/person for it all.

If you like to try different things and like to share I would highly recommend you visit this place.
Take two pretty fussy chefs and their wives, and try and find a place thatā€™s going to keep us all happy - it can be an admittedly first world challenge, but a real one, nonetheless. Thanks to another great recommendation by ā€œThe Chefā€™s wife and their Perth-fect lifeā€ blogger, I opted to try out this place for the first time for all of us. Thankfully, it ticked almost all the boxes, and we were very happy with the variety of food, robust flavours, and mostly friendly service. We decided to go with a set menu that offered tastes of many of the favourites and was supposed to also include a lamb tagine, or something that was created specially that night. It didnā€™t show up, and possibly we received an extra dish of Batatas potatoes, which were still very good... We were also supposed to receive a free beverage with the menu selection, but I didnā€™t pick up that we were charged for all our drinks on the tab at the end of the night. While we had the most delightful young lady seat us and explain the menu, plus make some valid recommendations, the other server of food was lacking any warmth and personality, almost dropping the plates and running off, with hardly a smile or a word - an unusual contrast to say the least. Apart from these mishaps, the food was mostly terrific (the dessert with the floss was a little weird and off the mark), and hopefully when we visit again, these few inconsistencies will be ironed out... 4/5.

I keep coming back to this venue because their food is so damn delicious. I've nearly tried everything on the menu now. Its amazing that every dish is so creative and delicious with perfectly balanced flavours - I've never had something I don't like here. $50 per person including one drink is what I normally spend here, which leaves you sated but not stuffed. It is well worth the money and I highly recommend this restaurant although their service can be a bit slow and you usually have to flag down wait staff to order.
Emily
Really tasty hommus - we had the hommus topped with beef which was delicious. I wasnā€™t too keen with the flatbread type bread that came with as I found it a bit hard and dry, i would have preferred a softer type sliced/toasted bread but Iā€™m sure theyā€™d have that if you asked for it. Every dish we had was really tasty though and we will definitely be back!
Rose Skepis
Poorly Trained Wait Staff.

We ordered the Lamb Shoulder but instead they brought out the Lamb Kefta.

Lamb Kefta was flavourful, but it was obviously preprepared as it was stone cold in the middle but it had grill marks on the outside.
Liam Tay Kearney
Has been on the radar for some time and only recently got to try it. Hummus is smooth, rich and flavourful paired with fluffy bread. The octopus dish was another standout (super tender). Love the sharing concept and atmosphere.
Elizabeth Last
Careful not to order too much! The hummus and bread is deceptive and we always end up so full, so we have to hold ourselves back! Definitely recommend the beef hummus, zataar fried chicken, lamb kefta, batata.. the list is endless. Recommendation is 3-4 dishes between 2 hungry people, and be aware youā€™ll be partially using your hands to tear up the flat bread and serve yourself some hummus. The staff are always ready to help you with how the menu works in case itā€™s your first time, which is great to see.
James Green
A little disappointing.Ā

The staff were friendly and the food was great but it was hard to enjoy one dish with another. The dishes came out individually and there was a massive wait for each one so it was hard to enjoy them. Not sure why we got our olives last. Also very difficult to get a drink top up. I think they were just really busy so I'm going to say this one can be hit and miss at times. I'll definitely give them a second chance though.

This place has great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service for a busy restaurant, and a great location! We really enjoyed the food here and I would recommend others to visit this little gem of a place šŸ‘ŒšŸ½

Has something dramatically changed? I know this place for it delicious cocktails, and yet this site says alcohol not available??????
Well, Iā€™ll return anyway as the food is delish
Renato
After much anticipation I finally got to try THC and was not disappointed. The flavours of every dish were excellent and the presentation and service matched. My only gripe is the large dishes are not large, so a little underwhelming on arrival. Will be back though!
Shadykiller_9
I honestly do not get the hype about this place. I think the hummus is just above average. The falafel is way too dry, and the price way too high as well. Although I have to say the hummus with mushrooms is a good combo.
Bottomlesspit
I finally made it hear after over a year of wanting to! There was a wait, so this place is still busy which is a good sign. We came on a Saturday night for dinner and of course the atmosphere was pumping. Great way to start the night!

The staff are quite attentive and friendly although they are in the move because it is so busy. We tried quite a bit from the menu. The mushroom hummus was delicious, though I wish it came with a bit more pita. The Zaā€™atar chicken and potatoes were also a stand out for me flavour wise.

Well priced for the amount of food we got. All in all a nice experience.
Š›ŠøŠ½ŃŠø
Finally got around to coming here and was not disappointed! Everything we tried was delicious and reasonably priced. Highlights were the beef hummus, falafel salad and cauliflower. The service was very friendly and efficient ā˜ŗļø 100% recommend and will be back very soon!

After going past this place so many times in Northbridge, I finally had the time to check it out in the weekend. I came with my mum here for lunch. Upon entering this place, it's got a excellent set up and beautifully decorated walls. It was already filled with people which tells me it's quite popular.

As we sat down, we looked at their menu. Very clean and elegant looking menu design divided nicely into three section. A short menu which I like so we could quickly decide what we wanted to eat. Also their drinks menu was nicely divided into three sections as well, again simple and short. So we went for the hummus with mushroom topping, roasted cauliflower and for dessert we got tayta's doughnuts.

Everything we ordered tasted absolutely divine. I could not fault anything. Mushrooms with Hummus was very good. Hummus tasted so fresh and the fried mushrooms complimented so well with it. Also the pita bread which comes with it tasted good with the hummus as well, its a combination which always works. Then came the roasted cauliflower which again was very good. Yah it's a bit sweet since it's mixed with the date jam but I liked it. Also the cauliflower was perfectly cooked and charred which I was really impressed with. Finally the doughnuts, again melted in my mouth. I ate with the freshly cut oranges along with the choc sauce and the combination of those three was heaven in my mouth.

I had a great experience at this place for lunch. Lovely and attentive staff. Also I liked the bottles the water comes in, really cool. It looks like a beer bottle, haha. But after finishing my lunch, you how you have that stuffed feeling in your stomach when it's full? Me and my mum did not feel that at all. I guess it was good clean food and the right quantity in all three dishes. I paid $52 in total which I think is very good for three dishes and worth the money.

So I'll definitely be back here again next time to try the lamb kefta and the choc halva brownie. Until then, in hummus we trust! šŸ’›

Was recommended to visit this place by a few people however was extremely disappointed.
Served hot glasses which had just come out of the dishwasher and was compensated with a glass of ice.
Also very extremely money motivated, the amount you spend, is the level of service youā€™ll receive.
Updated May 2018
If you eat hummus till your stomach bursts, is that hummusidal?

Hummus at The Hummus Club is so distinctively smooth, creamy, nutty and garlicky that you can just eat it straight with a spoon šŸ˜. But go ahead and add some toppings and trust that whichever you may choose, it's a good one. Beef hummus šŸ® is my absolute favourite! I love it so much I'm gonna name my kid Thomas, with a silent T šŸ˜Ž. The bed of hummus is covered by an uber generous mountain of beef mince and the amount of flavour packed into those speckles of meat is phenomenal šŸ’„. The mince is moreish, juicy and gives a lovely chunky texture in your mouth. Jewels of pomegranate seeds are much needed for such a rich dish and the pita crisps aren't just there for funsies, they mean serious crunch business.

Chicken shawarma šŸ„ made a temporary comeback last month and it should be on the menu permanently! The slow-roasted chicken covered in a heap of Middle Eastern spices was tender and moist šŸ¤¤, with hints of lemon, cumin, turmeric, garlic, ground coriander, pepper and paprika dancing on your palate, along with sweet caramelised onions and crispy chicken skin. Chef Habib Phil Watkins is my new hero!

If you haven't been to The Hummus Club, do yourself a favour and just go there. Words cannot express hummus I love this place! And if you've come here without having a piece of Baklawa Icecream Sandwich šŸ¦šŸž, have you even been there at all?

If the idea of tantalising banana and walnut icecream wedged in between two layers of buttery crispy filo pastry can't seduce you, what kind of monster are you šŸ‘¹? I loveee the creaminess and nuttiness that the macadamia adds šŸŒ°, it makes a world of difference compared to the previous pistachio topping. Just when you think this can't get any better, try a spoon of everything with that rich caramel sauce šŸ„ž. Chef Habib recently revised the caramel recipe and it is more potent than ever! Like love is cool but has your soul ever been touched by a really good caramel sauce?

Who cares if the Turks and the Greeks are still fighting over the origin of baklava, The Hummus Club is where it's at! You walnut regret this!

Besides smashing hummus and bomb baklava, The Hummus Club also does the most creative cocktails šŸ¹ with plenty of Middle Eastern twists!

Turkish Delight is a play on the popular Turkish dessert šŸ’. It contains house-made pavlova vodka, orgeat syrup, rosewater syrup, soda water and orange juice for a touch of citrus. O M G I'm obsessed with the rosy pink colour, and it tastes even girlier šŸ’…! The dessert may not be everyone's cup of tea but this cocktail will be. It even comes with a piece of Turkish delight on top, for the delight-hard fans!

Let's not forget the vibrant Day in Beirut šŸ’˜. This takes the ordinary ginger beer to the next level with @OldYoungsDistillery 1827 gin, almond and orange blossom šŸµ. The sharp gingery taste is the perfect canvas for floral orange blossom and citrusey gin to do their things.

The Hummus Club, the triple threat! We're so lucky to have you in Perth.
__________
The Hummus Club has been serving up amazing hummus for a few years now but did you know that their recent addition of baklava icecream sandwich šŸ¦šŸž is also pretty bangin?

Have a soft spot for baklava? Then you'll friggin adore this mouth-watering version of perfectly buttery flakey filo pastry topped with crushed pistachios, drizzled with fragrant caramel sauce and wedged in by the most incredibly smooth brown butter and date vanilla icecream šŸ¤¤. This is definitely up there in my top 10 desserts of all time and I eat a lottttt of desserts!
Onebiteatatime
We ordered the mushroom hummus, falafel salad and cauliflower. Quite expensive for the portion sizes and price of the ingredients used.
Hummus and falafels were perfect, the cauliflower on the other hand did not live up to my expectation.
It was an enjoyable meal overall. But not good enough to dine in regularly, with the price of food taken into consideration-especially for vegan menu items.
Waitstaff was lovely.
Lily Rose
Been here multiple times and never disappointed. Favourites are the mushroom hummus, lamb kefta, batata and cauliflower. Only thing to improve would be the seating system as often tables are left uncleared for a long time whilst people are waiting for seats outside.
Foodlover
YUM !!Ā The food here is full of flavour and absolutely delicious.Ā This was our 2nd visit and it certainly lived up to my memories from our previous visit.Ā Ā This time we enjoyed the mushroom hummus, freekeh hummus and the lamb kefta.Ā All the food is fresh & amazing. The service was great and yes we will keep coming back.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Perth, itā€™s mind blowing good!
Strongly recommended
- mushroom hummus
- baklava ice cream sandwich
- batata
Be prepared to wait. Brought my folks here on a Wednesday night, only to wait 20 mins for a table I'd booked 2 weeks in advance.Ā Staff were unapologetic and had an attitude of "if you want to eat here, then wait". Ended up going to the pizza shop next door and it was DELICIOUS!
Rachael
Apart from long wait times on a Friday night, the Hummus club has delicious dishes to share. Between 2 people we ordered 4 plates, probably too much but we couldnā€™t fault any.
Beef hummus > mushroom hummus, but both were just as good.
For future visits; Iā€™ll definitely be ordering the beef hummus and potatoes again.
PerthFoodBlog
There were plenty of garlicky hummusy stuff, with a healthy complement of well-textured breads and delicious cooked meats. The desserts were a real highlight. Ā the shaved ice / turkish delight with smokey bacon fruit (yeah, that's what my notes say, I have nfi what it was) is perhaps the best dessert I've had all year.
Daniel Sims
Four of us came here for dinner on Friday. We arrived at 5:30 and by the time we left at 7:30 the place was heaving with a queue for walk-ins forming outside. Given how busy it was, one thing stood out very clearly - the service was consistently amazing! Even when we called a waiter or waitress over who was very obviously walking back from taking a large table order, they were happy and stopped to accommodate and take our order to with a smile.

The drinks menu was A+. The middle-eastern inspired cocktails really hit the mark. Perfect for a balmy night. The Arak was really something.

Food wise? Vegan or carnivore, you are sorted. Heck, this place makes it easy to give up meat. We tried nearly everything on the menu and I rate it all.

Desserts? We tried all four desserts and the four of us each had a different favourite. So there's something for everyone.

We'll be frequenting this place for sure.

Great evening with great food. Baklava šŸ¦ Sandwich to die for!! As you'd expect the Hummus was fantastic and the Mezzi the perfect size with good variety on offer!!
Lady X
The mushroom hummus was delicious although it will be great if they served more bread with it (or allowed people to ask for more without charge - after all itā€™s just bread). Fried chicken was really crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside but the side was slightly tough. Not quite used to this style of fried chicken honestly. Quite pricey for the portions but a nice environment to hang out
Rachel Tay
Great place to catch up with friends! We got the mushroom hummus which was to die for, which came with a massive piece pita bread šŸ‘Œ I usually default to meaty toppings but so glad we went with th Mushrooms. Also ordered th lamb kaftas and fried chicken which were both quite yummy.
PP
Saaah good! Mushroom hummus is great, serving sizes are just right and there are lots of veggie options. I just wish they were open for lunch in the week!
Dan W
Tried the beef hummus, potatoes and lamb kefta. The lamb was a highlight, the pomegranate sauce it was served with was delicious. It was tender and tasty. The potatoes were well executed, plenty of crunch and well seasoned. The beef hummus bowl was good, but nothing spectacular. The textures in the bowl were nice I think I was just let down that it tasted slightly underseasoned to me.

A nice venue although you I would recommend booking of getting there early. Service was really helpful and friendly.
Lulu's Opinion
Iā€™ve been to the Hummus Club a few times now and I have to say itā€™s one of my favourite places to go. The serving sizes are just right, the food tastes amazing and the staff are always so lovely and a pleasure to deal with. The only thing I hate doing is waiting for a table, but I guess thatā€™s what happens when a place is so popular! Great work, great food!
Ellie Morrison
Pity about the service because the food was actually really good! We booked a table for 7ppl at 8pm as the only other option was 6pm. Great start to the meal but as soon as we got our food we were completely forgotten about. Didn't get offered more drinks or desert. They seemed pretty keen to get rid of us at 9.30pm as they started noisily polishing cutlery right next to our table which made our conversation pretty tough. As I said everything we ordered was really yum but unfortunately the evening was let down by the poor service.
Sarah
Went here on a Friday around 6pm so we could get a seat as there was hour of us. We ordered the chicken hummus, mushroom hummus, lamb kefta roast cauliflower, whole fish and a side of cucumbers. More than enough food for the four of us. Waitress was very friendly and took our order quickly. Food also arrived very quickly and we didn't have to wait long. All food was delicious however mushroom hummus was extremely salty so would not recommend it. My fave was the roast cauliflower and lamb kefta. Both were very moist and delicious. We had a few wines between us also. Generous servings of food. Slightly on the expensive side but would Def recommend.
Caroline Swan
Loved this place! Smooth creamy well balanced hummus. delicious falafael and plenty of choice for carnivores as well as vegetarians. Oh, and the gin is good too! Keep it up guys.
Trish__k
Enjoyed lunch at the hummus Club with a group of 7 and the food did not disappoint. We had the Hummus with Freekeh which was devine, the Batata (Potato chips), Felafel Salad and the house salad. All delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful with choices. Great Ambience. Will definitely be back.
Kate
Order the mushroom hummus! That's my piece of advice. I've eaten here a few times and always had a good experience. Some dishes are better than others (the mushroom hummus, seriously!) but it's got a lovely vibe, good service and is reasonably priced.
Fooodmachine
This place was busy on a Wed night. Table service isn't the most attentive, our empty glass jug never got refilled. Food came out very quickly - we had the mushroom hummus, the chicken hummus and the lamb kefta, all were delicious albeit overpriced for what it was.
LS
The Hummus Club never disappoints! The mushroom hummus was some of the most delicious hummus I have ever had, the batata (potatoes with garlic toum) are addictively good, I'm still thinking about them! The falafels were great, and the roasted cauliflower was such a generous serving and the sauces and toppings on it were mouth watering. Ā The service was prompt and the waitress were very attentive and friendly. Ā Will be back again soon!
Chelsea
Lovely friendly waitstaff, with great service. Sat outside on a cold winters night, under the heaters with blankets they provided. Was very cosy. Shared a few plates amongst friends. Very tasty. Had the mushroom hummus, bavaras, cauliflower and falafel. So much food!! Especially for 3 people. All very tasty. A good experience. Although it was good i wouldn't rush back. Very cool vibe.
Mo Loves Chilli
Excellent service!!
Lovely food, I really enjoyed sharing the bowls with my friends.
Family style set up.
The only downside would be the need for more bread and maybe some different style of crackers to dip with.
Fav dishes are the beef homus, lamb keftas & chicken.
Mr Robot
The Hummus Club is one of those restaurants that just has a great vibe to it upon entry. The interior seating was packed and was on full volume, so we got shown a table outside, which was a little chilly. However that soon warmed up once our food arrived. Wasn't entirely sure how to properly handle the hummus and bread, but we ended up using our hands in the end. Definitely would like to revisit in the future!
Yonatan Sehayek
We had humus with mushrooms, falafel and lamb koftas. The humus itself was not that tasty but the mushrooms on top were good. The falafel balls were cold and and stodgey. The lamb koftas were delicious but were not heated properly and were quite cold on the inside.
Deep
First time to Hummus club and loved the flavours, ambience and service , ordered chicken Hummus and Lamb Kufta. One can taste flavours in each bitešŸ˜‹definitely recommending to my friends.
Will be back soon guysšŸ‘šŸ½thank you
Ken Wacky
Great place and decor for food! The place is not extremely large, but due the the popularity, you do have to wait a while to get a seat during busy times which is the only downside. The hummus is to die for, and love the lamb kefta! Thumbs up!
Threesquaremeals
Really enjoyed the food and ambiance at the Hummus Club. The mushroom hummus may be the best hummus I've ever had šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ‘Œ Would definitely recommend ordering it along with the lamb and the potatoes (not pictured).
Think the food at the Hummus Club is a bit pricey for what it is, but would recommend it as a good option if you're looking to go somewhere with your gluten / dairy free, vegetarian and vegan friends as the menu caters for everyone easily.
Noblefoodie
Finally went to the amazing hummus club. Loved my hummus mushroom and my friend had the chicken.
Decent sized serve of everything. So delicious , so filling.staff were so helpful explaining the menu.easy to get a table for 2, when we walked in at around 6pm. Awesome location.l would recommend anyone to go try it out.
The Coffee Devotee
Quite possibly the most appealing Middle Eastern eatery in Perth. The food is bursting with flavour, staff are friendly and the eatery itself looks attractive. Quality food, reasonably priced and well located. I'm only sad that I went at night because I couldn't take any pictures. Will be back.
Finleyhimawan
I never thought I'd be so addicted to hummus! I enjoyed the vibe, ambience, service and food. The ambience is so chill and you can sit outside or inside. But for a good afternoon, we decided to sit outside and it was just beautiful. The service was excellent, we were served and explained the menu right away. We then ordered the mushroom hummus and one mezza which is the fried chicken. The fried chicken is tasty and crunchy, the pickle was perfect accompaniment to the chicken. The bread that was given with the hummus is fine although we thought the Turkish bread would be a better one to serve with the hummus. But our highlight was really the hummus! The mushroom hummus was light yet creamy and tasty. It is truly one of the best hummus I've tried so far and although it was quite substantial, we could not stop eating it! It was so nice that we would definitely come back very soon for their other hummus menu. No wonder they name themselves the hummus club! Well done!

Char-lotte! Char-lotte! Char-lotte! Char-lotte!
Awesome food and drink. Moved us inside when there was a free spot because it was cold. Super helpful staff.

Thanks so much Charlotte.

Came here for a late lunch with a friend. Staff were attentive and brought the menu and drinks. We went with the waitressā€™s recommendation of hummus with pan fried mushrooms, crisp potatoes with garlic toun, and lamb kefta with labneh and pomegranate glaze. We both had a glass of the Shiraz from WA which was a nice lunch wine. We loved all the dishes and the lamb was cooked perfectly with a nicely balanced sweet and acidic sauce. The hummus was smooth and the mushrooms gave it a great earthy flavour. We decided to try some desert and went with the rose water granite with watermelon and strawberries and the doughnuts. Both desserts were good and of course full of sugar; the granite could have been a little less sugary. Overall a wonderful lunch, in a visually exciting space, with friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will be back.

Couldn't fault this place at all. An Exceptional meal with great service (Heather).Ā

Exquisite middle eastern cuisine packed full of flavor.

We went early on sunday night (around 5.30pm), seated straight away. Ordered batatas, lamb kefta, mushroom hummus, fried chicken, salad. Everything was so good especially the garlic sauce with the batatas and mushroom hummus. Service was good too. Will definitely be back again to try the beef hummus and fish.
NG
Impressive place, great service! Far above WA standards. This place will go far if it continues with this quality of service and food! btw. It would be really good to see some nice Europeanā€‹ beers on your menu.
Foodie Fella
Came to the Hummus Club on a Sunday night after numerous recommendations from friends, and it didn't disappoint. The beef was a standout, and lamb and fried chicken were also very tasty. Will come back to tried everything we missed!
Julia
Fantastic food at the Hummus club! And great drinks! The fish was outstanding. Friendly staff and good service on a very busy Thursday evening.

I celebrated my birthday at The Hummus Club with 12 of my friends for lunch recently. At such an obviously busy time for them, the staff and the owners (who were always on hand) excelled in all aspects - service, friendliness, professionalism & anticipating our every need. When our lunch arrived (the shared Hummus Feast), every member of our group was blown away by the amazing food that kept getting piled onto our table. No-one went hungry! No-one left unsatisfied! And everyone made plans to return. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm & welcoming. Thank you to Ziad & Caitlin for sharing your beautiful food with us. Highly recommended to all (and don't forget to notice the original floor boards when you visit).

Met a friend here for lunch today. Arrived at 12pm and the place is already buzzing. First time here and the waitress explained the menus and took our orders promptly. We ordered hummus with pan fried mushrooms garlic onions and herbs; batata (crisp potatoes with spiced salt, and garlic toum); falafels with tahini pickles and coriander; zaatar fried chicken with pickles and garlic toum; lamb kefta with labneh and pomegranate glaze; and the mezza of the month which was roasted cauliflower with pine nuts, sultanas and parsley sauce. Didn't have anything to fault about everything we ordered. Definitely coming back again!
Carolyn Nash
Lamb kofta and the hummus was delicious. Reasonably priced. Service very fast and waiters were very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend.
Mic_lennon
Could not fault the food. The mushroom hummus, cabbich salad, roast cauliflower and battata were all so incredibly delicious. Would definitely recommend The Hummus Club.
Williespants
Simple yet filling - the hummus plates were so filling and tasty - we had the mushroom one and didn't disappoint. Also ordered the Batata - crispy potatoes with garlic toum - seriously crispy and so fragrant. Finally we had the falafels - this would probably be better when shared with more people because it did get a little dry after a couple. Great venue and location for drinks, chill, bites and catching up with friends. Recommend making a booking for Fridays as it gets busy.
Jackie
We had a great dinner between four of us here last week on a Sunday night. Service was attentive and we ordered a number of dishes off the minimal menu. The highlights for us were the potatoes (amazing), mushroom hummus and beef kofta. The cauliflower dish looked good and we would get that next time. We were also really impressed with the dessert brownie. I couldn't believe it was $40 a person. Very good.l value for money. Get there before 7 to get a table without a line!

Came here for the second time to celebrate a friend's birthday and she was pretty pleased. Batatas are my favourite here and they use good quality ingredients, but the hummus is a little pricey. Otherwise service is okay, and the other downside is that you can't get all your dishes at once, they bring the items out one by one, so you can't have a different bite of everything and enjoy every item together. Below is a photo of the birthday girl with her mushroom hummus!
Matchalover
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hummus was good with the pita. My favourite dish was the crispy potatoes! The seasoning on them was delicious! However, the falafel was very dry which was disappointing.
Overall good atmosphere and good service.
Michelle Yvonne
Gorgeous, unpretentious food. I loved the mushroom hummus & the whole baked fish, although the fried chicken was a little average. Service was nothing special and being unable to book is inconvenient, but it's a lovely place for a casual meal and I'll be dreaming of that mushroom hummus!
Brooke-Lee Heaton
Had dinner here with a friend last night and everything was amazing! We had the hummus with mushrooms, lamb kofta (my personal fav of the night), batatas & the fried chicken! Loved every mouthful, will definitely be back to try the donuts they looked amazing! 10/10
Denise
Absolutely love this place. We had such a good time at The Hummus Club. The food was amazing, the service- friendly, efficient and welcoming and it was a fantastic new experience that we all enjoyed. It is definitely not your typical middle eastern or Lebanese restaurant- amazing arabic script up on the wall, a glowing neon sign adorning the wall and hip hop on the speakers ( pretty sure it was Arabic hip hop too) - its different and its great!Ā
We came early as we had heard it got a little busy later on in the night. We got a table straight away on the deck with a Ā table that overlooked the cityscape- so great on a lovely summery night. On the suggestion of our lovely waitress- who was an absolute star- Ā we ordered Mushroom Hummus, Lamb kefta and the fried chicken. Wow- the flavour combinations and balance of flavours in each dish was great. Scooping up all the hummus with that delicious bread was such an enjoyment. Compliments to the kitchen!Ā
And the donuts- well they were just fantastic and a great way to finish off our meal.Ā
The rest of the night was spent enjoying a delicious WA wine from the Swan Valley and chatting amongst ourselves. Another must have is the Day in Beirut cocktail- my friend couldn't stop raving about it. We will be bringing more people next time so we can enjoy even more items on the menu. Ā Thanks for a fantastic night.

I'll be honest, I've never tried middle eastern food but this was a very nice eye opener. I wasn't sure how to order and the staff there were happy to outline and give some ideas of how to share a dinner for two. We ordered the Freekeh Hummus to share and it was a dish packed with flavour. The broccoli was slightly charred to give a nice smoky flavour and the raisins gave a sweet but savoury taste. The bread was enough to share however I don't think I would tackle this dish alone.

Accompanying the main, the ordered two side dishes. The first that came was the Batata. The potatoes were fired to perfection. The crispy skins accompanied with the garlic toum was perfect. The second side dish was the Kibbeh. I didn't fancy it much as it was very heavy and the beef didn't have much flavour to it. Maybe because I was trying it on it's own at start but even with the yoghurt it was very heavy to digest. The meat could maybe use some spices and maybe not wet before frying.

Overall it was a great experience that I will definitely visit again. A solid 7/10 from me, but I'll have to come back again to re-review.
Little Aussie Epicurean
Food was average, Im a little perplexed by the popularity of this restaurant as I've had much tastier Mediterranean food elsewhere. Dishes are quite expensive for their size and quality of ingredients. Bread was dry!
Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!
I was so excited to try this place after looking at all there photo on this app, I was really looking forward to a falafel wrap, Iv recently cut out red meat and am slowly cutting out chicken, I was waiting at the door to be seated, a few waiters walk passed then just ignored me, then finally one girl just walked if from her brake was putting on her apron and said... have u be looked after. I said no not yet, she took me over to the table and then walked off,

Another waiter come over said have u been here before? I said no, she said can I explain the menu, I said I just want a falafel wrap she said we don't do them, I asked if I could swap the chick over for falafel she said no, so I said fine, she said u can order a hummus and falafel on the side if u would like there is 7 falafel to one order. Far too much food for one person I said just go with chicken,

I was expecting grilled chicken on hummus it came out there was a lot of oil chicken and onion, for me far to fatty it tasted ok but nothing to brag about. I have my heart set of a falafel wrap,

It's a shame they don't have a hummus plate for vegetarians! I won't go back only had 3 little pieces of chicken And left! I won't go back :-(
Kristy Garnsworthy
We had such a great dinner here. Loved it before as a pop up and pleased to finally visit the restaurant. Food was delicious. Loved the hummus and the falafels!Ā Great atmosphere and excellent service, Will be back again.
.ji.sama
decent food, nothing extraordinary. didn't like that my drink had like just 3 ice cubes in it. (and it was a warm day too) service was pretty good, certain dishes were good, others were just alright. having recently dined at the prophet in vic park, we couldn't help but compare the two. overall the atmosphere was nice, i'd like to come back to sample more dishes when the weather cools down a tad.
Nicole Tissott
What scrumptious food! Finally dined here last week for a friends birthday and OMG is all I can say. We had a table of about 10 people, generously kept ordering plates and food only came to $15 per person! Ā We considered the $40 per person option to taste a bit of everything so am glad we opted to just chose ourselves. We tried all the Hummus plates and could not get enough. The best hummus I have ever experienced served in large bowls topped with delicious delights. The beef was a favourite, but the mushroom, freekah and chicken all amazing. The lamb with labneh was one of my other favourites. Our only gripe was the pita bread that was served cold and was not homemade. The pomegranate lemonade had no fizz :( We spent just as much on booze getting quite in to the wine and beer. The wine was served with large stemless glasses which was great. Was having too much fun to take any pics :P

Devastated.
Tonight (Thursday) my partner and I went to The Hummus Club as we had been keen to check it out.
We arrived at 6:30pm and were told that there was a 30min wait for a table, we didn't mind waiting at all. Then 7pm came and we had our table and sat down at a shared table, again which we didn't mind, happy to share tables with others.
We ordered a drink as soon as we sat down and then ordered food 5 minutes after that. The people next to us also ordered at the same time.
Our drinks arrived at 7:20 and our food arrived at 7:50-8:15. (45mins-1hr). The people next to us ordered almost the same dishes and received their meals and had finished them before ours arrived.
We were given a complimentary dish for waiting so long, but by this stage we weren't hungry anymore. I explained to the waitress that we weren't going to be able to eat it and she suggested to 'just have a mouthful and try it'?
I like that The Hummus Club gave us a complimentary dish because of the wait, but I would of preferred an apology, or even to take an item off the bill, especially seeing we couldn't even eat the excessive amount of food.
The food that I had eaten was absolutely amazing, and the service for most of the time was quite good but something just seemed off.
Either our order was never placed through right or the kitchen was really behind?
We aren't mad about our visit just disappointed and a little bit devastated as we don't go out very often for dinner.
Hopefully no other customers have this issue.
Delicious! Amazingly friendly and attentive staff. We ordered the Baharat Chicken Hummus bowl - perfectly whipped hummus and succulent chicken, the signature falafels which were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle served with tahini and pickles .. so good, but for me the show stopper was the lamb kefta they were delicious! I use to visit these guys at various markets and I'm really stoked that they have successfully backed themselves to open a restaurant! The cocktails were also on point!
Mike
Not a particularly authentic or rustic experience. The hummus combinations are not particularly comparable to anything you would find in the Middle East. Menu options and serving size were both limited. Worth trying this place out once, but really just a westernised version of a classic middle eastern dish.
Perthfoodieee
After two years of street vending, those Middle Eastern food vibes from The Hummus Club are bringing a brand new horizon to Northbridge. We are pleased in seeing some already existed dishes from the market again, as well as some new and familiar names on the menu. To be honest, who will challenge the food quality of The Hummus Club? Foods are still as good as the days when we all rushing to the market and queuing up for the hummus. So I reckon you either going there earlier or making the reservations because this place is crowded crazily especially on the weekend! (After dining in, I finally understand the reason of being packed.)
Danielle D'Costa
I have been wanting to try The Hummus Club since it opened and finally got my chance last night - unfortunately I had a stomach bug and didnt have much of an appetite. However the food was fantastic, as agreed by everyone in our group. I am vegetarian and greatly appreciated the decent number of options available. Price was super reasonable, between 7 it was only $20 each. Looking forward to visiting again when I'm feeling better :)
Ze Meddler
Great hummus! Had the mushroom one, super delicious! Also ordered lamb keftas, kibbeh, falafels and batata (fried potatoes). Keftas and kibbeh were awesome. Super crunchy fried potatoes, well fried and very nicely seasoned. Only thing is, the falafels were very disappointing. Dry, lacked flavour, and kinda mushy. The Prophet's falafels still reign supreme for me. Personally feel like falafels should be something you really nail, but hey, someone else might like it! šŸ˜

Drinks were good, staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Nice place, slightly annoying music, but all in all great experience. Good eats! Will be back!
Jeffrey Eater
The staff were very pleasant and efficient but unfortunately the food was very plain. We had the chicken hommus, kibbeh, mint salad and cabbage salad; they were all a little dull.
GlennM
This place is really great. Super tasty food, friendly staff, a great diverse menu with drinks to match. Not overloaded with options, and I mean this as a positive. They do a few dishes very well. A true Perth gem. Thanks.
Johanna Lawlor
Very Very Good. The hummus is one of the best I've had. As were the falafels. The potatoes were perfectly crispy. My only 'let-downs' were that they don't do a plain hummus with just chickpeas (anymore - please bring it back!) and the pita bread is poor (especially given this is essential to mop up the delicious hummus!) The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall very happy and looking forward to our next visit.
Luke Mitchel
This was the first time that I faced that big waiting list for Hommus but worth it! Great place with a friendly staff. I really had a good time with my girlfriend.
Krishnaa Thadeshwar
Love the falafel and hummus here, very nice place in north bridge
loved their couscous salad it's amazing .Best part its vegetarian friendly
Foodie In Paradise
Absolutely love this restaurant. There serve amazing and good quality middle eastern food. We had mushroom hummus, falafels, batata, zaatar fried chicken and the tayta's doughnuts for dessert. I would definitely recommended the hummus , falafels and batata. The hummus at this place is one of the best that I had tried so far.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful in recommending the dishes to order. Lovely atmosphere and reasonable serving. We would definitely come back for more and it is definitely worth queuing up for.
Catalina
Amazing!!! Everything we tried was flavoured beautifully and balanced well!! Will definitely be going back... the service was efficient also!
Lyv To Eat
Mrs. M and I ended up over-ordering on the hummus. Despite the recommendation of only getting one hummus, we got two. No regrets there as they were both delicious. The hummus with mushroom was my favourite as I loved the added aroma of the mushroom. But, both hummus were thick, smooth and perfectly garlicky.
Danielle Kelly
The food at The Hummus Club was satisfying and delicious. The Mushroom and Freekah Hummus and Batatas were a big favorites. Drinks list had good selections, staff were super friendly, efficient and helpful. The restaurant itself is cool, casual and comfortable! Will definitely go again and recommend to everyone!
HotChocolat
No restaurant in Perth delivers a more heart warming and enticing middle eastern food. A boring wait in line encompasses the whole fruitful experience. The rusticity of the lowered light bulbs and the searing laughter in the atmosphere dwells well with the food. The falafel , the hummus , the meat and more, were extremely inviting to my appetite and as a person who lived in Dubai and have experienced many similar foods, this place is one I would highly recommend.
Hungry Steph
Loved this place! Ā It's packed out so get there early and put your name down for a table. Ā All the food was delicious and the service friendly and fast. Ā Great atmosphere and social vibe (we sat on a communal table). Ā Favourite dish was the chicken hummus! Ā Yum- will definitely be back.
Bethany Goodall
Love this place!! We had to line up for what they said would be 30-40 mins and turned out to be 20! Winning. The food was divine, we ordered the whole fish, hummus and a vegetable cous cous dish. All delicious! The only reason I marked down .5 is because the dishes were quite oily. Service and vibes were great, I would return.
Eatingismyhobby
Are here last night with a party of seven. Lovely table outside, atmosphere was good. Ordered multiple dishes from the share style menu, including all of the Hummus dishes. They were superb! The mushroom Hummus especially was so tasty we had to order another portion. All the meat dishes were juicy and flavourful, and they provide lots of flat bread so you can just get stuck in. I can't wait to come back here and eat again. If I were to nitpick, the staff could have been a little more attentive and helpful. For example we were met with a blank look when we asked for a baby chair, then when we asked for the bill, another blank look. Other than that- absolutely fine.
OnePointFive
Glad THC now have opened their own restaurant coz we adore their foods! Went there to celebrate Hubby's birthday with few fellas. Ordered Chicken Hummus, Mushroom Hummus, Falafels, Lamb Kefta, Mid East Salad, Tayta's Doughnuts (dessert) and lasty Pomegranate Lemonade (drinks). Highlight dish was definitely Lamb Kefta. It's sooooo soft and juicy came with great pomegranate and labneh. My second fav was Chicken Hummus followed by Falafels. Tayta's Doughnuts were excellent. Fresh warm doughnuts with orange and chocolate hazelnut sauce, a warming dessert . Everything was presented beautifully and made with lots of care. Staffs were superb, super friendly and very helpful. There's nothing to dislike from THC literally. We can't wait to go back again. Please keep it up guys.

We developed a craving for hummus and falafels after spending a month at Byron Bay. I was super excited when I heard and read about the Hummus Club. We arrived early about 5ish on a Friday night. 2-3 tables were already occupied. We were greeted by the lady boss who was very friendly. As we sat on the lovely outdoor deck area, diners streamed in constantly. In contrast, The poor pizza restaurant had no one. My expectations went up a notch. We ordered the beef promegranite hummus crisps, falafels and the lamb koftas. All the dishes came quickly and seemed cold. We gathered they were pre-cooked to have a quick turn around. The hummus was bland and did not have any taste of chickpeas. We were disappointed.
Corjeadar
Love this place. Everything is to die for, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. I fantasise about the lamb keftas on a daily basis. Other favourites are the mushroom hummus, the cous cous salad and the potatoes. Great options for vegans too.
Shanedurlik14
Food and service was great!! A group of 7 of us shared a heap of the dishes. Standout dishes of course was the hummus and the lamb!! Share the food the way it is meant to be eaten and you will get to try it all!! Couldn't Recommend this place highly enough! Delish :D
WenY
..if anything, the Hummus Club definitely exceeded my expectations for a newcomer. The price was what I would expect from a Perth diner. The basic hummus though felt a little pricey at $14 and some might even argue that the Zaatar Fried Chicken could have had at least 6 on the plate but hey, Perth is not the cheapest for eating out!
Perth Food Explorer
I have talked about the Hummus club pop up in the CBD before so you can imagine how my heart skipped a little beat when they finally opened up a restaurant in Northbridge. Located on William Street it is in the heart of everything happening in the area and I love the space. There is a huge deck with lots of tables out in the open to enjoy the fresh air and the staff are super friendly.
Granola
Definitely will be back very soon!
Came here with a group of friends last night for a casual farewell dinner, and was very satisfied by the end of the night.
This place is great for groups because of the sharing plates. I think we ordered just about every food item on the menu, and I can't fault any of them at all. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner, and service was great!
Fiorella
So glad that my market favourite has now expanded to a restaurant. Excellent service and absolutely delicious - the fried chicken wings were amazing.
Vink
I love that whole new area. Couldn't decide between the chippery and the hummus club šŸ‘€ Glad we went here tho! We ordered hummus with beef and lamb kafta. The lamb dish was yummy, quite small for $17 though. The hummus was perfection. Very filling and a good price šŸ‘šŸ» We sat outside on the terrace and it was really nice ! Quite a few flys tho šŸœ

Sept 17: Have upped my rating on the basis of consistency over time, some new menu additions and the fact this joint just proves good simple fare that's true to its origins can't be beat. A taste sensation without fuss or fads, a current favourite.

Fried chicken & lamb were ace but the kibbeh a little dry. Hummus šŸ‘Œ (obviously) but the real highlight here is THE DOUGHNUTS. Cute little bite-size doughnuts - crispy outside gloriously soft inside - molten chocolate on the side. Whatever else you do, order the doughnuts. I had just overcome my addiction to Mary Street Bakery's hot jam doughnuts, now this.
Foodieperth
This was such amazing food! It was totally packed on a Saturday night. We were seated and served water and menus within the first 5 minutes. We were explained the menu and given a bit of time to process it. We decided to order the chicken hummus and lamb kofta. The lamb was amazing, soft and sweet from the pomegranate glaze but contained the tartness and acidity from the yoghurt and the dressing. The chicken was so well marinated and bursting with flavour. The hummus was so creamy and smooth and went well with the thin pita.

For dessert I ordered the chocolate brownie. I was expecting it to be just from the counter as this wasn't really a dessert place (Whisk Creamery is right next door!) It was so dense and fudgey and topped with pomegranate, cream and fairy floss. The persian fairy floss was tasty and flavoursome, and the brownie was warm and dense- perfect with the cream. Overall the service and food was wonderful and I couldn't fault anything!

Best of luck for the future!
Chloe Cee
Bow down to the hummus club, falafel not fry and insanely delicious??? Oh my gosh the hummus club made all my dreams come light fluffy moist falafel couldn't not fault anything, can't wait to be a regular.
Papillon
Love love lover this place! I always get the club mix and I have never been disappointed. I've had this over numerous occasions throughout different markets and the quality has been consistent. I heard there's a pop up store in the City? If I was working in the city I would go there everyday.
Lifelovetravelfood
One of my favourite food trucks in Perth. I'm a massive felafel and hummus snob and this place delivers on both. So fresh and delicious I really loved this food truck. Their pomenade is also lovely and refreshing. Get to this place, they're fantastic!
EatingPerth
Ordered the Hummus Mix and Hummus Beef at the Trinity Arcade pop up shop.

The GOOD: fast service, reasonable prices, fresh ingredients, very flavoursome, hummus the star, falafel good size, servings generous and came with pita bread, this place blew my mind, it was like a POW of gorgeous flavours mixed together. Healthy too!

The BAD: not much.

This place took us by surprise. Addicted now and will return many times over.
Chantelle Hiley
Yum what a great food concept. Delicious hummus dishes and you might be lucky enough to try some a free baklava :) be sure to also look out for their food truck pop ups.
Billylamb
The pop up store in trinity arcade was busy! But food came out relatively quickly and the staff member was nice enough to give us free baklava! You can add extra olive oil, chili sauce, salt and pepper at the pick up point too. Delicious food - hope they stay! The falafel and hummus is a winner every time!
Zahra Leyla
Tasty stuff, and decent sized portions (but not over the top huge - just enough). The hummus needs a little more garlic for my tastes, but the felafels are top notch. Very reasonably priced and far more nutritious than the usual Subway or food court lunch time options. Basically, it's the Lebanese version of the highly successful Mama Tran's concept, and I'm a huge fan. Highly recommended.

The Hummus Club was celebrating their first birthday on Monday the 28th of September! I saw many photos of the Hummus frequently on the Instagram account and all the thrill about their new eatery that will be opened soon. It was so good to see a lot of people became accustomed to eat hummus by itself instead of just using it as a dip. The salad that was served with pomegranate dressing was refreshing and the falafel was crispy on the outside, almost too good.

Recommended dish: The Club Mix that comes with pita bread, falafels, salad and hummus.

HummusĀ orĀ houmousĀ is aĀ LevantineĀ andĀ Egyptian foodĀ dipĀ orĀ spreadĀ made from cooked, mashedĀ chickpeasĀ blended withĀ tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and garlic.Ā Today, it is popular throughout theĀ Middle EastĀ (includingĀ Turkey),Ā North AfricaĀ (includingĀ Morocco), and inĀ Middle Eastern cuisineĀ around the globe.

Simply the most flavourful hummus I've ever had! These guys have it right when it comes to mixing traditional Arabic flavours with modern flare and presentation. The hummus, falafel and pita salad mix is not only tasty but generous in size and all served by friendly, approachable staff who know the true meaning of good customer service! I'll be coming back for more and more...
GMcLean
Kudos to The Hummus Club for turning mid-eastern street food on it's head. Mixing fresh with modern (the food is essentially gluten and lactose free #winning), the Club's hummus might literally be the best I have ever tasted (think creamy and super-smooth) and the falafels are pure moorishness wrapped in crunch. Great work, you guys!
Believeinyourself
Part of the Inglewood on Beaufort every Monday night, this quick tasty vegan/gluten free friendly to go hummus and falafel hits the spot. Definitely one of the stalls that is a must try.
Mariana D
The spectacular Hummus Club is definitely one to put on your list of places to try! Their falafel's are to die for especially when eaten with their amazing home made hummus!!! Put it on your list... you won't be disappointed!!!
Noush
I wasn't convinced felafel or hummus would be my thing until I tried The Hummus Club. Honestly the best felafel I've ever had. I've tried store- bought hummus since and it just doesn't compare to their fresh hummus- so tasty.
Sam
Love the concept -Perth needed this food club, as it brings authentic Middle Eastern cuisine to the streets of Perth and to the hungry masses.Ā
Friendly staff Ā that make you feel welcome and flavoursome and healthy goodness that leaves you craving a return to the club. The Hummus Club is definitely headed for an exciting future here in Perth.
Farrin De Fredrick
I've sampled the goods from the Hummus Club a few times now and the food has been consistently great. Good sized serves and frankly their hummus is so far the best I've had in Australia - the flavours are fresh and texture is spot on.

I will be going back.
Mei Sann
Consistently amazing food! Best falafels in town, fresh, moreish and healthy! Crave the club mix! Love the crunch factor... Will continue to stalk your events

THE Best Hummus. Soft silky hummus plus SUPER tasty falafel, you cannot go wrong when you order from this food vendor! 10 out of 10!

Hmmmus what to eat?. Yum Yum Yum. About time Perth had some awesome food!!

In and around the mouth. The food was so good i didnt just save it for my stomach no sir, it spent some quality time on my chin, my shirt, i even used it the next day as shaving cream. some or all of this was a result of going at it like cookie monster on drugs. turns out hummus actually makes for good hair gel, too. i shall return early friday night pre-going out. and maybe post, too. yes yum, get some!
Ryanhutchings
Hummus where the heart is!. I have seen this food stall all through leederville and the Inglewood night markets. I tried it and By far the best food stall in inglewood. I loved everything on the menu, made from the heart. The owners really know how to cook great food!
Rima.itani
Happy critics. My hubby and I are major Lebanese foodies and had to try out the hummus club when it hit Leeders market. Our opinion is its a definite winner- if there's one word to describe the experience it would be how FRESH it was. Give it a go!!

The hummus is silky and perfectly balanced, the falafels melted in the mouth and the Fattoush salad was extra tastey with the bread crisped to perfection - perfect 10!
Jmvicente85
Hummus for dayyyyyyz. Amazeball hummus... get around it, you won't be disappointed!
Nuala.donohoe
Hummus heaven. We have tried the hummus club a few times and have always been amazed at how fresh, authentic and tasty the food is. The hummus is silky smooth. My husband loves the falafels. The salad is crunchy. Pomegranate lemonade is ridiculously refreshing. Oh and of course, this all comes with a smile!

Great food, great people. I had the pleasure of trying the hummus club when my little brother brought it home for me one night. I have been hooked ever since! Such great tasting food!! The best part is that the awesome size of the club mix leaves you with a little bit of hummus left over for the next day! Which doesn't last very long. The lemonade is amazing and a must.

Hummus Club. The rule about the hummus club is you talk about the hummus club! Excellent flavour big servings every time and super nice people. The best street food in Perth.

The Hummus Club is only a few months old but already has a gaggle of followers eager to try their delicious Arabic street food that consists of crispy falafel, the BEST hummus and some tasty pomegranate lemonade, among other delicacies. The brainchild of foodie couple Ziad and Kaitlin Zammar, The Hummus Club came about through an eye opening overseas trip when they realised how important food is in shaping a community and how much joy it can bring. Using inspiration from old family recipes (Ziadā€™s dad owned one of the first Lebanese joints in Perth), The Hummus Club aims to have Perthians rethink the way they eat and enjoy traditional Arabic food.

The best Hummus and Falafel I have had since I visited Jordan. Love their marquee and the great service. Always hanging for my next fix.

The pomegranate lemonade is just the thing to cleanse my palate before we dive into the hummus club mix, a box with pita bread, fattoush salad, falafel and of course, an extremely generous heaping of hummus.
