Unpretentious, Delicious, Great value!
For a change of pace we popped into Pachi Pachi on a relaxing Sunday evening. The first thing you'll warm to is the cosy interior, funky yet casual ambience.
Service with a smile from the cute waitress (kawaii!!) who bopped along to the music the whole evening. You can just tell when people love their job!
We tried the Angry Birds at "Boss Level" (tender chicken drumetts laced with varying levels of hotness). These were very different to any other chicken we've tried in Perth, very fusion, huge serving size (we ended up taking away). Hot and spicy enough to challenge even the most seasoned tastebuds yet comfortably edible to have you coming back for more.
Next main dish was the Barramundi Symphony, crisp fried Barra fillet topped with ginger, garlic, chillies, scallions, coriander and seafood sauce. The texture was biscuit crispy as the crackle of my first bite echoed through the room, soon flooded with the intense fusion of quality ingredients. Filleted to perfection, you can scoff this down with no risk of fish bones slowing you down! I also loved the large size of the dish at a ridiculously affordable price!
The pineapple and vege fried rice was simply nice. Well fried without any sogginess. Well balanced against the superstar dishes we were already demolishing!
For drinks we had the Taro Latte which was perfect! This drink alone would be worth stopping by for. Super smooth, sweetly flavoursome without being hammered by sugar.
For dessert.. (Yes we had room for dessert cos we took away the Angry Birds) we had Black Forrest Hong Kong style waffles!! Omg.. This dessert topped off our dinner adventure with a generous serving of fresh berries swimming amongst not one but two mountainous scoops of chocolate ice cream, smothered over chewie HK style waffle balls.
Pachi Pachi?
Yummy Yummy!
I was heading somewhere else and walked past this place but liking the vibe that had come from it I went back and had my coffee there. Always on the hunt for something different on a menu I ordered Honey Brick toast as well. It was amazing I can’t wait to go back again. There is a version with chocolate but I don’t tend to eat chocolate unless it’s in a bar but I can imagine that must be good too.
The girl who served me was wonderful, very helpful and made me feel welcome.

Wonder Chinese New Year dinner....
The food was spectacular...Golden tempura prawns with melon and wasabi mayo; Whole fried barramundi with scallions, chilli and herbs; Kungfu spicy chicken drummettes; Sticky orange beef; tamarind pad thai; Matcha and taro frappes; and Teh Tarik (milk tea) pannacotta.
10/10 taste and reasonably priced :)
Blown away.
Yum Yum Yum! Just had the best breakfast! Everything was amazing! Highkly reccomend!
The best service I have had since living here! The food was also amazing! Thanks :)
Went here for breakfast, super friendly and efficient staff. Great food.
Very inexpensive and great service. The food was top quality for the price. I will be returning and soon.
The genghis sizzling beef was lovely and spicy. We also had spicy chicken wings loads of flavours. Fried squid tentacles was very bland. All in all food and service very good. Will go back
This is my go to place. Everything thing about it is bloody fantastic
Their food is to die for!!! I even have my birthday dinner there XD love their barramundi symphony and sweet sour pork! My friend had their ramen and they love it.
Their smoothie blend matcha mango is my favourite, the matcha and taro latte I think is better than what I had.
Recently went to their breakfast launch, avo smashed. It's something different in terms of taste and pretty appetising, it has been my favourite since. We also ordered the taro pannacotta, OMG just go try it. Words can't describe my love for it lol.
They can be pretty busy throughout the day but the staff still manage to smile at everyone they served, their hard work and dedication is amazing.
Definitely some of the nicest asian food going around! Great pricing for the quality, add in fast service and friendly staff, found ourselves a new little gem
Good coffee great friendly staff and plenty to see as life walks past😁
Nice surprise to see they offered unlimited chicken wings for $20 on a Tuesday night when we went. Who doesn't love chicken wings?! The taste was nice but we weren't able to fill up on them because they were soooooo salty! Luckily the mee goreng we ordered for the kids were ok, still on the saltier side but tolerable.
I can see why this place has so many great reviews. Excellent service and really tasty food. Well done!
We were there Friday night for dinner. Had the red duck curry and angry birds. Both were really tasty. Will definitely be back to try all the other dishes they have to offer.
Lovely staffs. Their breakfast menu is so good. Will definitely come back.
Good portions and friendly services. The Genghis Khan beef special was very tasty. Rest of my company enjoyed their dishes. Will be returning.
Food is unique given that it's a fusion restaurant. Staff is friendly and wait times are reasonable. Highly recommend if in the area. Good value overall.
Great little cafe, always consistent with their quality of food.
I've been here for breakfast, lunch and coffee and all of my visits have been great. Love their nanban burger and ramen for brunch. Dessert is also notable with their yummy egg waffles.
Friendly staff, tasty well-presented food, great prices. I had the chicken ramen and it was soooo good! Mum had the pad Thai and she also loved it. Will return soon.
Definitely a different twist on the fusion cuisine idea - I've had a couple of lovely meals here. The venue is bright and welcoming and the staff are upbeat and friendly. Recommended. It's also a plus that it's directly across from the Vic Park Hotel, and sometimes I give in to temptation and eat here after a few libations. :)

Had breakfast here this morning and it was delish! Highly recommended. I used my groupon voucher for $15 and i’ve still got these delicious meals 😍 Coffee is great too! 👍🏼
This place is great value for money. The food is always cooked well, is tasty and cheap. There's lots of options on the menu too. Good service and friendly setting. One of my preferred eateries on the Albany hwy strip.
Friendly service, excellent food and good dining ambience. Nice taro latte and matcha latte. Great place to try out a variety of asian foods. Highly recommend small cafe located in Victoria Park, you won’t regret. :)
Lovely cafe. More fusion meals than traditional but always tastes amazing.Nice ambience. Delicious breakfast! I had an avo smash and really enjoyed it. Worth what you pay for. Highly recommend!
You must go here while you're in Perth, Western Australia. Loved their Takoyaki, Pachipachi Fried Rice and Pudding! Great place for friends and fam. Also the staff is very accommodating.
Small, casual cafe offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options. All our dishes tasted nice but rather annoying that the dishes come out separately. Our starters actually were the last to arrive which is no biggie but somewhat inconvenient when you have already started eating mains. All in all, nice place for a quick feed when in the area.
Great food, not much ambience but friendly staff make up for that. Good VFM and good choice of asian dishes. Parking in side streets is your best bet, rather than busy Albany H’Way. Bundi
To celebrate Christmas holiday. Friends decided to go out having dinner at this place. First impression was that the shop looks a bit small as a normal Coffee shop is. However, the drinks and foods in here were great. All of us loved it.
The food is very tasty and although it isn’t a fancy place, the atmosphere is very pleasant and it is clean. The staff are always friendly and the service is prompt. We have been back several times and even got takeaway because we loved it so much. I particularly love the teriyaki salmon.
Good food with reasonable price, the staffs are friendly and helpful. I love their porridge and pull beef Benedict. For dinner my fav is angry bird.
We were heading back from Margaret River and was wanting to pick up some food before getting home. We called ahead for a takeaway order and it was ready to pick up when we stopped by (about 15 minutes).
I really liked the eggplant chips with the sambal sauce. The prawns with egg floss was also nice. I was a bit disappointed with the pad thai since I found it quite bland compared to their other dishes.
All in all it was a really tasty meal.
*Rating is a 3.5*
Had a casual dinner for 2 here recently and was quite pleasantly surprised with the food. Menu was interesting with a variety of Asian dishes. We settled on the beef bao (fluffy and delicious, highly recommend), the lotus chips (unfortunately a bit burnt but still quite good), the tempura prawns with yuzu mayo (this flavour combo worked very well together, the tempura batter was unfortunately too heavy), Buddha garden (simple but delicious) and the fried squid tentacles (a bit too oily and heavy for my taste). The cafe itself could do with a bit of an interior update to improve ambience and the menus were extremely grimy/dirty which was a big turn off in the beginning to be honest. But staff were friendly, helpful with the menu and the bill at the end was very reasonable ($30 a head without drinks). Would definitely return.
Ordered the Pachi Pachi seafood fried rice, prawns with golden floss, and the Angry Birds and it was so good! Staff members was so friendly and warm. Would definitely come again next time :)
Visited pachi pachi for the first time tonight with friends. We had a really good meal - everything was delicious and well priced. The chicken gyoza, chicken karaage, orange beef, Naughty buddha, pachi fried rice were all delicious! Would definitely recommend this place to newbies who haven’t tried and even better if you have a voucher from the entertainment book!
Been there several times. As an indonesian its rarely find a really outstanding asian restaurant that can match the food taste at home. However the foods and beverages here are just above expectancy
Went for brekkie with my sister and my son.He had the Pulled pork eggs Benedict, sister had the chicken burger and I had the sweet waffles with bacon. The eggs were amazing flavour (son was very happy). The chicken burger was nice but nothing to rave about. The waffles were really nice but so much (I don't usually do sweet) but they came with a cornflake crumb which added a nice crunch. Restaurant is small but cosy. Would we go back - maybe to try some lunch dishes.
Great breakfast. Good portions. Nice ambience and friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Taro latte very rich and delicious. Would return again
Came here with a Groupon voucher for breakfast. We did not set any high expectations but the kids and ourselves were super surprised with the dishes that came out. Presentation was great and the service was awesome.
We had a group of 5, the adults had Eggs Benedict, 2 kids had the choc berry tower brick toast (one was a brick toast but because they were running out of ready brick toasts we had the HK waffles for the other one), and one had just hash browns and bacon.
The Eggs Benedict was delicious. The pulled beef brisket was juicy and tasty. Along with two perfectly poached eggs it was a delight.
The choc berry tower brick toast was an aesthetically/visually pleasing dish. All the components balanced themselves into a perfect breakfast for old and young kids. The chocolate soil mixed in with the ice cream and the waffles were quite a tasty way to start the Friday for the kids.
We also knew that the servings were quite large so we didn't order a 5th full dish but instead supplemented with some good old fashioned bacon and hash browns.
Hash browns were slightly overcooked but still it was well made (they were hand made it was quite apparent) and the bacon was cooked to perfection.
The coffee and hot cocoa that went with all of this feasting was fresh and warm.
Kids loved it, we loved it. Thumbs up to the chef and the server.
We will re-visit, no doubt about that!
I love Pachi Pachi!!!!!!!!! Ever since a good friend showed me this place for brunch a few months ago, I've been introducing it to all my friends and family. They consistently have super warm and welcoming staff, with fantastic food and good value. I like their vibrant menu with cute tasty drinks like matcha/taro lattes and frappes. Their breakfast is the reason why this is my favourite cafe - well priced, generous servings, and heaps of unique options while still offering a twist on classics. Their Ramen and accompanying sides are also extremely filling and flavoursome. Definitely check this place out!!!!!!
Food and service is lovely. Breakfast menu is very interesting, plenty of Asian fusion dishes to choose from. I'm happy we give it a try, next time will try other dishes on the breakfast menu as they all looks worthy of trying.
Fantastic food . Fantastic service. And try the Angry Birds. Really delicious. All the dishes were great. We had a selection of dishes between 8 people. Service quick and friendly. Will definitely be back.
We had an amazing late breakfast at Pachi Pachi today. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented, the service impeccable and the prices so reasonable. We'll definitely be back!!
the food is really good, is a reinvented Chinese food, with big portions and amazing flavour, ideal for sharing. we ordered online but I should say it was a little heavy.
This is my 3rd time at Pachi Pachi ,was planning to use my entertainment voucher but absolutely forgot while paying at the counter.
This cuisine here could be described as an Asian fusion with influences from namely Southeast Asia and Japanese style cooking , so if you are driving along Albany and could not decide what to eat , Pachi Pachi could well be the place for you.
Their standard fares included - ramen , mee goreng , curry dishes , fried rice . We decided on their signature orange beef , angry bird(level2), chicken fried rice and their garden Buddha dish .
Of the 4 dishes , I would recommend the angry bird and if you are in the mood go for the hottest one . It was basically fried chicken drench in Asian style spicy sauce .
Orange beef was nice but it’s technically sweet and sour dish using the orange sauce as a twist . Garden Buddha was your standard veg dish with light oyster sauce . The fried lotus roots was a nice touch though .
They had an interesting dessert - Teh Tarik panna cotta. But I was too full to give it a try .
Price wise was reasonable considering the portion .
A good plus was they had friendly staff, this was one of those place I don’t have to beg for water . It was provided on arrival .So I had to give this place an extra star for service
I ordered in a Buddha bowl and edamame beans on a weeknight and was quite impressed. Lots of yummy crunchy Vegas in a delicious sauce. I’ve popped into the restaurant before but only for coffee, I’ll definitely have to go back and try some tapas
I can’t remember how many times I have been here because the food is soooo good! My best friend and I have always been ordering their nanban chicken bento, super generous portion and super tasty! Theres this special sauce on nanban chicken that I will never be fed up with. All their bentoa come with tempura, gyoza, and salad too. Their ramens are also delicious, with tonkotsu being my all time favourite. Yet to try their breakfast menu!
Friendly service and the food comes out fast. Pretty affordable tasty food that is a fusion of different asian countries. Love their taro latte as well ❤️
Easily booked in with plenty of tables to spare on a Sunday.
We became concerned when being seated with 20+ flys within the area of our table, we opted to move to another table away from all the flys. However still continued to shoo flys away from us and our meals the entire time we were there.
Ordered the choc berry brick toast, was absolutely amazing and would recommend. Everyone was delighted with the food and the portions of their meals.
Overall experience was great, just need to sort out the fly problem as it was a little off putting.
We are here just after 1 pm on Thursday. The cafe was empty so service was good and waitress was polite and helpful. I really enjoyed the chicken karagge but the portion size was on the small side. The waffles were so good! Lovely and sweet. I prefer if the ice cream was creamier. Overall good food, great ambience and service. It kept me interested enough to try other items on their menu.
Great value quality food in a relaxed friendly setting. Eaten here twice now and portions were good size. Bento box was massive and better quality than the ones at the malls which cost the same. Most mains are priced at $10-$15 range which is cheap for a sit down restaurant. The ambience is casual and better than a coffee shop.
Open on Monday nights which is unusual for a restaurant. Closed on Tuesdays but Zomato app says that its open that day.
Great value for money and delish food. The quality of everything in the menu was amazing. We finished the meal with croissants and they were one of the best I've had in a long time. The service was impeccable for a place that essentially has take away prices.
Went there for dinner on Saturday night. The staff were friendly and food was served just a few minutes after we placed our order! We had orange beef, chicken nanban and Buddha garden. We really enjoyed everything the beef in particular. It has a yummy sauce that's similar to Chinese Peking sauce. Loved it! The only thing I didn't like was the limited space in the restaurant that makes you a little difficult to sit down and get out of your chair when it's packed inside. I would definitely go back and try other dishes on the menu!
Service was quick & friendly./ Food was fresh & had good balance./ Good coffee./ Interesting Asian flavours. (i.e. Teriyaki beef brisket & Miso Caramel Cookie)
We got some takeaway from here on Sunday as a last minute "save". Based on that experience I'll try dine-in sometime soon. The menu is a bit different from the rest of the asian outlets on the E Vic Pk strip; a fusion of regional styles with some imagination thrown in. I enjoyed the funky taste of the barramundi symphony, which was way better then its "cheesy" name would suggest. In the words of Schwarzenegger "I'll be back"
First time at this place, menu was a bit shabby but hey means they have been.here a while so must be good? We ordered the Buddha veg I think, sweet and sour pork and Japanese curry. Very affordable and tasty. Had to order another bowl of rice for the curry.....yum. wait staff were warm.and inviting. We would surely come.here again and can't wait till we pass through again. Would.recommend you book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Food came out very quickly and was delicious. Waitstaff need a bit more experience though, first they told us there were no seats however luckily a couple got up and went up to pay as the waitress told us...it was as though she meant the restaurant was fully booked. The mains and curry came out before the rice so we had to wait a few minutes for the rice and cutlery before we could start eating which is always a bit odd. Lovely meal though, will come again. :D
Been here a few times to try different dishes. Generally, food is definitely above average; their menu has a unique twist to a few Asian dishes. However, food consistency is a bit lacking. Fell in love with pineapple fried rice the first time I ate it, but tastes quite different when I ordered takeaway- pineapple tasted a bit off. Will also give ramen a miss as it was too salty that I couldn't finish it.
Having said that, I'd still come back to have the pineapple fried rice and other dishes- love the Barramundi Symphony and egg floss prawns. Desserts have been consistently good; the matcha egg waffle is a must!
Came here for lunch with a friend. We had the teriyaki barramundi and chicken karaage. The teriyaki barramundi was quite salty due to the sauce, but was still tasty. Matcha egg waffles were yummy and very aesthetically pleasing! Only downside is that the food took quite a while to be served
Service and setting was good. Food was ok. I had the crispy squid starter and stewed beef curry. The squid was flavoured well but too chewy - should have been more tender. The curry was just alright - nothing to write home about. Still, for the price it's a good meal.
Good spot for quick tasty cheap eats. If my bf had it his way we'd only ever eat here. Staff are always friendly and foods always full of flavour
Wow!! This place is awesome!!! Great food and service. Chicken wings are amazing! You have to have dessert! The black Forrest waffle wow!! Only downfall would be the toilet out the back and the poor air con but that actually adds to the atmosphere of the food!!
taste wise its little above average, menu is little lacking in interesting foods.
a place i would go to have lunch once a month. better than pepper lunch, most japanese places in vic park and indian restraunts in vic park. if you dont know where to go and you dont like korean food go here.
Nice environment, went there during lunch time, unexpectedly not crowded at all. Food was good, ordered a katsu bento set and chicken karaage set and home brewed ice lemon tea ☕️. It was kinda sweet for the ice tea but overall the food is not bad. Love the side salad 🥗 but some of is quite bitter. Will definitely come back to try out the dinner menu
One night my family and I were craving for some good Asian food, but also wanted to try something we've never tried before. Well, I knew where I wanted to go, Pachi Pachi, but, previous experience told me that I won't be able to get a table at the last minute. As I was feeling brave, I called anyway, and lucky for us, they had a table with our name on it! So we quickly made our way down!
Come here quite regularly with my partner. Food is always great and always get a decant sized portion of food. Everything is very well priced considering the qaulity of food you get.
I'm almost a little remise to leave this review as I want to keep Pachi Pachi my little secret.
My work colleagues and I happened upon this little gem accidentally when we ordered in Uber Eats to the office for lunch. Pachi Pachi has now become a weekly regular order and not one of us has had a bad or even average meal to date. Pad Thai tick. Mee Goreng tick. Pork Belly Udon tick. Ramen tick. Tick tick tick tick tick. This place makes bangin' good Asian fare (and trust me I know my Asian) Looking forward to dining-in to try some of the food that's not offered via the uber eats menu.
Had lunch here today great food I had the spiced pork ramen 🍜 it was on point really good balance of chilli and the wife had the chicken bento 🍱 full of flavour 👌 service was friendly will definitely be coming back to try the dinner menu.
I first came into this restaurant when they just opened for a week and i have been coming back since! Their fusion Asian food just hit the right place and taste. There are a few out there in Vic park and unfortunately they're nowhere as good as this. The barramundi curry is so tasty that I had to finish the curry sauce, their beef is moist and tender and not to forget the most favourite angry bird dish which is so tasty that you'd want to come back to it even though you were thinking of trying something else before you enter the restaurant.
Service a bit slow as only 2 wait staff (including taking care of till and phone orders too)! Place is very small and tables are pretty squishy btw each other. Food is good and serving size quite ok but menu isn't too extensive. Our least liked is the teriyaki chicken which is quite bland and we've tasted better elsewhere. The beef is a tad too salty but quite tender. Overall an enjoyable meal, we will be back to try other foods in their menu.
Their bento lunch is of good value. In addition to the meat dish, it comes with mixed tempura, salad and rice. The food is good and the serve is big. The Ramen is good too. Have tried their Matcha Ice Cream Pancake, very special and yummy, however too pricey for a desert. I have brought few friends there and they also like the food. Overall, good place to have lunch. Hope they keep up with their good work.
Awesome, simple little restaurant that, most importantly, serves up the most delicious food. I had chicken katsu and asian greens with garlic - fantastically fresh and great flavours. My beloved had chicken karage entree and a Mongolian beef main which he reported was exceptional. Couldn't fault the experience.
Pachi Pachi was one of the restaurants in Perth that serves Asian food as part of their breakfast menu. Last year we went to Pachi Pachi with a group of friends and everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. Hubby ordered the extremely delicious baked Japanese beef curry with béchamel sauce. This curry also came with an option of sourdough toast or rice and plenty of chunky beef pieces! Everyone had a taste test and they all said positive things about this dish.
Absolutely must try Matcha Much crispy Hong Kong egg waffle; one of the best matcha desserts I have had in Perth!
Eggs benedict with pulled yakinuku beef brisket was packed full of flavour, with a generous splash of hollandaise to cover every bite.
The congee had all the familiar elements of shredded chicken, chinese donut, coriander & spring onion.. but was just missing a dab of chilli. It was a good consistency but lacked a bit of flavour.
The egg slut consisted of coddled egg & warm potato cream poached, served with toasted soldiers.. a play on the classic eggs on toast.
Although the taro latte was as smooth & creamy, the taro flavour could have been more pronounced.
Tried this place on a Sunday weekend with my partner for brunch. We went for Pachi Pachi expecting more from a 4.0 from Zomato.
I tried the Nanban chicken bento set. It came with vege salad, fried prawn and sweet potato tempura, gyoza, and edamame.
First thing that I noticed was that the tempuras were not fried with Panko breadcrumbs like traditional tempura. The first bite was ladened with heavy flour, did not resemble a tempura. The gyoza had more flour (again) and very little meat.
The Nanban chicken had a nice tangy kick to the palate, with mayonnaise salad sauce to top it off. The edamame and rice rounded the dish well. Nice portion. Overall this dish scored a 6.5/10.
I had an ice lemon tea on the side and it was nice and cooling for the day.
Would come back to try the noodle dishes and dinner menu.
A small place, but homely...
The meal prices are really affordable with bento boxes starting from around $13. The sides for the bento are a good portion and presentation pleasing.
I ordered the Chicken Karaage Bento Box today. The portion of chicken was a bit disappointing compared to my partners Namban Chicken portion. The tempura was nice but again the size of the prawn served was very inconsistent with mine being at least 3/4 the size of my partners. Salad was great, edamame cooked and unsalted (I prefer unsalted) and rice serving was just right. I'd probably give credit for the price and rate the dish a 7/10.
Other than the one menu item, the home made ice lemon tea was nice, refreshing for a hot day (36 degrees today), and service was very good. I like being asked after a few bites if my meal was good and if everything ordered has come. I hope to come back here again and try the noodles.
Great service and lovely food. We were a group of 6 and all our meals were delicious. I had pad Thai and probs one of the best I've had. We were offered more sauce during the meal which I thought was good service. Fantastic value and we could all pay separately, winner!!
The seafood laksa is very good, more of a malay style with a curry influence.
The highlight of this dish however was not the well cooked seafood, awesome chewy egg noodles or the banging soup.
It was the deep fried eggplant pieces scattered through giving glorious flavour and textures that made my heart sing like aladdin and princess jasmine on that carpet ride.
The food is great as well as the service, the deco is modern and cosy.
Do yourself a favour and go there it's a gem.
There's probably a handful of places I would give 5 stars to and pachi pachi is one of them. Everything we've ordered so far from Mee Goreng to different curries to Angry Birds boss level has been superb. Make sure to book a spot because this place gets very busy due to popularity!
I thought this place was actually very good and cheap. We ordered the Agedashi tofu ($6) and the chicken and potato curry and rice ($14). The Agedashi Tofu was amazing! The skin was so crisp and the sauce was flavoursome. It was one of the best I've eaten. The chicken curry was very tasty! It had a rich and flavoursome broth and the chicken was sp moist and tender! It was such a big serving- good value for the $14.
Excellent food and service, but startlingly expensive tea. We had one laksa and one ramen, which were absolutely delicious and great value for money. I ordered a $3.50 jasmine tea, under the impression that I would get a pot. It turned out to be a cup of hot water with a tea bag in it 😞 That's an expensive teabag!!! We will definitely go back to try more dishes, but we won't be ordering tea again 😂
An awesome asian fusion place in perth.
The orange beef was sensational while the barramundi was decent.
Both taro and matcha latte were nice as well.
It is a bit pricey but for the quality of food, I wouldn't mind
The four of us had a really enjoyable meal last night. The staff were very attentive and the food was of high quality. Will definitely come back.
We had a WONDERFUL dinner at Pachi Pachi. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend this place to many people.
Yes, the place is small and hence limited seatings *so you should come early if you want to get a seat*, the place is simple but it has a nice casual dining ambiance. The interior is designed nicely with pictures. The staff was friendly and very attentive (maybe because the place is small), the food came in quickly, and amazingly they even let us stay longer after we finished our meal (generally when the place is small, you want us out as soon so the next customers can come in).
Pachi pachi has a list of catchy, unique, and tempting signature dishes that it’s really hard for us to choose which ones we have to settle with. You could argue that each menu in their signature range was really good. I love the word play they use on their menu adding different experience right from the moment we browsed their menu. We were laughing at “You make Miso happy soup”!
We ordered Angry Birds Stage 2 spiciness which was just at the right level of spiciness! The chicken was soft and the distinct and unique flavour of Asian herb was tasty. Next we ordered Genghis Khan – which probably was one of the best marinated beef on sizzling plate I’d ever tasted in Perth. The secret must lied in their in house special sauce eh? The beef itself was soft and sumptuous. In addition, we also ordered the teriyaki tofu and pineapple fried rice which nicely complemented the other dishes.
Price was decent. Initially you might think $18 chicken and $19 beef were expensive, but when you look at the size of the dishes and the delicious flavour they had, you might change your mind. The $12.50 vegetable & pineapple fried rice with cashew nuts was a bargain!
For drinks, we ordered the taro latte and matcha latte. I ordered the ice taro latte which was really really good. It was sweet but not too sweet – the level was just perfect you could taste the taro without being overcome by the sugar. With a bit of ice cream and chocolate waffle, the $5.50 ice taro latte was a must-try!
Will definitely come again to try the other menu and the desserts!
Very smiley and friendly staff, quick service and delicious food. We enjoyed the ramen and agdashi tofu at the window seat watching the rain drizzle down (a month or so ago). It was very nice and I would happily return when passing through Vic Park.
Pachi Pachi
unpretentious, delicious, great value!
Honestly am in love with this place. Came here a couple of times and the food is still great as always. Reasonable price, great quality food with a great ambience and good service. Besides the limited seating available in store, overall it's such a great place to go to
We keep returning here, great modern Asian dishes with lots of flavour and great value. Phad thai and dumplings dishes are really good. Service is good and with only a few tables they are pretty attentive.
I often overlook this café/restaurant because of its location ... it is kind of in between the 2 main restaurant hubs of Vic Park, but another visit tonight reinforced just how good it is. Japanese is my least-favourite type of Asian food, but Pachi Pachi has amazing fusions of my favourite flavours of Asia so the result is always a tough decision about what to order. The menu is quite broad, and they do some interesting variations to traditional dishes. Most importantly, the flavours work well together. I am yet to be disappointed with anything. I love some spice in my food and that is one area they really excel here. It's a small comfortable place, and the service is always friendly and attentive. To top it all off they've got a very nice selection of soft drinks, teas & coffees on the menu. I'd recommend Pachi Pachi to anyone who enjoys Asian food and wants to try a menu that is a little bit different.
Small cozy restaurant, but such a great little place! Wonderful friendly service, great prices, and a wide variety of choices from the menu! Very pleased with our experience here, worth a visit!
Relatively small restaurant, but seating is arranged well. Dinner menu is interesting and I like the variety offered. Dishes are quite generous and the stand out being Angry Birds because I'm able to tailor the chilli hit and it definitely hit the spot for me. Friendly and polite service.
Very nice food here, the spicy ramen is a favourite of mine. Delicious lemon ice tea, hard to stop at just one glass. Dessert was nice too.
Went on a cold saturday night & ordered the green tea egg waffle - served relatively quickly. The egg waffle was crunchy on the outside & soft in the middle, fresh strawberries, chewy sweet red beans, green tea ice cream & drizzled with matcha condensed milk on top! A sweet dessert to end the night only for $15!
Family dinner. We chose pachi pachi because our chosen restaurant was closed on a Monday and we were very glad we did. An interesting menu with many Asian dishes from all sorts of areas. We chose a bunch of strangely named dishes (prawns with egg floss, ghengis khan, chicken namban) and were impressed by everything - including the very friendly service. Highly recommended for a try and we will be back! Bathroom was quaint and stand alone out the back through the busy kitchen.
Fantastic little spot! All of the dishes we ordered were amazing. Nice casual atmosphere. BYO. Well priced. Great service. What more could you ask for!
Unexpectedly good. Ordered Ghenghis Khan (Mongolian beef), Naughty Budha (stir fried veggies with chicken) and Yaki Udon something ( I can't remember, it had pork belly). The Yaki Udon was awesome. Naughty Budha and Ghenghis Khan was good. I gave it 4 out of five, for the price, it was very good. Cheap night out. Service was excellent.
A wonderful array of fusion asian delights all cooked to absolute perfection. Their very friendly service, intimate interior spaces and homely decor made our dining experience one to remember. We look forward to our next opportunity to delve deeper into the menu.
What a great little place! Wonderful friendly service, great prices and a huge selection of asian fusion food with a few standard regulars. I ran out of room for dessert and cant wait to return. You could drop in for a different smoothie (such as lychee coconut or mango matcha), taro or matcha latte or some pretty & interesting waffles for dessert that you can order off their breakfast menu (which looks fun). Definitely not the stock standard.@ There are so many interesting twists here! We had the octopus, beef cubes with garlic, crispy squid tentacles, orange beef and buddhas stir-fry which were delicious. The beef tataki served next to us also looked really good. It is not licensed so byo booze.
Come here for dinner. Got the ramen. It didnt taste or look like traditional japanese ramen but was still pretty decent. I also tried the tarro latte (purple drink) which was very sweet and tasty. I wanted to try their desserts that ive seen in the photos but when I went it didnt have any on the menu. But ive been told after the impressive deserts you just have to request as they are not on the menu
The service at this place was outstanding - we had to wait a couple of minutes for a table and the staff were super friendly and helpful. A cute little place, will definitely return.
Went here for lunch with my boyfriend and we both enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken katsu bento and he had the ramen. Both were large servings and well priced. I had the lychee coconut smoothie which was the highlight of my meal, really yummy! The service was really good and it was a comfortable restaurant.
Came here for dinner. Ordered the chicken gyoza sticky pot dumplings, the naughty buddha and the thai green curry. Flavours were very authentic and delicious. Service was fantastic. A very good atmosphere. A pleasant meal overall. Worth a visit.
Really good service, the food is great and innovative without being try hard (love the 'Angry Bird') and the matcha lattes were pretty spot on for the most part. It's not the most 'wow' factor food you'll get in this kind of Asian fusion cuisine, but it's well executed.
Came here for lunch with a friend on the weekday. The cafe is relatively small but cozy. Wanted to try out the congee but unfortunately it was only on the breakfast menu.
We ordered the matcha latte, taro latte, ramen with pork in tonkotsu broth and the ramen with chicken in miso broth.
The ramen itself was slightly too salty for me and taste pretty average. The matcha latte was nice and my friend like her taro latte.
This cafe offer amazing service. First of all, they took the wrong order, given us two matcha lattes. The staff was really friendly and told us that we can keep both the drinks and they will only charge us for what we ordered. They also offered us separate billing. I'm keen to go back again to try out other dishes and thumbs up for the good service.
Came here for lunch and ordered the Seafood Laksa which was delicious! It was quite different to what I normally get when I order Laksa. It had deep fried squid and little fish balls on a stick that was really yummy. The matcha and taro latte's were soooo delicious. Small place though, so make sure you come early or book - otherwise you might not get a table or will have to wait. Will definitely be back.
What an amazing experience. This is a place that is definitely worth a visit. Very reasonably priced and the food is fresh, healthy and not to mention the service which we were constantly approached with smiles. A little note to mention which I thought topped our experience was that we ordered the gyoza for our entree between 3 of us and it came out with 6 piece rather than their standard size of 5 which avoided the awkward 'who wants the last piece' scenario. We'll be back
I love the Taro & Matcha Latte. Lunch menu was okay but dinner was so yummy. I love the Eggplant chips with Sambal. Not too spicy, but sweet & tasty sambal. The fried baramundi with soy sauce, chilli & spring onion was yummy too but a bit too salty even though I had it with rice. Anyway, will come back :)
Delightful Asian fusion (leaning towards jaoanese) restaurant. It's a very cosy place, with simple decors. Service was really good, tattered menus and noticed their fancier dessert type dishes like the taro panna cotta and Hong Kong waffles were not in the menu - so please request this is you want to try them. We ordered the Eggplant Chips with sambal sauce; Angry Bird (spicy chicken) with stage 1 spiciness; and Tenpura Prawns with yuzu mayo and honeydew balls. Large servings! The dressing on the prawns were nice but the batter wasn't as expected and a let down. The eggplant chips were fried well, not too oily and the sambal dressing goes well - though too little for the dish size. The chicken was spicy and only at level 1 - be warned it goes to Game Over level spiciness! But the flavour was very Thai inspired and fragrant. The waffle was a great way to end the night, chocolate ice cream, fresh berries and fluffy chewy waffle - presented very well too. Lastly, we tried a Taro Latte, good taro flavour, warming for winter. Quite liked it here.
Great Asian cafe with a variety of food. My favourite was the spiciness. Spicy lovers would love it here must try the different level of spiciness reaching 'game over' hot. I would suggest making a booking as it does get busy on a Saturday night
Amazing little shop. Pretty decor good service. Was here for lunch, ordered the chicken katsu curry. The food was decent not the best I had... but decent 7/10. Portion was good with affordable price. What really blew me away was the matcha latte... It was amazing.... Probably one of the best I had.... The flavor and texture I guess was perfect. Would definitely come back again just for it. They also serve a decent taro latte 9/10
Gave us free dessert because of a table mix up.
Octopus ball entree was great as was the barramundi eggplant red curry.
Also the taro latte is nice.
Will be back :)
A spontaneous trip down left me very happy and satisfied, we were seated outside for dinner, but was asked if we wanted to move inside as it was getting quite cold outside, kudos on their attentiveness, the food wasn't the best I have ever had l, but it was decent and ramen on a cold night just seemed like the most perfect idea. We went to order dessert afterwards, and was suggested the waffles on the breakfast menu, the Black Forest waffles plating display on it was absolutely astonishing, needless to say we demolished the plate. We were very happy with the service, with the warm culture feeling on the inside and the food, we will be returning here no doubt about that.
My friend told me about this great little modern Asian cafe. Their food and service was good.
We had:
1. Angry bird-kapoww...if you like spicy food, def need to order this dish.superlicius😍😍
2. The ikko-sama(seared salmon)-if you want something different
3. Orange beef- it has different taste from my imagination, but it's still taste good
4. Pachi pachi ramen-for me its lack of punch...but it's still ok
The rest of the food let's let the picture speak them self
5. Sweet asuki beans with matcha ice cream on Hong Kong style egg waffles
6. Black Forrest on Hong Kong style egg waffles
7. Taro panna cotta-my favourite😍😍
8. Taro latte😍😍
No.5,6,7 only available on Saturday and Sunday (we are so lucky that we can preorder it for lunch-amazing service)
All those food and drink was wipe up clean by 5 hungry mums.
So delicious I didn't even get the money shot of the beautiful Agedashi tofu starter. The Naughty Buddha is a healthy highlight. Next time: octopus buns!
We are regulars at Pachi Pachi. The food is absolutely incredible and service is amazing. The orange beef is one our most ordered dishes however i would rave about every item listed. Do yourself a favour and book ahead as this place gets busy every night of the week.
My friend wanted to try this place and as she is the oracle of food in Perth I happily agreed. Great little modern Asian cafe we had two bento boxes chicken karage and Buddhas lunch both tasty and week priced. Taro latte was amazing . Great lunchtime place I would like to go back and try more dishes
Asian Sensation! What a joyous little cafe! Serving up modern Asian cuisine and brunch on the weekend from 8am. We sampled three dishes:
*garlic pork sandwich with siricha mayo, pickled Asian slaw, side salad and fries
*aka egg slut - coddled eggs, warm potato cream and soldiers (actual name of dish as per menu!!)
*black forest Hong Kong crispy egg waffle stack
We loved all of it. The menu was creative and interesting and it was hard to make a choice. The egg slut was such a comfort food dish and the pork sanga was more spicy than garlicky but still a good eat. My fave was the Black Forest waffle generously topped with fresh raspberries, strawberries, grapes, mascarpone, chocolate icecream and choc cookie crumbs. The fresh berries made all the difference and it wasn't overly sweet.
Pachipachi is definitely a cafe I will revisit soon!
us four hungry girls came from uni for dinner here one night and it was awesome. we came at 6 and the place was empty. it soon filled up very quickly so get in early if you can it's not a big restaurant either. the four of us ordered four starters, four mains and four drinks we were hungry so there was a good gauge on a lot of the menu.
for drinks we were very cliche and ordered a different frappe each! each frappe was delicious. not too sweet, good flavors and served iced cold. they looked super cute too. my favorite was the taro which isn't a flavor you see quite often.
onto the starters we had the saikoro steak cubes which had good flavor and the sauce was quite nice. it was our least favorite entree because it was quite tough and a little overcooked. the takoyaki was piping hot and a good choice. not the best i've had but you can't really go wrong with ordering takoyaki! same thoughts with the chicken karaage, nicely fried and tender very hard to go wrong. the star was the squid tentacles! HUGE huge portion. crispy, delicious and memorable. would of happily ordered five of these.
for the mains we had chicken nanban which we loved. very different and nice fusion of flavors. the signature mains doesn't come with rice and this definitely needed rice. we had duplicates of the katsu chicken curry, it was a safe choice but it was meh. lastly the mi goreng was surprisingly quite nice in comparison to other shops.
it was a fantastic night which left us feeling very full and satisfied! we loved that the menu had a huge variety so we can try a lot of different things. it was quite consistent all round but i would probably go for one of the signature mains and less starters next time, they were so filling. love this place great food, efficient service and lovely waitresses!
Have always driven past this restaurant but decided to try this place while catching up with some girlfriends.
Pachi Pachi is a relatively small restaurant but with a cozy feel. We were there for lunch and the restaurant wasn't crazily packed (thankfully) and they had a nice variety of menu choices. Service was relatively quick and the servers friendly.
The taro latte and matcha latte were pretty yum and the food arrived about 30 minutes later. All the food looked great. Some friends had the ramen (the broth was pretty nice) while the rest of us had bento boxes. The bento boxes all come with a gyoza (nice), some tempura veg (mainly sweet potato) and one tempura prawn (which was more thick batter than prawn), as well as edamame beans, salad and rice. The chicken on both was moist and delicious (one katsu the other karaage) but overall, I thought the bento boxes were pretty average (and greasy).
I would return to Pachi Pachi to try the other dishes. It wasn't the worst Japanese food out there but there are better Japanese food out there.
Great food for the whole family, great service, will be there again. Angry Birds and Laksa and the traditional Pad Thai are a hit, fresh and tasty and great value for money.
It was a second time went to Pachi Pachi. This time for breakfast as they just launched a breakfast menu. I came with my wife. ordered Pulled Beef with Hollandaise sauce and Crispy bacon with waffle, banana (Hong Kong style). The waffle was different as bacon added to the sweetness of whole dish. My wife was really enjoyed. Then the waiter brought my order which pulled beef. It was so good. The hollandaise sauce really so creamy and make the meal even tastier. Taro drink always the trade mark of Pachi Pachi. Anyone come and eat at Pachi Pachi, they should try Taro drink.

Japanese eatery with an exotic menu selection. They are in the process of introducing a breakfast menu so I thought to try one of the dishes that was on the new menu. I had the brick toast which is toast crust stuffed with ice cream, cream, fresh fruit cuts, strawberry jam and honey. A beautiful summer taste. I had a taro frappe with my breakfast which was refreshingly sweet and flavorsome
Japanese food with a modern ambience. This place does provide a nice version of traditional Japanese dishes. They also have drinks like taro latte although I find the latte to be a bit watery.
Ordered takeaway lunch - takoyaki, yaki udon, veg tofu don, beef curry. All dishes were delicious, well cooked, and well flavoured. Prices were great, $37 for everything. This is a regular of mine.
One of my favourite places in Perth. Cannot fault it. Great selection of food and drink on the menu. And the matcha and taro lattes, pure heaven. Tasty dishes, great portion sizes and great price. Great service. Great great great ;)
Enjoy it for what it is; a twist to the traditional asian dishes. Really like their chicken namban and taro latte. Don't come here if you're looking for authentic Asian food. The food is more pan-asian but still very enjoyable if you're not a food snob.
Breakfast here we come..........Let's try. Quite busy but the service is still Amazing!
Crispy Hong Kong Egg Waffle Stack $17.50
Grilled Garlic Pork Sandwich $17.50
Flat white (Toby's Estate) large cup was very was good . Recommended.
Let me tell you, this is one of my FAVOURITE Asian cafe in perth. My lovely cell leader discovered this and in no time it became everyone's to go spot! I've been here over a gazillion time because of their lunch deals ($10 a meal!) but unfortunately they took it away and the dishes are slightly pricey for me to be going so often.
Smallish eatery with one massive door. The food was delicious - we had the barramundi symphony and the chicken yaki udon. The barramundi was lightly fried and had the perfect amount of seasoning and spice. Also had the matcha latté which was lovely, frothy and had a good amount of matcha in it. Prices were very reasonable and service was spot on. I forgot to take photos of the food sadly ..
Little cozy eatery committed to deliver more than just wonderful Asian favourite dishes; also combining the evidential focus on barista made well frothed creamy coffee/ taro/ matcha latte (tried them all and top notch locally roasted fresh coffee beans/ flavours with very important nicely frothed milk!
Clearly demonstrated above & beyond customer service, from start to finish delivering sincere, attentive and friendly service eg checked on the table and guests, offer to top up water etc plus special birthday music played for birthday guest with free decorated sundae! Consider the very affordably priced menu; this eatery is certainly giving you more value than bargained for like a cherry on top!
Overall, photos speak a thousand words, or do see for yourself by visiting the cafe. Lunch menu bento sets so much value with quality great for weekend lunch dates.
Regular or seasonal menu try the special seafood laksa, tonkotsu chashu pork ramen, barramundi & eggplant curry, Thai larb salmon or chicken, Buddhas garden for vegetables, Pachi pineapple & cashew fried rice add chicken.. Top fav is the tempura prawns with special Japanese mayo & candied walnut just heavenly matched. These are our personal favourites so far.
Love these guys! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Their prawn special is AWESOME and they have a great range of different food. Green tea latte is also different but delicious.
Cannot fault this place. Everything is delicious! We went as a family recently and tried about seven dishes. I fell in love with the silken tofu - amazing! Even the non tofu fans could see no fault. The ingredients used are fresh and good quality! Love love love.
UPDATE: feb 16
The Teriyaki Salmon is divine! Love the sauce and the serving size is very generous!
A small local eatery with fantastic staff. The Taro Latte is so good -even if you don't like Taro, give it a shot! Food was fresh and the serving was quite filling. It's a great place to have a 2-4 person catch up.
Fantastic little restaurant!! Lovely staff very attentive and friendly.
We had a birthday dinner booked for 10 people and they looked after us so well it was great they even gave the birthday girl a special desert for free :)
Orange beef was yumm!!!
As well as the angry birds!!!
The whole fish looked Devine!!
Spicy ramen was good and the Japanese beef entree was lovely!!!!!
Chicken teriyaki was great, very traditional in flavour lovely!!
Wouldn't recommend the chilli chicken it's quite bland with just a whole heap of fried chillies needs some veggies or something
We tried their angry birds because of all the reviews,we found that it has a ginger taste into it and not much chilli. I am in love with their spicy ramen and fried tentacles. We will be back to try more.

Been here once on a Mon( or Wed) night few weeks ago, the place was pleasantly quite and our waitress was very attentive and helpful with our order, We had:
1) Barramundi & Eggplant Red Curry and thought it was really tasty and would have it again.
2) The Pan Fried Duck in Rice Paper Roll – that was disappointment as there was barley any duck in the rolls
3) Lastly, we had some sort of dumpling that was ok but in my opinion was noting special than a store bought one ,,, thou I liked the sauce they came with so created my own at home by mixing Hoisin Sauce, Sesame Oil & Soy Sauce
Hope u find my review helpful ,, happy eating
Amazing food amazing service...!
Laksa was so so good. The best in Perth so far..! And can't go past their taro lattes..! So creamy and dreamy haha
Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a decent Asian style meal with good service.
Small and cozy place. Love the spicy ramen.. If I could lick the bowl, i would lol. Not a big fan of the angry birds.. It's a little bit too salty. But the ramen was sooo good. Will definitely come back again to eat the spicy ramen and the others
It's rare for me to say I have nothing to fault, but with Pachi Pachi the food is absolutely faultless! I'm not a fan of 'fusion' food but Pachi has definitely swayed me. Generous portions for all dishes, punchy flavours and great variety! I loved everything I tried. I would highly recommend the Angry Birds, Barramundi Symphony and Chef's Special Ramen! The staff were excellent and very accommodating too!
This is an amazing place to eat at, its only been open a few months and i am so glad they opened! This is now one of my new favourites, this place serves modern asian cuisine... Mostly Japanese and Malay. The angry bird chicken was so so good, chicken fried rice amazing and the wontons yum!! People are raving about the spicy ramen so i will have that next time. The service at this place is amazing as well, very friendly!
Absolutely love this place. Came here for lunch. Delicious, affordable food, wonderful service. The matcha and taro frappes were the bomb! Would definitely come back !
Fantastic food & great service. We are very regular and loving it. Food is very affordable and loads of choices in the menu to choose. Keep up the great job!
Mamma Mia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Small modern Asian resto fit for big appetites! If you're into Japanese/Chinese cuisine this is the place to try out. We had the Chicken nanban ($16) Pachi pachi style curry laksa ($13.8) Shoyu ramen ($13.8) Matcha latte ($4) and Iced choc ($6.50) which all tasted amazing. Balanced flavors and reasonable pricing as the servings were big enough to share between 2-3 people. Friendly staff and great customer service. 👌🏼
What a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, every dish we had was delicous. I recommend trying the taro latte or the matcha frappe. We had the dumpling starters and squid tentacles, the tentacles were a bit tough but the dumplings were delicous. For mains we had the laksa, angry birds, japanese katsu curry, and tonkotsu ramen. All delicous dishes coming up to less than $25 per head. We were greeted with a smile and really friendly staff. A cool modern decor too. A really nice night out, definitely coming back here again!
Service was friendly though only one staff was on her feet and doing everything. Food was not too bad and portion was a good size for what I paid for my lunch. Looking at dinner menu and seem a bit expensive for the venue.
Great meals and large serves had a great selection and enjoyed them all also the taro latte was a new experience for me and well worth it laska yum, gyoza yum yum
Exactly what I was hoping for! Ordered barramundi with chilli, garlic and ginger, seafood laksa, fried oysters and angry birds. So good! Every dish was tasty, fresh, nicely presented, full of punchy Asian flavours and well executed. Reasonable prices. Service was also friendly. Will definitely come back again.
A great place and great food. A small restaurant with only a few tables, so I recommend booking a table if there are a few of you going. The service is lovely, great music playing and its a BYO!
I'll definitely be back :)
I would sersiously ignore any negative feedback about this little gem, top place & great value.
For anyone who is planning to go to Pachi Pachi you have to order the matcha frappe. It's been over a week and I'm still thinking about how tasty it was.
The food is quite reasonable in price for what they are offering. I ordered the Malaysian curry laksa which had a good soup and I loved how instead of the usual shredded chicken you get a slice chicken which is like the chatsu in ramen but using chicken instead. The egg yolk was also soft boiled rather then fully cook.
We also ordered their angry chicken which was at a good level of spice with good flavours. We also ordered a mee goreng but I'd say that was just average.
Really good customer service and pachipachi is definitely on my to go back to place.
They have the best taro latte I've ever tried! And their angry bird signature dish has blown me away, literally the best fried chicken in town😍
Amazing food and taro latte. Beef tataki is the best we've ever had in perth. Kao spicy ramen and signature dish angry bird were very very yummy too! Kept wondering how did I missed this place when I've been a regular of harvest espresso which is just opposite to this place. I will definitely be back with my friends and family again.
New favourite place! Can't go wrong! Always ordered the orange beef with steam rice and taro latte.. oh and the beef tataki is delish! We go here when we want something delicious and quick to eat :)
Highly recommend the angry birds!! Nice little place with mostly japanese with some chinese and thai cuisine. Great service and food came out fast 👍🏼👍🏼
Once you enter the restaurant, you won't feel like in the typical asian restaurant. It feels more like brunch/cafe restaurant. We ordered angry chix, beef tataki, chicken noddle soup, ice coffee latte and taro latte. We loved them all. But the noddle soup was rather bland. I like the lattes, but my husband would prefer stronger coffee for his latte. But overall well recommended and we are definitely coming back.

I cant not boost Pachi"s rating to the max after tonight's dinner with friends. We're all happy with every single dish we had. Prawn & Lime Leaves with Golden Egg Floss, Genghis Khan, The Ikko Sama, Angry Bird, Chicken Nanban were all delicious. My fav was Ikko Sama (tangy and refreshing) and Prawn & Lime Leaves with Golden Egg Floss, so good! Afterwards, we ordered Sticky Date Pudding and Chocolate HK Egg Waffle Stack. Love the SDP, it's probably one of the best I've ever had. 2 scoops of good ice cream were given, generous! What I dislike: whipping cream on the side (not a big fan of). Chocolate HK Egg Waffle Stack was as good as Matcha one we had during breakfast time, to die for. I cant wait to bring other group to dine at Pachi" next time!

Breakfast dishes were awesome... We had Eggs Benedict with Yakiniku Beef, Sumo Size Breakfast and "Black Forest" Crispy HK Egg Waffle Stack. Yakiniku Beef was so juicy and full of flavour. Chilli Cheese Kranksy on Sumo Size Breakfast was good. Black Forest Egg Waffle Stack was perfectly balance and soooo good. Matcha Latte was perfect. Taro Latte was as nice as before but it's now a bit too heavy for me. Cappuccinos were so so. I'd definitely go back for their breakfast. Highly recommended!
-----------------------------------------------------
Been wanting to try Pachi" for a while, finally got the chance tonight. We ordered Angry Bird, Barramundi Symphony, Kao's Secret Spicy Ramen & Taro Latte to share. Angry Bird was supposed to be a spicy dish (or at leas that's what I thought coz it's got 3 chillies symbol), but i found it not spicy at all, disappointed😞. However, the chicken was perfectly cooked. Hubby liked Barramundi dish. It's a huge fillet, not fishy and topped with a lot of spring onions and fried ginger. Kao's Secret Spicy Ramen was okay. Not sure if they make their own noodles or bought? It's (again) not spicy and got quite strong coriander smell, which I don't really like, but still enjoyable to eat. Total cost was $63 for 2. Not cheap, but serving size were generous and fair. Will come back and try other dishes next time.

Over the years, fusion cuisine hasn’t exactly been a highlight of my dining experiences; I’d describe it as mostly dubious dissonance, generally unsatisfying, and sometimes just plain weird. So I’m glad to report that our dinner on Saturday night in Vic Park at ‘modern Asian cafe’ Pachi Pachi was pretty great. The menu features mostly Japanese dishes (teriyaki, katsu curry, udon, ramen and more), a bit of Thai and Chinese...
I had the salmon salad which was nice. Wanted to try the taro latte but unfortunately they didn't have it when I went there.................
Great food, great service, reasonable price in a small cafe setting with atmosphere. I had 3 servings of Beef Tataki I enjoyed it so much! Ramen and coffees were excellent too. Highly recommended, not too many places like this in Perth.
Decent, affordable $10 lunch set. Oyakodon was a total disaster but the ramen (salad?) was surprisingly delicious. Takoyaki was meh but the fried squid tentacles with matcha chilli salt looks interesting.
Lovely little restaurant. Quiet, cool interior, very welcoming and nice service. And the food was delicious. The sauces and flavour combination of the takoyaki was divine, the salt on the squid was perfect and the squid was so crispy, the lunch special ramen were very interesting and smooth - so easy to eat and the Taro Latte, oh wow, so melt in your mouth!
And the lunch special prices were great, we got plenty of food for only $20 each!!
Firstly you guys may want to google what BUKKAKE means before calling one of your dishes that...
Service was friendly, love the wide range of drinks on offer, highlight was the squid tentacles as the seasoning on top was delish-matcha chilli salt I think.
I had the Kao's secret recipe ramen-way too spicy, literally jus tasted like chilli flavoured water. As for the noodles-it was average. It tasted like 2 minute noodles after a while as it became soggy very very quickly.
I would go back there, but not for the ramen.
Been here several times already. Great service and food. I really enjoyed the simple beef tataki. Beef was tender and thinly sliced. Also, ordered several dishes and enjoyed all of it. Special note: Must try the Matcha frappe!
Came here for dinner on a Sunday, staff was friendly and courteous. Ordered their signature dish Angry Birds, don't be scared by the spicy rating - it's delicious with a good amount of kick without the burn. The Buddha's garden and pan fried onigiri was alright. Overall decent food but slightly pricey. Though I would come again to try the other signature dishes and probably one of the $10 lunch specials.
Serving sizes are good, the flavour in all the dishes are brilliant. Only living around the corner we have been coming here more regularly and are never disappointed
10 out of 10 for the sticky date pudding!!! Just perfectly yum..!!
We had the angry bird for main and it was just simply tasty and delicious.
Would definitely come back.
Thanks to Urbanspoon, found this little tug away while looking at places to eat in Vic Park. It's a shop that's easy to miss while driving along Albany Highway. Tried the jap curry $10 lunch special, love it! Try the Ramen tonight love it too!! The Matcha latte was verrrry good. Has a bit of bitter after taste, expected of the roasted green tea. Looking forward to the signature dish angry bird, salmon salad & orange beef. It's a nice comfy modern clean place. With friendly cheerful staff. Free bottle tap water. Table service. Thumbs up!! :)))
Ikko Sama - Salmon and Citrus Salad. Superb! Right amount of sweet salty and citrus all in a bundle!
Food is amazing! Very friendly staff. Sat out the front in big comfy lounge chairs! Was great! Must try!
Very tasty menu, with a large range of different meals. Pretty chilled vibe and it's really good value for the price. The service is quick friendly. Love it!
Very Tasty and Reasonably Priced. Went here for a quick dinner with friends- loved the casual vibe and the food was yummy. The best part is the price! I had a starter and main and it came to $18- and i definitely did not leave hungry. Would recommend this place to anyone but especially good for families, casual lunches/dinner and even small parties.
Lovely atmosphere with a casual setting of the cafe. Be it a catch up dinner or brunch, this place is definitely a must go! Very tasty and interesting asian fusion food with friendly customer service from the boss himself, what more can we ask for? :) thumbs up!
A must go to eatery in vic park. Myself and wife went on Sunday night. Already the place was full. A good sign in my view. We were able to grab the 2 lounge chairs on the pavement. And the rest was joy. Great service absolutely yummy Asian fusion food. This place is new on the block, but already a hit. We will be back again and I highly recommend it as an alternative to the usual drab food overpriced same same places. Are mains were $13 and $16. Come on, that was 20 years ago. Do yourself a favour and visit..
Keep coming back for more. This place has the best Asian fusion food and the only place so far that I could find that serves goya champuru, cooked in authentic Okinawan style. Service is warm and friendly too. The hubs and I keep coming back for more and always leaving satisfied! Well done Pachi Pachi!
Recommend. Been here heaps. Tried beef and orange stir-fry tonight. Omg, seriously delicious.
-----16 Jan, 2015-----
A must!. Fantastic.
Love this place!. Best kept secret of Vic park!
Awesome food, drinks, service... the LOT!
Will definitely be back for more!
Delicious and casual. A lovely meal. Will be back, often!
Bombdiggity. All 3 dishes that came out.. Fresh, crisp & delicious. All you need.
New kid on the block!. Celebrated my birthday with a meal at Pachi Pachi and it definitely did not disappoint! Has to be one of the best Asian joints in Perth and I've certainly been looking! Between the 3 of us we ordered the classic chicken karage (yummy sauce and very flavourful marinade) and beef tataki (as simple as it gets but so delicious!) as entrées and fried Asian greens (again, really basic but super tasty), beef with cashews and tangy orange stir fry (my favourite! Interesting and complimentary combination), crispy barramundi and eggplant red curry (yum yum yum fish was cooked to perfection!), pork and ginger stir fry (hit all the right notes) and lastly the chicken pad Thai (was different to any pad Thai I've tried and was just as yummy and spiciness was perfect.) as mains. Even though we were famished, the servings were pretty generous and we had to concede defeat and doggybag the remaining food.
Of course we had to have dessert which came accompanied by a birthday serenade by Mu who is one of the owners. Dessert was sticky date pudding and berry and white chocolate spring rolls served with ice cream which were inhaled fairly quickly.
I have to give their coconut lychee smoothie a shout out! Words can not describe how inexplicably delicious, refreshing and thirst quenching it was!
Even though this is a brand new restaurant, you can tell the owner/chefs are well experienced as they ensure customers aren't kept waiting and each individual dish is given lotsa love when it's made (I should know, having ordered like a glutton!). Its a family run place which is always a good sign! And it prides itself on ensuring customer satisfaction as the chefs (husband and wife team) pop out to check up on you and the tastiness of the food! We even managed to interact with Pachi Pachi's tiny resident mascot baby Karina who won our hearts over with her little antics!
A definite family favourite with extremely reasonable prices. I have a feeling we're gonna have to queue to get in soon.

An amazing opening. We've just finished a splendid meal at Pachi Pachi on their third night open. This is a surprising restaurant, rendering Asian favourites with a fresh twist. All of our food was excellent. The entrees of Chicken Karaage and wontons were both delicious and served with interesting sauces. The main dishes we tried (for our table of four) were great - a hot green chicken curry with eggplant; garlic prawn tomato and egg stir-fry; the stir-fried chicken with cashews, mushrooms and goji berries was an interesting variation on a standard; and the chicken fried rice was delicious. Desserts were very good too - sticky date pudding and dazzling berry and white chocolate dumplings - which were amazing sweet spring rolls.
This cafe will only sit twenty people at most, so we are expecting to queue before long. The service was good (although our friendly waitress didn't have much English) and the atmosphere was just right - like a cosy yet trendy cafe in Victoria Park.
