Unpretentious, Delicious, Great value!
For a change of pace we popped into Pachi Pachi on a relaxing Sunday evening. The first thing you'll warm to is the cosy interior, funky yet casual ambience.
Service with a smile from the cute waitress (kawaii!!) who bopped along to the music the whole evening. You can just tell when people love their job!
We tried the Angry Birds at "Boss Level" (tender chicken drumetts laced with varying levels of hotness). These were very different to any other chicken we've tried in Perth, very fusion, huge serving size (we ended up taking away). Hot and spicy enough to challenge even the most seasoned tastebuds yet comfortably edible to have you coming back for more.
Next main dish was the Barramundi Symphony, crisp fried Barra fillet topped with ginger, garlic, chillies, scallions, coriander and seafood sauce. The texture was biscuit crispy as the crackle of my first bite echoed through the room, soon flooded with the intense fusion of quality ingredients. Filleted to perfection, you can scoff this down with no risk of fish bones slowing you down! I also loved the large size of the dish at a ridiculously affordable price!
The pineapple and vege fried rice was simply nice. Well fried without any sogginess. Well balanced against the superstar dishes we were already demolishing!
For drinks we had the Taro Latte which was perfect! This drink alone would be worth stopping by for. Super smooth, sweetly flavoursome without being hammered by sugar.
For dessert.. (Yes we had room for dessert cos we took away the Angry Birds) we had Black Forrest Hong Kong style waffles!! Omg.. This dessert topped off our dinner adventure with a generous serving of fresh berries swimming amongst not one but two mountainous scoops of chocolate ice cream, smothered over chewie HK style waffle balls.
Pachi Pachi?
Yummy Yummy!
I was heading somewhere else and walked past this place but liking the vibe that had come from it I went back and had my coffee there. Always on the hunt for something different on a menu I ordered Honey Brick toast as well. It was amazing I can’t wait to go back again. There is a version with chocolate but I don’t tend to eat chocolate unless it’s in a bar but I can imagine that must be good too.
The girl who served me was wonderful, very helpful and made me feel welcome.

Wonder Chinese New Year dinner....
The food was spectacular...Golden tempura prawns with melon and wasabi mayo; Whole fried barramundi with scallions, chilli and herbs; Kungfu spicy chicken drummettes; Sticky orange beef; tamarind pad thai; Matcha and taro frappes; and Teh Tarik (milk tea) pannacotta.
10/10 taste and reasonably priced :)
Blown away.
