Fantastic service !! Food was a taste sensation. Wines were worth every cent and the staff shared their amazing knowledge. My new favourite. I’ll be back !!
I’m unable to fathom the modest rating this place has. The food is truly excellent, the service first-class and the wine list extensive. The restaurant itself is quite delightful and is well set out. A seriously excellent restaurant.
Only came to this venue for drinks and dessert but really loved it. So lovely inside at the back of the restaurant overlooking the bhp side of the building. Nice comfortable seating with well spaced tables and aircon. My friend said his negroni was the best he’d had for a long time. My espresso martini was excellent. We had the beetroot macarons and strawberry parfait. Very keen to return for dinner.
Tucked within the historic facade of Perth's Brookfield Place lies The Heritage Wine Bar; a thoroughly modern drinking and dining experience. We love wine and we want you to love wine. In keeping with our 'everything for everyone' ethos we offer all of the bottles on our eclectic and considered list by the glass, carafe and to takeaway. Come for the wine and stay for the food. Our kitchen team have put together a selection of uncomplicated and sophisticated, locally focussed small and large plates specifically designed to complement our liquid offerings
A nice classy place to bring your significant other. The service was out of this world, with a vast selection of wines that can be ordered by the glass.

Since we last visited the Heritage it has had something of a makeover – no longer simply a bistro but now a wine store – with a great selection of wines in the shop area at the Terrace front of the place, as well as a wine bar with stools at the lovely marble counter and at the rear, looking out to Brookfield Place, the dining area. As well on the footpath on the Terrace a few tables sheltered by large umbrellas for a touch of al fresco drinking and eating.
I was really impressed with the Heritage, the ambiance was really nice quite New Yorkish. The service was faultless, the wine list impressive. The food was fantastic, we were a table of 4 & we shared 4 share plates then had our own mains. The men had the Wague rump cap, which can be quite tough, it was very tender and full of flavour. I had the gnocchi which was great. There were no complaints about the smoked chicken either. We finished off with a cheese platter and a nice red. It’s a bit on the pricey side but we will definitely go back again. We loved it.
We had some reservations about dining at the Heritage wine bar based on reviews read and friends who had been previously wines and dined but I have to say it was fabulous and we really enjoyed the service and food we sampled.
Firstly there are over 100 wines to choose from by the glass which is a nice change, this does come at a cost though and not a cheap experience.
Food wise we shared some small plates, the stand out dishes were the goose mouse, and smoked marrow. Both dishes full of flavour and something a little different. Happy to visit again 🤗
A slightly expensive but stylish Friday night pre-dinner or dinner venue. I was here for the former, which turned into the latter, for half our table. Wines were fabulous but I’ll budget for it next time.
We went here for lunch and it was actually pretty good. There were 8 of us in total and plenty of seats. Variety of nice wine to select... and the best thing is that they let you taste the wine first before you decide to have it. The food is really tasty (entree, main, dessert). Staffs were very friendly and polite. Nice atmosphere. Will definately come back again.
An amazing evening with beautiful food and paired wines. We had the set menu paired with both the global and Australian wines (one each!). The freshly shucked Albany oysters with Geraldton wax and Smokey oil was unique and paired nicely with our bubbles. From there each dish flowed out of the kitchen with great service with nothing disappointing. As an strong supporter of Australian, primarily West Australian wines, I’m sad to say that the Global pairing won out just slightly as they paired so exceptionally well with the dishes - but would have been just as happy if I didn’t know that and only ordered the Australian wines. Impressive meal and look forward to going back to try more of the food and wine options.
A great wine bar but the food is just ok...the services is good but definitely not a fine dining restaurant
Date night dinner for two. Wonderful atmosphere and very attentive staff with great knowledge of the menu. Food was absolutely delicious and the matching wines were fantastic! One of us had the non-alcoholic drinks pairing which was so interesting; great to have a variety of beer, cocktails and 'wines'. More than enough food, we went home full and happy. Thank you to all the staff!
Overall a really great experience, waiters and waitresses were really friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
Entrees and Main was delicious, our favourites being the squid ink dish and the eggs on eggs.
Wine pairing was well worth the $75.00 and we ended up buying bottles.
Dessert was a bit of an anti climax however we were so full and a bit boozy we didn’t mind. 💯 will dine again.
I was tasked to find a restaurant for my Wingate Melbourne fund management team to host two dinners on 3 and 4 May. i finally settled on Heritage because it has a Private Dining Room which was perfectly for us for one of the nights. It was one of my best decision I had ever made.
Katy was fantastic - prompt reply, never too many questions when dealing with my booking, food menu and site inspection request.
Venue is great and very presentable.
Bruce, who was looking after us on both night, was very great.
The food and Wine was amazing.
The best part was, our clients loved it.
It was money well spent. Thank you.
2021 - Office Christmas Lunch. The set menu was great and even fussy eaters enjoyed pretty much everything. Service from Bruce was great.
2017 - We arrived just before 10pm Saturday night without a reservation. We were told to order quickly as the kitchen was closing but the service was fine. Very knowledgeable. All of our meals were great and these are some of the cheapest ( while still being fresh and tasty ) oysters in Perth - $30 per dozen.
We were a party of 3 for dinner and 4 for drinks, and although the food and wine were fantastic, the highlight was the quality and charisma of the staff. They were worth the visit on their own! A great place to feel welcome, entertained and well fed.
