Review Bar Lafayette - Perth

Lovely bar in Brookfield Place, with some very nice moody ambience & decor, various interesting lounge & seating areas. Staff were mostly very good, certainly professional & very busy, though bar was a little small to effectively serve the demand promptly. Music with live DJ was good, but too loud throughout - needs some quiet areas. Very pricey drinks, but worth a visit. Didn't try any food.

Loved the vibes! Had very Jigger & Pony (Bar in Singapore) vibes without paying too much of a premium. Had the Hachi (yellow cocktail) and taste-wise, it was right up my alley. Yummy and tangy as expected, but didn’t give me that much of a kick. Alcohol performance was more like a mocktail hahaha. If you’re gna walk in, do so before 630pm - else it’s hard to get a table!

Nice spot for a drink and to listen to live music on a Saturday night. Shout out to Sam Nafie for bringing in the vibes.

What a beautiful venue. Heaps of great textures and nooks to chat in, great drinks selection and a really great place for some business and socialite networking in Perth.

Very disappointed with the service last night. We came after having dinner at another restaurant on St. George’s terrace and was told when we tried to enter that the venue was at capacity by the security guard when it was very clear that it wasn’t. We asked how long the waiting time would be and he just shrugged. When we walked away, we looked back to see him let two separate couples in after telling us they could not accept anyone else. Really poor form.

Has become more go to spot for after work drinks. Extensive menu for spirits and class bartenders! Was also here for a Christmas function, the young asian girl (sorry I forgot her name) was looking after us and was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and we all had a great time. Please pass our compliments to her for her great service. I’ll be back at the bar soon!

A lovely spot in the city. Great drinks, great vibes and a sweet time await you. I'd be remiss to miss visiting Lafayette every week for a dose of good vibes 🤟🏽

Came here with a few friends for something different over a month ago from the moment we walked in we were being judged.. Drinks took forever to arrive staff slow, security at the front rude no people skills that’s why there security…. The place inside is really nice food was good but wouldn’t come back if anything overrated

Absolutely amazing night!!! The staff (especially the manager who's name I have now forgotten) went above and beyond! Will recommend this place to everyone. P.s. Also had the best espresso martini of my life here

Great bar but after a visit on Saturday night where the outdoor area is seemingly restricted to smokers only, I doubt I’ll head back. We did ask for a non smokers section and were told only inside was non smokers only. So to enjoy a drink outdoors we also had to endure the 3 smokers around us as well. Apart from simple courtesy, patrons with health conditions such as asthma should be taken into consideration. I was very disappointed at the lack of outdoor options for those wanting a breath of fresh air, not a breath of second hand smoke.

Last Saturday I celebrated a special birthday at Bar Lafayette. The venue was perfect- we hired the Grand Staircase Room. The food and drink were excellent but the service topped it all. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular Luma our waitress who was outstanding, and Brendon who helped me organise the evening. Thank you so much it was a very memorable night. Highly recommend this venue.

After hearing great things about the place we decided to try it out last night , we ordered a Singapore sling and on the waiters recommendation another cocktail and a glass of coke . the Singapore sling was really bad , not sure if it was a pre made cocktail or if the barman had stuffed up but was undrinkable .. the recommended sweet cocktail by the waiter was really bitter .. and the coke was flat not a single bubble so we took the drinks back .. the staff were very nice and offered to remake the 2 drinks and a new coke .. on there recommendation for a sweet cocktail we got 2 of the watermelon cocktails and a new coke .. the drinks came out looked great the water went to open the coke until i asked to feel the bottle it was really warm. after saying no dont bother the waiter was trying to convince me that warm coke just open but over ice if fine .. now not sure who ever decide to go this way in your buisness but they need there head read .. hot soft drinks go flat instantly over ice .. anyone that has worked in a bar should know this !! now the 2 sweet watermelon drinks the 2 people both took a drink at the same time and both spat it out .. explaining it tasted like sucking on a lemon.. we went next door and ordered drinks that were fine just to wash away the taste of the crap that was made and severed to us not once but twice .. will not recommend going for a drink .. the place and staff were nice but they really need to learn how to make cocktails and how to serve soft drinks

What can I say. Brendan has this place running like a well oiled machine.We had a private room for our sons 30th last night.The staff are exceptional,especially mine host Brendan and the lovely Emily who kept the drinks flowing,nothing was too much trouble.The barstaff are all great and the cocktails are amazing.This place has a great atmosphere and I would highly recommend it.

I wanted to give Brendan and his team a very big thank you for making my 40th birthday celebration a fantastic night. The whole process was completely professional and friendly at the same time. We were welcomed at the beginning of the night as old friends, and the whole staff were friendly and the service was first class for the entirety of the night. The food and drinks were outstanding. Bar Lafayette is a first rate 'classy' place and would recommend it to anyone that wants an atmospheric, chilled, classy and quality experience

Bar Lafayette is fast becoming my regular spot for Friday night drinks. When my friend and I walk in we are always greeted with a smile and a "hello" from all the staff. We tend to sit at the same spot and from the moment we sit down we are well looked after. The staff provide amazing service and the range of wines and cocktails are to die for.

Every time I come here the service is impeccable. The food has always been great and it's served till quite late which is nice. The cocktails are the best I have had in Perth. I was in on Friday and night and just explained what I felt like in a drink- the bartender quickly made me some delicious. Love this place!

The cocktails here are, in my opinion, the best in Perth. They're original, with quality ingredients and presented beautifully. To top it off the setting is lovely whether you're after formal drinks or somewhere you can have a couple and actually hear yourselves talking... and the staff are fantastic! Always my favourite!

After the ballet my son and I decided to have cocktails and a bite to eat at the bar. The greeting was very welcoming � . The service, cocktails and shared plate was fabulous. Will be back.

Great little place, good live music, only problem was they had different music playing inside and it was the clash of the music... bit annoying.

Service was amazing, premises had a great vibe about it and it wasnt loud and noisy. We could have a conversation without yelling at each other. An amazing place and would definitely visit again

The cocktails are amazing, there's a great choice, lovely spaces both inside and out...and the staff are both knowledgeable and attentive. On top of all this there is an interesting snacks selection, all beautifully fresh and tasty. I love this place.

You really can experience the best atmosphere, service, food and drinks all in one place, every time you go back - right here at Bar Lafayette! A big thanks To Brendon & Stephen for making my birthday celebration a great one!

The staff went above and beyond to fit our group of 12 in for food and drinks on a Friday night. We were given the option to make a group tab or pay individually, as we go. The food was really great and the group was happy with their drinks. The only suggestion I would make is providing jugs of water rather then individual glasses. We will be returning.

Fantastic service, my cocktail was absolutely amazing (Watermelon Millionaire I think it was called) the ambiance of this bar is one of a kind for Perth - definitely a hidden treasure!

Fantastic cosy bar with great vibe, fantastic wine and cocktails, mouth watering selection of tapas. Live music certain nights, friendly and polished staff. Brendon who is one of the owners is most hospitable and makes everyone welcome and feel special, time and time again. Fantastic for small functions and great catch up in CBD.

Thursday drinks for 3 people. Very patient waitress when we decided to move tables. Excellent drinks and pork sliders!! A wee bit pricey but superb location and decor. Live music we could have listened to all evening. We will be back👍Thank you
