On the whole not a bad experience. We were looking for Indian food close to our accommodation in Adelaide Tce & this was just a stroll away. Our curries were both spiced well with good heat & generous portions. My spiced cauliflower gravy seemed a little thick. Basmati rice was fluffy & separate, bread was passable but wasn't as flaky as we were hoping for
Holidaying in Perth for a few days but ate dinner here twice as it was so good the first time we had to go back! Delicious chicken tikka for entree, and we tried a few different mains which were all full of flavour.
With not many restaurants near the large hotels in Adelaide Tce, we thought we would try this Indian restaurant for a light dinner on a Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dishes and value for money we received. We enjoyed popcorn chicken nibbles and two Southern Indian curries. We enjoyed our own wine that brought with it a small charge. Overall a pleasant experience and the chef and staff were friendly and engaging.
Delicious food, authentic plates, friendly staff.
We got a Scoopon with entre, 2 mains, wine and dessert.
We ordered the vege jalfrezi, chicken korma, onion bhajis, garlic naan and steamed rice.
Service was friendly and regular - no waiting around. The quality of the dishes was fantastic. The Samosas, Onion Bhaji and the Beef vindaloo were amazing
Great authentic food from South India. I have tried goat biryani, very good, full of flavor, really rich and yummy. Highly recommended. Nice place.
We went as a group with a groupon, and it was good value. The food was very nice and the portions suitable. They are good at recommending both non-spicy and very spicy items.
Bought a Groupon for dinner. The service and food were good but the servings seemed small. The wait staff were polite but I could sense a difference in their attitude between us and the other diners since we opted for a discounted voucher meal (Groupon). The menu for dinner is a bit pricy ( without concession). It's probably a good idea to try their cheap lunch special and Thali but best not to waste money on dinner.
Very nice little Indian restaurant. Dishes are well prepared with lots of flavor. The vege samosas (4 pieces) were excellent and we were glad we only ordered one entree.
Main dishes are quite large. We ordered one beef and one chicken dish with a side of plain rice and a couple of naan breads. All dishes were served in good time and the staff were friendly and attentive without being annoying. If you are looking for a nice, reasonably priced meal in Perth, this place fits the bill.
Really surprised with the low rating for Aachi. Had dinner with a few colleagues on their recommendation. Shared a few entrees, the 65 chicken and the sheekh kebab were delish. I had the goat curry for main with we shared some naan and rice, this was the best curry I've had in a long time. The meat was tender and delicious.
All in all, it's not a luxurious joint I'd bring a first date but if you'd like some decent Indian food, here is your spot.
Some reviews had poor services, ours was excellent.

Well of course, I can't compare any food anywhere outside India with India. There will be difference, there has to be differences. From the climate, to the water to the spices to the vegetables to the meat and so many other things would not be exactly same as India. Even in India, it is so versatile that you go to different city and the food tastes different. There is no universal good or bad food, it depends on our individual preferences. Out of quite a few of the Indian restaurants I have tried in Perth and it's suburbs, this is definitely one of the best!! 🥰😍
It wasn't good few years back what I have heard but when I went and had their Biryani, it was magnificent! Loved it. Also the Dhosa, Kerala paratha and Samosas was great, fresh. The staffs are friendly.
Went again after few days for a takeaway and the restaurant was full. So I had to wait and I have no problem with that. The staff was constantly seeing if I was okay and told me well upfront that I have to wait. Then got the food and the taste was the same; good! 🤍🤍
Highly recommended, would surely visit again.

Nobody in the place at 6:30pm on a Wednesday, we thought about leaving, waited a while for staff and a menu, finally gave an order. The food was magic, marvellous tastes. We were knocked over by the flavours. We will be back. It is BYO which also helps.
Our first visit and absolutely loved it! Dosas were amazing!
Delicious food, great service. The crab curry (Nandu) was outstanding and so were the chicken dishes. Definitely would visit again.
