Up there with the best breakfast spots in Perth. Awesome service, perfect coffee, great food. Highly recommended!
Once again Mary St hit all the marks today! These guys work as good as a well oiled machine. I Café a lot in Perth and also work in the Coffee business. It's not an easy gig however. Without fail each time i vist I'm overwhelmed by the sheer great service they deliver. It's a delightful experience with a great vibe with a side amazing baked goods & food that make me drool with my jaw to the floor. It's so badass to see a local business thriving. Their hard work of baking fresh and delivering a top quality product pays off. Hand in hand with a cup of coffee is a recipe that doesn't fail. Big thanks to the team for making my day and pastry dreams come true. #Favoritestopintown
Pretty decent cups of coffees
Great coffe and breakfast! This is my second visit trying the chicken on buttermilk pancake with peanuts maple syrup chilli and fried egg. Really tasty, although I kinda wished they give me another egg and it would be perfect. Will come back again for sure
The food is absolutely fantastic so lovely and tasty! Full flavor, fresh, well presented and hearty. On top of that the service is fantastic. Their is an extremely lovely handsome Asian gentleman that I've been served by every time I've been and every time I am meet with warm, knowledgeable, enthusiasm and a kind smile. It's just the right amount of hassle and bussel. Everything on the menu is fantastic! You really cant make a bad choice. Thanks guys.
Had lunch here with a friend. I had the confit duck leg with green curry. Very enjoyable. Will be back soon to try the rest of the menu. Great breakfast/brunch place
Love this place. Always do a nice coffee. Really like their, doughnut, pies and the waffles with fried chicken. Service always good. Friendly and helpful.
We had a delicious lunch of baked eggs and a yum salad of sorts. The service was a bit slow at first. Coffee is hit and miss here, and so was my smoothie on this occasion.
Tried the special halloween donut and it had a pillowy texture and not overly sweet. This location can be very busy on weekday mornings so I'd suggest more of a grab-and-go situation.
🍩 I had heard wonderful things about Mary St Bakery and I was not left disappointed. A nice little spot to grab a bite to eat or a coffee and “treat” to go. We tried a Cruffin and a Lemon Maple Syrup with Pistachio (?) donut plus a couple of coffees. The treats were so delicious, it’s hard to decide what to get! Spoilt for choice.
☕️ The coffee was mighty fine, albeit we had to wait 25 minutes to get them.
💵 You get what you pay for. The treats were $5-$6 each, the coffee were $4.50 each I believe.
🙋🏻♀️Service was meh. The lady that worked the register was more worried about being emo than offering better customer service, but the dude that actually served the coffees knew how to smile and use manners so he gets a gold star.
If you’ve read my reviews before you know how I feel about good customer service.
🍃 Really chilled, light place to chill. Music is not too loud, enough seating, not packed in. You can sit inside or out.
👨👩👦👦 Family friendly.
🚘 I tried to go here for a Friday lunch but being unfamiliar with the area found it too hard to find parking along or down the side streets nearby. I circled a few times, trust me. I found early mornings (like 7am) are much better for parking close by.
👍🏻 A great place to stop in at if you’re meandering your way up or down Beaufort St. Food and drinks were awesome, will certainly be back.
Didn’t enjoy the service but I loved the food. The corn fritter was actually croquettes and they tasted soooo good. Fried chicken was nice and pancake fluffy however some bites of pancake tasted soapy, not sure how much baking powder they put in it. The donut was really big and slightly dense but the peanut butter caramel glaze tasted absolutely delicious. We also had malted milk milkshake, not too sweet which was good for my liking.
A bustling cafe tucked in Highgate. It is crowded with patrons especially on weekends. My favorite on the menu is definitely the buttermilk pancake with fried chicken. The portion is huge and if you are not in for a filling meal, share it with your friends.
