The best hotdog place I’ve ever went to! Brought my friends at this place and it didn’t disappoint us. We enjoyed the food, music, and ambience. They also got boardgames too! Loved it!

We were invited along last week to Wassup Dog in Royal Street, East Perth, by owner Jules to try out a new breakfast dish they have on the menu – they open from 6AM each morning and stay open till 3PM Monday to Wednesday and to 9PM on other days – so are a great option for the workers in the area looking for a breakfast, lunch and dinner option.
Want to see the best hotdog in the town?..
Here it is. Frenchman with juicy beef sausage, cheddar and camembert, drizzled with honey. You pair it all with Milky Stout icy beer and you are set up with lunch!
This eatery is quite near to where we stay and we have received a few flyers in the letterbox. Haven't been always a big fan of the sausage sizzle, but what theses guys have done is to transform the typical Aussie sausage sizzle to be something that would be quite memorable. Their chips and special blend of chilli is also very delicious. Definitely a must try! I have been there about three times as they are always open till late which makes it so convenient for us when we are after something delicious on a lazy day. You have to try out their specials which do change quite regularly. I'm quite particular with food as you can see with my other reviews but this place definitely gets a thumbs up!
The relaunch has been a great addition would recommend trying it out if you haven't I think two drinks and two big meals for under $50 is pretty good
Saw this place on Insta and was hanging out to get there for a feed. Super cute, small, casual hangout with sick beats and a really good feel to it. I had the vegan special dog and my partner had the American dream dog. Flavours were awesome! There was zero left of each by the time we left. All dogs come with chips so prices for a feed are super reasonable. We each had a coke, but my partner saw a sign saying you can byo - will definitely be bringing a few beers next time for sure (next time being next week).
Have eaten here twice, second time with my wife. Hotdogs are delicious. Have tried 2 flavours both were generous with toppings and tasty. Green curry sauce with meatballs and chilli jam/chutney was yums. Green tea latte was pretty good. Fries and garlic aioli also done well. Place was tight as expected in East Perth but well laid out with nice vibe . Friendly customer service; owner was attentive and polite. For the price and a hearty meal cannot be faulted.
Friendly service and yummy hotdogs. The fries were delicious and some garlic sauce on side. All hot dogs can be made GF.
Average price $14 for hot dog and chips :)
Recently due to the venue's promotion, they've been giving out free hot dogs for the Last two Mondays - one for beef and the other for chicken. The hot dogs were nice especially the beef (maybe cause I like red meat better). They were each beautifully loaded with toppings of their own thus made each free dog, a hearty free meal.
Solid food, reasonable prices, a few food options done well. Grand homemade chilli sauce. Fries done well, hand cut, crispy and salty with every meal.
Really enjoyed the food here. Generous servings, very delicious and well presented. They make the sausages, chips and sauces in store! No frozen BS. Give the chili paste, pepper sauce and garlic mayo a go. Service is friendly and love the decor. One of the nicest cafes in East Perth. Would definitely come back!
Okay people when I say this place is amazing I am being 100% truthful. From the time we walked in we were greeted, served quickly and OMG the food is out of this world. My husband and I both tried the American dog and had chips and wow so freaking awesome. Also try a milkshake as it was really good also. Best gourmet hotdog place I have ever been too. So bring yourself and your family and friends and give these wonderful amazing people a place to make your day better with there friendly service and atmosphere and of course there food!
Hi all I would highly recommend the food and drinks lovely service and good at there jobs
Early Sunday morning, breakfast dog & Aussie dog, chips, no dramas. Both dogs/sausage were unexpectedly amazing. Chips cooked well, not over, not under. Should've got a coffee as no doubt they're also good.
Lovely food. Sorry forgot to take photos before starting.
This is my 2nd visit here. I had quite possibly the best sausage roll' I've ever tasted in my life. The only downside is that coffee takes a rather long time to be served. Still, this cafe deserves its 5* rating.
Breakfast is delicious and has options you could not get anywhere else. Coffee very good. Prices are fair. Friendly service.
But we were very sad to see poor hygiene in that place, please serve food from clean plates/hold the dining area clean/clean open kitchen better to help the appetite. Dear wassup family, good teamwork would help to organise these problems :)
