Once you find out this place is here, you’ll come back every day!! We tried the buffet at our Novotel hotel which left a little to be desired so we went here. Super friendly family service. Better coffee, less variety but the quality and taste of the food was far superior. Fresh made juices, and excellent omelettes, lovely porridge. And reasonably priced. The place is full of local workers, they know something!! We’ll be back!!

Very rarely do I meet a business owner who has the ability to give such a positive experience in such a short space of time. I hope he realises that his positive, friendly nature creates a ripple effect throughout Perth. He, and people like him, are the reason why Perth is such a beautiful place to live and visit. We are staying in a hotel nearby and we were looking for a cafe to have some breakfast. We were so lucky that Cafe E-sense was close by. The breakfast was terrific and a reasonable price. The food was freshly cooked, the poached eggs perfectly timed, and the sourdough toast was delicious. We will be back.

Great little cafe, quick good service & good food. Reasonable prices. Walked down from Pan Pacific hotel for breaky, who wanted to charge us $30 per person -not far at all. The Coffee Club had a 35min wait!

Had a quick meal here and it was quite average to be honest. The ribs were nice and the chicken was okay. The sticky date pudding is not too bad too.

I don't normally rate a place just from a take away sfw. Let's face it, I drink so much I'd be tapping the keyboard all day (oh wait, I do that anyway). But I just bought coffee here and got charged 50c extra to PayPass. I thought we were all supposed to be going cashless? You can't tell me that transaction racks up a fee equivalent to 12.5% of the purchase. If anything my cashless transaction saves them time and money and makes them less vulnerable to robbery. Fortunately the coffee is ok but I won't go back, in principle. Am I being a cheapskate?

Got to cafe at 650. No other customer. Took them five minutes to stop eating and serve me (I know this because they were chewing when they got to the counter). Ordered my coffee. Another 3 customers arrived. They spent ten minutes taking other customers' orders before I asked if they were going to make the coffee anytime soon. Told that they had to serve customers (4 staff in view, all chewing by this time) - advised I was a customer too and wad waiting ten minutes. Finally got my coffee.

Go to dome instead. The food and coffee in this place is just mediocre. All the girls there seem to have some sort of attitude problem and no sense of what good customer service is. Shame that such a lame fit out occupies such a prime location. Oh, and be prepared to have your coffee and food served with a side of attitude.

Poor Service! Waited in line while the young girl working the register decided to have a chat to her other little blonde friend she was serving and make everyone wait?! I walked out. Unfortunately stay in a hotel next door so it is convenient but every time I come back I'm disappointed with the crap attitude of the staff. Try smiling and offering some friendly perth customer service girls?!

NOT BE GOING BACK!. The coffee is poor standards mcdonalds would do a better coffee than here. <br/>As for the food i used to go in and get a salad everyday I liked the ranges they had but now I have no desire to go and purchase my food from here it is appalling. They never make delicious salads like they had a few weeks back. It has gone down hill in a matter of a couple of weeks! I not be eating here anymore

NOT GREAT!. I had a turkish bread today and it was poor quality the filling was not nice at all I had ham and cheese and normally you couldnt go wrong with such a plain filling but it tasted old and past its sell by date the ham was chewy and mainly fat. the cheese tasted like rubber. I had to bin this one and then went and brought a baguette thinking maybe the bread will taste better but there was barely any filling in them I used to get the baguettes and they tasted divine now its just like the owner is cutting back on there fillings and using cheap quality foods. when i pay 8 dollars for a baguette i expect quality not like ive opened a half empty packet of chips.

Wheres the little blonde girl gone?. I have ate there for a few months now working nearby it is handy. I usually get turkish bread as theres a wide range of fillings to choose from however i have noticed for the last 2 weeks the turkish breads and baguettes have been amazing they have tasted so much better than the past and i noticed there was a small blonde english girl who had been making them! where has she gone she wasnt there today and the sandwiches are back to being poorly made. GET HER BACK!!

Top notch. Reading other reviews I think things must have changed. Young friendly girl manning the till, lovely happy smiling Barista and my Eggs Ben was great.<br/>There can be a wait I would imagine as when I was there people just kept on coming until they were almost out the door. The food was flowing from the kitchen so it wasn't slow, just the volume of people.<br/>I'm coming back....................try the Lemon slice with you coffee

It was 10am and I requested a club sandwich and the female behind the counter said no you cannot order that item as it is a lunchtime item. That was it. Then as I was waiting for my coffee I saw that other people were ordering toasted sandwiches. Customer service here is really under satisfactory and unprofessional.

Coffee OK, service poor. Coffee is OK. The food looks amazing but falls short in size and taste and is very overpriced.<br/><br/>I'm getting quite fed up with poor customer service these days and E-Sence excels in poor customer service. Completely disinterested in customers, I used to go there because the coffee was the best in the area, but the service staff don't make eye contact and the service both to get your order taken and to get your coffee is very slow. <br/><br/>There's no way you can recommend them now that woogie has opened up 50 meters away.<br/><br/>Thank God I won't have to go there anymore!

Breakfast was superb.Smoked salmon,eggs cooked to order an asian buffet, a srlect of organic bresfs anf juices, freshly saueezed fruit juices,danish pastrkes,freshly brewed tea coffee to dis for.Well dln e-sense.Visit because you wont be disappointed.

Very expensive and small portions. Went to esense and ordered a Chicken Burger for lunch. Cost $9 so was expecting a baguet with chicken and salad as described on their menu board. What I received was half a baguet with one slice tomato, one slice cucumnber and two small chicken pieces. Honestly consisted of two large bites, all for $9. <br/><br/>I returned to esense and mentioned that half my $9 baguet was missing. They advised ""no, thats right". they werent to concerned as business was booming. <br/><br/>Chicken 50% baguet was OK but definately not worth $9. Problem is that in Perth you pay alot more than you should however you deserve this treatment when places like this charge what they do without customer complaint. They only change when business declines and they reassess.<br/><br/>If you are happy with Perth prices for small snacks, keep frequenting places like esense. You can do better and get more at places nearby like Mint St Asian, which tastes better and is substantial for $8. <br/><br/>Esense has seen the last of me and I have also told all my work colleagues.
