The food and service here are excellent, its a little pricey but the serving sizes are decent and the quality is very good !
Would recommend for a special occasion and Highly recommend that you book as its a very small place.
if you are Sashimi(raw fish) lover you must try here, not only you can eat salmon or tuna. They were fresh and tasty. Best quality I ever had in Perth.
Not recommend for big family or group due to the size of shop but take away is the idea and enjoy out side the shop. There is a big garden in front so you can relax and enjoy Ichirin's lunch box or any meal.

We came for lunch on a Saturday. I enjoyed the bento box. Whilst it's pricier than what you expect for suburban Japanese, it's well above what you normally get. Service is friendly. As it's a small place, book ahead to ensure seat.

Omakase is great always fresh ideas and taste wise it does leave you wanting more but after 6 dishes and a few side dishes you leave feeling better about yourself haha. Remember people changing a menu monthly is a gift for in Perth,especially trying to source high quality fresh produce for a reasonable price. Hit me up if you can do it cheaper and better :)

When it comes to taking my mum out for dinner, she’s a big fan of Japanese omakase meals, so Jeremy and I like to look for new ones we haven’t tried before in the past. For this year, it was trying out a little suburban hole in the wall called Ichirin, which we’d seen some pretty stellar online reviews and pictures of.
A small Japanese restaurant tucked within the suburb of Leeming.. this unassuming restaurant could be one of our new favorite Japanese go-to. Delicious, well-presented dishes as well as friendly service. I would love to come return to try their omakase menu.
Curiously located in the outer suburbs, it is worth every moment of the journey to get there. The guests at the sushi bar gaze over the open plan kitchen where the staff of three work away non-stop not only cooking and preparing beautiful dishes but transforming their creations into works of art. Despite their intense attention to their work there was still energy left for a warm greeting and
welcome. There followed soft, melt-in-your mouth salmon sashimi, vegetables and prawns clothes in feather-light tempura batter, perfectly prepared gyoza - and finished with a heavenly creme brûlée. We will be back...thank goodness for GPS!
If you haven’t found a good Japanese restaurant here in Perth? You probably haven’t tried Ichirin. A hidden gem located in LeeMing, this chef is serving 6 course omakase with different menu every month at only $60 a head, which means u only pay $10 each dish served, what a bargain! The foods are nicely presented, really flavoursome with the chef’s magic touch! Only complain was the duck dish I had which to me a little bit salty, duck was cooked to perfection though. The beef stew, the beef literally just melt in your mouth! Soooo good!!! Overall experience was very good and pleasant. Chef and staff are very friendly! Will definitely visit again!
Had the octopus and bento box here. I found that the flavours were authentically Japanese: subtle and delicate. The octopus itself was nice and chewy. The bento box was solid and the sushi was quite fresh. Nothing in particular stood out, however for the price paid and the quality of food it definitely is among one of the better Japanese places in Perth.
I would not mind trying the omakase one day based on this visit. It's quality food here. I have liked to see a bit more innovation in some areas, but otherwise I could not complain.
I have been here more times than I can remember, but it's definitely more than 50. Never ONCE have I ever been disappointed. Food is fantastic, service is fantastic, the cozy little venue is fantastic.
Of course, the food is expensive, but hey, you get what you pay for and this place gets 5/5 in a heartbeat.
Needless to say... I will be back here to eat.
Good detestation food and good service! Explain each dish when it arrive. Busy and small shop. Will go again. Staff is friendly too. Must try!
