I just had breakfast in cafe and its was really busy and still they provide 5 star service and awesome taste and I highly recommend cafelumos in few words I just loved it
Seriously yum!!! Nice setting outside on deck, the best banana bread I've had in years and fresh fruit was very fresh. Hubby loved his hot breaky and the serve was great even though it was busy we didn't wait long. Might not be our local but we'll be back. Great looking menu too. Thanks
Only got a takeaway coffee here but staff were friendly, cups were adorable and the whole place had a great vibe. It's also the perfect place to get your pre beach coffee - which, might i add, tasted amazing.
We came here for coffees and a bit of food right after picking up a rental car from nearby. Friendly staff and the raw ball was nice although expensive at $5.50.
We've been here a few times and it has always been great! Lovely service, the food is great, it's so nice sitting out on near the garden and I looooove the coffee.
They're always pretty accomodating with any dietary requirements (being pregnant I can't have runny eggs) and they're definitely reasonably priced.
Will be back!
Another great visit to Cafelumos. One of those little spots tucked away in a little street that you could easily drive past, but it would be at your loss if you did.
I have the Bruschetta and at $12 it was perfect. A great brunch choice to go with a coffee. Staff are always very good and the selection of options on the menu and from the display cabinet make it difficult to choose. I will definitely be back.
Great little suburban café. Great food, pretty good coffee (bit of a coffee snob) and a fresh selection of baked goods always on display. Seems like there's been staff turnover with the last 3 or so visits disappointingly ending up with incorrect orders. Staff at the counters have always been nice and understanding though.
I ventured to this neighbourhood café in White Gum Valley. On arrival was greeted by friendly waiter, and told they offered table service. I went through their extensive menu and ordered the benny with potato and parmesan rosti, salmon, poached eggs and hollandaise, and a long Mac topped up. Coffee arrived quickly and was nice and hot. Benny looked good and tasted great. The rosti was good too. Ambience seemed a little lacking and the smoke alarm going off a few times did not help. All in all the food and coffee was good and staff were friendly.
Great cafe tucked in White Gum Valley with a really good selection of yummy breakfast and lunch dishes. First time but will be back. They have all day breakfast. My husband had the eggs Benedict and I had the full vego breakfast. Both were delicious. I'll try the Nasi next time!

I am so excited to have found this place! I love the alfresco area and surrounding trees, big wood tables a little further in and the huge choices of delicious food and drinks! There is a good range of healthy food, cheap options in the cabinet if you dont want a full meal, and you can bring along your dog. There is no changover wait time between breakfast & lunch, and alot of breakfast items remain on the lunch menu. I loved my Super Cleanse Smoothie ($8.50) which was dairy free served in a jar made from Coconut Water, Blueberries, Banana, Cacao & Chia. The tuna & feta pattie was delicious and i cant wait to try the curry veg quiona patty with its chutney. The banana bread and eggs benni were great too. I liked that it was served on potato hash for a change and had a serving of grilled tomato. Maybe a little more hollandaise would have perfected it though. They have healthy salads, huge homemade pies & ssg rolls, savoury & sweet muffins with interesting flavours, wraps, frittatas and lots of homemade goodness. Coffee cups are huge and it didn't taste burnt. Cant wait to return

I went for lunch with a friend mid week and it was pretty busy so I imagine it would be very popular on the weekend.
They do breakfast up to 11:30am and have eggs on the lunch menu too.
We both ordered poached eggs with avocado, feta and bacon. They know how to poach an egg :) yum!
Most of the food is made in store so it is fresh and changeable.
The service was great - nice and friendly.
We couldn't fit in any cake but they all looked fabulous.
The main down side is the lack of parking, but I will definitely try this one again.

First time in Cafe Lumos and you definitely have to go! This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. The Green Goddess Omelet is to die for. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Even though the place is pretty far from our place, it was definitely worth the trip.
Was around the area and google searched somewhere to have lunch. Glad we found this spot. Food fresh and tasty. Was good to see the chai tea was brewed with actual spices. Great service and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend.
Popular Cafe and I can see why, excellent service and great food. I was greeted and received friendly prompt service, my order came put quite fast too. I'll be going back again. The Big Breakfast was delicious; eggs your way (I chose poached), toast, cripsy bacon, sausages, fried tomato, mushrooms & spinach and hash browns. I also had a coffee which was possibly one of the best Cafe coffees I've had of late.
Each and every time I visit Cafe Lumos I am left wondering. That is, I am left wondering why it has been so long since my last visit.
The service is prompt, friendly and so polite.
The food is generously portioned, perfectly balanced and tastes amazing. And the coffee, all I can say is Yum, every single time.

This cozy restaurant has left nothing but great impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes (especially the corn fritter!), beautiful presentation, and wonderful desserts. Totally recommended! Will definitely come back again.
This place is the bees knees! I have had food from these guys three times so far and honestly have a great time each time. The food is great, the cafe is fabulous and comfortable, the staff are so helpful and lovely, knowing the locals by name and the coffee/drinks is divine. I recommend so highly, more people need to get around these guys. The do gluten free options too!
Today I had the smashed avocado with hash browns (gf bread), mixed berry smoothie and a cap with almond milk. Loved all of it!
Great food and coffee, had their beef brisket and crispy potatoes and it is a must have. Coffee and service was great, very nice atmosphere. Joe is always serving with a smile and always makes you feel at home.
Our sons had a lacrosse game N of the River. Found this cafe for brunch. Friendly staff, fast service. Cosy place. The mushrooms bruschetta was delicious. Boys loved the milk shakes & the cannoli. Will stop in next time I’m in the area.
