I was staying across the road & didn't even know this place was there until I walked past one evening & spotted the signage. The setting is amazing with a few different options of seats, colorful alley, tropical Bali garden or inside the cafe near the coffee bar for that lovely intense smell! The breakfast was cooked to perfection & on a busy Monday morning, my breakfast came out only 5 mins after ordering! Eggs were perfectly poached, toast was perfect & my pot of tea was delicious! I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch for solos, groups, couples or families! Don't walk past like I did many times, as when I finally went in on my last day in Perth, I wished I'd found it sooner so I could have tried their lunch menu!
Friendly service great hidden location. Next time wiil try food, looked delicious too.
I came here with some friends and I ordered the mushroom burger. It was very delicious with the exception that it was very oily. The bun itself, after holding it my fingers were very heavy from the oil and also my chips, though very very delicious were quite oily; so if that’s something you consider please keep that in mind. Other than that a very cute and unique place I’ve been too, will definitely come back to try more from them !
AMAZING salad for lunch - Roasted pumpkin, walnuts, feta cheese with vinagrette seasoned lettuce, o h m y 😛 10$ and the size was humongous 😍
one word: incredible
now i am writing some random words because this review has to be atleast 140 characters. none the less secret garden was a life changing culinary experience and i highly recommend!
Have been a few times, quite nice set up. The food is ok(not great) the service is average at best, I personally don't like staff dressed like they slept in their work clothes. When we eventually got our coffee it was nice and well made. Will go back
Honestly one of my favourite places to go. The environment is so pretty and will be amazing in summer (only gone in winter) and the food is amazing. Definitely recommend the chicken burger because it is to die for and the iced mocha and iced coffee. Plus, any bagel is good. AND SIT OUTSIDE BECAUSE IT'S SO NICE!!
This is the cutest little place for a first date or casual
Catch up with friends the food is the best and sooooo tasty yumm will def go back again
Such an amazing cafe. Such a good little spot and went in today at 1pm and it was very quiet. I had the Sesame Bagel and a friend had the Lamb and Feta pie with Alices mocha.
Sesame Bagel: amazing flavour, with the pepper chicken and sundried tomatoes.
Feta and lamb pie: most amazing taste and the feta was melted and the lamb was so well cooked.
Ice mocha: best iced mocha made. the mocha flavour was amazing and the icecream was so incredibly creamy
definitely recommend coming here for lunch
Really great home style food priced well. House beans with pesto and toast was a very reasonable $12 and was delicious!! Coffee was great and in a big mug which I love. A friend got a Danish and escargot pastry which were each $3.50. These were both delicious and light. Great quiet place to escape the city rush :)
We came across this cafe whilst wandering down Murray Street in the CBD. Without realising, we actually passed through a cafe and were making our way towards the garden at the end of the narrow alleyway. This was The Secret Garden Cafe. We sat outside in what can only be described as a jungle, lots to look at! I went to the counter to grab two menus so we could order as we had a busy day ahead of us.
