My goodness this new place is amazing.
I got the two meat rice dish (Haianese chicken and roast duck); my workmate got the roast pork... all were sensational and inexpensive.
Pure flavour heaven!!!
Will be back!!
Have eaten here three times in the last week: good food for very low prices. Service is friendly and fast. Especially recommended for anyone in the CBD at night, as there are few places that serve decent food for affordable prices.
We love our monday night dining at Chop - Chop, the food is fantastic and the service is fabolous. Four of us and 2 kids love our Food especially the soft and succulent chicken and the cashew. Roast Pork is a must to try. I must admit that Chop Chop serves the best chicken rice in Perth. The service is quick and we were greeted with smiles in every arrivals of the food. It was definitely the best decision to bring my Mum and brother as they were so happy with “ food + service”. MUST TRY and Definately come back. VERY RECOMMENDED if you’re looking for good foods in CBD as they open until 8pm. ORDER NOW!!!
I'm so so happy that this store opened near me!! This is now my go to bbq chop house :) Amazing food, pork belly and char siew is a must have, friendly genuine shop owners, big portion at reasonable price! I just hope they stay open FOREVER :))))
This is the one of the best BBQ pork, roast pork and roast chicken I ever had and by a mile the best I have had in Perth. Highly recommended...
I went to this place last night & the char sui & roasted pork were delicious. Such friendly staff and excellent value for money - will definitely be back!
Amazing food good friend good quality of roast pork . every think the best
Fatty Pork it slightly sweet and sticky on the outside fall apart soft inside! You have got to try the flavored rice, I could simply eat mountains of it. Service was also very friendly. I will definitely return to try other menu items or by a kilo of pork for take away!
Food tasted like authentic Malaysian food. Still delicious despite takeaway. Well packaged. Will order again and try other things on the menu.
We had dinner here after watching “Rise of Skywalker”. The hainanese chicken rice was nourishing. The roast pork had crunchy crackling and tender meat. Egg noodles were el dente. The sauce was saccharine. A little more salt? Good fast service. Pay first.
OMG the roast pork is TDF!!! You NEED this in your life. Go there now. Even if you’re not hungry, you will still have an appetite when you eat here. 🥰
Roast pork is the best I ever have. The meat is soft and melt in your mouth. The pork skin is crusty too. Service is good. Self service utensil and tea.
One can only have so many loves in their life and Roast & bbq pork on rice had always been one of mine. They are my go to option when faced with too many choices and a wife who asked me to decide on dinner days ago. A simple and convenient dish that after over 20 years of tasting what various chefs in different countries could offer on their take of the dream duo on rice, I thought that I had tasted all that the world could offer. How naive I was to think such thoughts. How blinded was I to think "its just another roast and bbq pork with rice" when my wife told me to try out this new place.
Walking into this little shop on Barrack street, my mind expected nothing. It was just city food for us white collar slaves who wanted a quick bite.
I wish I listened to my wife quoting the wise words of the residents of the Malaysian food group.
I wish I looked deeper into why my 2 year old danced as he ate. (The first time he danced while eating was when he discovered sugar. Please remember that wars were waged over sugar across the globe since it was discovered.)
The dish when brought out, looked so ordinary and so innocent. How was I to expect that the pork would just melt in my mouth with flavours that mimic rainbows sprounting all over my tongue? How was my tender and unprepared heart supposed to cope with the strain of finding love yet again after my son was born.
I had to reevaluate my perspective of this world. I looked back and realise how small my dreams and goals have been.
You truly never know when you will be moved by something in life. Some people through religion, some through love, mine however was Chop Chop.
Really soft and melt on your mouth roast pork! Comes with complimentary soup and hot tea. Overall good food however can have slightly long wait times.
Came for early lunch. We had fried lotus chips with mayo; fried wontons; bbq pork with noodles (dry); and Hainanese chicken rice. We were very impressed with the chicken rice. So much flavour. The bbq pork with noodles was delicious too. It has been a while since we had such a good meal like this in Perth. Definitely recommend and coming back for more.
Was recommended by friends to come to this place. We had a curry chicken rice and roast chicken rice. Very friendly staff and food was very delicious, simple and fresh! We will coming back for more.
Lunch or dinner..this place is fabulous. Really inexpensive food that is packed FULL of flavour. I have had the Hainanese chicken rice; roasted duck with rice; bbq pork with noodles; and chicken curry with noodles.
Bang on everytime.
Cant wait to try the roast pork next!
Drool worthy deliciousness. Friendly, efficient service.
I got these guys Uber Eats and ordered the chicken rice and chicken soup. One of the best orders on Uber Eats ever! Very reasonably priced, delicious, hot, fresh and in clever packaging. My new fave!
i got the combination rice with bbq pork and hainanese chicken. came with soup and spicy sauce. it was very delicious for the price of $12.50 it was worth it and the serving size is good. also ordered the 3pcs chicken wings for $5.95. friendly staff and great ambience. highly recommend!
Beef brisket noodles for $15. Soup was super nourishing and the beef was so soft! The noodles came separate with their own sauce. Overall, really tasty! Service was friendly and fast even though it was almost closing time. Portion might be a bit small for big eaters though.
Great food, good sized portions and friendly service. I am going to try more options from here definitely. The sauces in the individual pots is great to get the taste the way you want it as well.
My 'go to' dish here is the KL Style BBQ pork. It's the perfect balance of fat (that melts in your mouth), sweetness and caramelised skin. 5 stars for the food. They have a station where you help yourself to cutlery, chilli and unlimited hot tea. My only downside is that the cutlery and plastic cups still feel a bit "oily" even though they have been washed. Service is above average for an authentic Asian eatery - they smile and interact like a valued customer.
Probably the best roasted pork i have ever had in the cbd area. Roasted chicken and duck were yums too. Fried lotus was okay, the cuts a lil too thick, prefer thinner ones. Will definitely come back☺️
My go to place for a good BBQ pork dish. I like their portion size, for me it shows value. My favourite is the Malaysian BBQ pork noodle. The Malaysian style has more samcan (fat), it makes the dish much tastier.
Although I find the Malaysian BBQ pork is too soft, it doesn't take away the delicious taste of the dish.
I tried their laksa. It is thick and creamy, just the way I like my laksa broth, it can use a little bit more salt to pull the taste out more. The laksa has yellow noodle, tofu, fish balls, fishcake slices, and bean sprout. I added roast pork over BBQ pork amd hainanese chicken this time.
When you need something quick for your lunch or dinner, Chop Chop will please your tummy, only IF you can get a parking spot.
20 July 2022, just had my lunch here. I ordered the BBQ pork noodle. It was good. The BBQ pork skin was thin and crispy. Pork meat tender. Noodle was good and the small bowl of soup tasty.
Very tender and yummy BBQ pork. The rice is so yummy that I do not any meat to come with. The roast pork skin is crisp and meat is very tender. Highly recommend.
