It was pleasant, the staff was friendly, and the taste was really good.

We ate here for 2 nights. The food was good and the price a bit on the high side. We had steak & fish and chips one night. The steak was great, the fish and chips was good but I didn't like that they used barramundi which has a fishy smell. The last night we had Korean squid & pork belly hot plate with Kimchi soup.

It's spacious and pleasant, and the taste is also 👍

This place has incredible food. A great blend of Australasian favourites. All protein ordered was cooked perfectly (beef, chicken and fish). Definitely recommend spending a few of your dollars here. Well priced delicious food with options of relaxed indoor and alfresco dining. Could not be happier.

The food was good and the price a bit on the high side. We had steak & fish and chips one night. The steak was great, the fish and chips was good but I didn't like that they used barramundi which has a fishy smell. The last night we had Korean squid & pork belly hot plate with Kimchi soup. Excellent choices, tory authentic cos the owners are Korean themselves. But we had to pay for rice which only came if you ordered a set. Overall very pleased with the food quality. Service was very good. Very convenient to have dinner when staying at the Comfort Hotel Perth City. Highly recommended.

I was staying in the area and initially popped in for a drink. Staff incredibly polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Came back the next evening for dinner. On hearing me lament the lack of decent seafood in my home town it was suggested I try the fish of the day. Whilst this triggered the usual "uhhuh, upselling" thought it was great advice. A phenomenal dish. Superb presentation, incredibly tasty and delivered after exactly the correct amount of time. I was allowed to sample a couple of wines but took staff recommendation. Great to see good food and service again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was a gem of a place. We ate a continental breakfast here 6 days out of 7. Abundance of assorted foods to cater for all tastes. Cooked breakfasts were available but we were very happy with continental. We also ate 4 evening meals here and couldn't fault the meals or the staff. Both morning and evening staff were very polite and friendly. Overall a delightful experience and highly recommend.

A hidden gem. We had breakfast here on three mornings. The big breakfasts were great, if you like your toast darker make sure to tell them that because the toast was so light it was almost white, nevertheless it was forgivable. Coffees were great, juices great. The waffles were amazing. Had dinner here one night, caesar salad was pretty good, had a few non traditional ingredients like tomatoes. The we had a couple of their asian dishes and they were great. Great bottled ciders also.

This was a restaurant I often go to.

and this restaurant food flavor was pretty good.

But I got a terrible service here from old waitress who I saw first.

I ordered a sweet chili chicken, and some pieces of chicken smelled.

It was badly rotten. I asked for reconfirmation.

However, the old waitress said no smell, and the chef prepared yesterday and said he could not smell it.

She had no apologies for Complain. and She looked at us like stranger people.

I thought that I did not need any more conversation, and I immediately went to the restaurant.

Later I knew it that she is owner of the restaurant.
I hope this is not her original personality.

This place has weird working hours. I would never know when it is open. Fancy place for a coffee or a dull evening. Bit pricey. Service is lax. They should seriously work on some PR activity to let know their working hours!!!

Had tapas plates to share and wine with friends. Food is good. Service is nicer. Nice local place for a bite and a drink. Start your weekend crawl here.

A good feed but pricey. Have to pay for mushroom sauce separately for the steak. The mussels are as expensive as Bistro Guillaume but smaller serve!

Have been here 3 times already over the past 3 years, each time using entertainment bk coupon but it never disappoints me. Would've liked to come more often but just a bit far for me to travel. Beautiful food, atmosphere and staff. Highly recommended.

Great service, good atmosphere. We loved our lamb and duck mains. A bit pricey but we got the Entertainment Book voucher so it was worth it.

Stunning food from the Tapas menu especially the salmon. Completely surpassed my expectations. A nice range of wines as well, and you can order large or small. Great service also😊

Ate the twice cooked pork belly for dinner. The fish was served with a generous slab of pork with stewed apple, on top of honey roasted carrots and mashed potato with jus. The crackling of the roast pork was very crisp and the sweetness of the jus and carrots balanced out the saltiness of the pork.

We went to Bluerock because we were staying across the road at Mantra on Hay. We were really disappointed, we ordered the special for entree - garlic chilli prawns, there were maybe 4 very small prawns that were seriously overcooked and I'm still searching for the garlic and chilli. Mains - the other three in the group ordered pork belly which was a bit salty but still ok, the chicken breast which was good and the steak which was ordered medium rare but was more medium to well done on the edges however it was still ok. I ordered the pumpkin arancini balls, 3 of them arrived so overcooked I ate 1 and left the rest. Finally coffee and desert - coffee I ordered a strong latte and I could hardly taste the coffee, we also ordered chocolate fondant and creme brûlée- the fondant was great but the creme brûlée was really runny so much so they didn't charge us which we were thankful for. All up for me it was terrible the other 3 enjoyed their mains but that was it. They didn't seem to have enough staff as we were left waiting way to long in between courses, we were served meals and then had to wait each time for cutlery and when we wanted to order dessert we had to go looking for a staff member to order it. We won't be returning to this restaurant, it is not cheap and the food and service just wasn't good enough.

They look good, I'd really want to try it some day, I guess whenever I visit there I'm hitting you guys :D I just hope it's all good when I come :p

One of the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had - the food was average, the service polite but very slow, the coffee not great - my friend returned hers as she couldn't drink it and it was horribly overpriced even by Perth standards.

Great customer service, just the way it should be. Just wanted to say thank you for saving our evening. Had an awful experience at a place down the road. Came to Buerock for a coffee to finish our evening. Great staff, very friendly and was a great coffee. Maybe a few other cafes could learn a thing about customer service from the Bluerock

My hubby took me to Blue Rock for Valentine's Day Dinner. The food was superb. We had American BBQ Ribs and some steak with chicken liver pate n asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. The ingredients they used were fresh and cooked to perfection. My dessert which was creme brulee was to die for. I also love the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was warm and romantic. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Mark was friendly n polite. We had to wait a tad long for our food to come out though. But overall, we would come back here for sure.

Will definatly be coming back , food was excellent and well priced , the service was fast and friendly . I Recommend the meze plate to share the sirloin steak and the chicken mains and the desserts we had a bombe Alaska and the brownie . Also the bar had a good selection of spirits :)

Bland, overpriced food and terribly slow service even when mostly empty. Seems to survive on a captive audience of weary travellers.

No Stay "K"!. Ordinary pub grub nothing special, Drunken Prawns are a disappointment!
Jordy
A little disappointed! Ordered the 'stir fry of the moment' and it was very bland with no flavours at all!
Jade Koellner
Fillet steak is the pick of the menu. Delish!!!

Lamb curry was very good - service good

First Class Restaurant. I can recommend the "K cafe" situated in the Comfort Hotel. I stay here once a month and the food is one of the biggest reasons I return.
The 250gm aged fillet of beef with duck pate is superb and melts in the mouth every time, try it with the red wine jus.
The breakfasts are just as good
KenG
Service was good, marinated lamb rump was very good, stuffed chicken breast was lacking any flavour.
Cafe Addict
Average food, higher than average prices. Cool venue but the food is average at best and at the higher end of the price scale.

Soy cappuccino was not to bad and the service was friendly, but the "French Toast with Caramelised Strawberries" was 2 slices of white bread with 2 tiny un-caramelised strawberries on the side. And it came with a sealed packet of honey and an open packet of jam. Would have preferred to open the jam myself….

All in all is was edible but not really worth $14.50. Was lucky I had an entertainment coupon for 25% off the total bill, although they weren't keen to give me the discount, despite a sign mounted to the front counter that said discounts applied to regular breakfasts and dinner meals.

All in all, the best part about the place was the restaurant itself, and I'd be unlikely to go back for another meal.
