Ordered Uber eats two nights in a row here and they had missing items and utensils each time. Loved the Japanese cake and dessert selection which had me try the first and second time. The food was good. Probably best to dine in instead of ordering delivery.
A rare opportunity to try Japanese Halal food. The staff confirmed with us the meat is from sources. The Teriyaki Chicken that came with the Rice box was amazing. The Ramen was served in big bowls. The Octopus balls we tried as a starter tasted great. Nicely made Japanese food.
Decent food, reasonable price. Not too busy and the staff were friendly.
A cosy restaurant in the heart of Northbridge that offers a selection of comforting meals at an extremely affordable price. After one trip months ago on a whim this place has fast become my partner and I's regular main spot for tasty, authentic Japanese meals. Quite possibly one of the only places
I had the chicken Katsu bento box set which was great. But my partner had some kind of noodle which he couldn’t eat so he ended up eating mine. The staff was not really friendly and seemed very unbothered.
Average at best. The teriyaki chicken donburi was mostly flavorless and certainly what flavor there was was almost like a watered-down version of teriyaki. It seems from the other reviews this place can be hit and miss on certain nights.
Chanced by this place whilst craving Japanese food and expected it to be like the Shimizu at Watertown, which is good food. But we were blown away by how amazing the food was here.
