Review Leaf & Bean Emporium - Perth

Laurence Lin
Great coffee but the wait is long! There is a small backyard as well if you come with your pooch or baby. Tip for you: order beforehand on the phone. When I used to live in the area, I would come to the coffee shop around 8.15am and it took me 20min to get my coffee. Food is good and usually the service is great. Sometimes the staff can be a bit… moody 😅

Great service, very quick. Breakfast was delicious and filling :)

Cannot say 1 negative thing about this place, from it's delicious healthy food (I looove their patties and salads). Their coffees are hot and tasty (I get the oat lattes). Service is superb and environment so cosy and comfy. Happy it's a local :) B

Went a few months ago and haven’t gone back as I ordered 2 coffees and watched the barista take 25 minutes walking around taking her shweet time to put the coffee docket down then make the coffees… no sense of urgency and it really turned me off. Great food though.

Convenient to where I live as it's just few minutes down the road and always happy with the service. Coffee is really strong and food caters to dietary requirements. I also like that they usually puts aside the marshmallows for hot chocolate as I usually forget to ask not to have it in. Love the friendly staff. Definitely recommend 👍👍

Quick service and good coffee. Tried their brekky options. Liked the cheesy chilli eggs and loved the crispy potatoes .

Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon was tasty. The wilted spinach at $4,50 extra seemed a bit over the top. Overall a nice cafe meal but can’t score more than three as the scrambled eggs, salmon and spinach came to $23. I asked for no toast when I ordered, that was again repeated when I paid but ignored. Just seems overpriced.

Long time favourite! Big serves of delicious food, poached eggs always perfectly done, coffee is fantastic and staff are lovely. Highly recommend. (Also had some cake take away, moist and tasty!)

i came here for breakfast once, i asked for their scrambled eggs with no dairy, the young boy at the counter was less then willing to check with the kitchen but eventually did and said it was fine, as i was finishing up my order another young girl working there came up to him and commented to him about my order in a very judgemental way. i felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome in this cafe, as a barista myself i understand how difficult it can be in hospitality and have become very conscious and aware of this and have shown generous patience and politeness since, but with that being said, since walking into the cafe there was not one smile or greeting and felt very tense and unwelcoming. They also forgot items from our order and when confronted about them he was very disinterested and doubtful as if i didn’t pay for them which i had. Unfortunately won’t be coming here again.

Busy but good feel to the place. Coffee food and service was great.

Maybe we ordered the wrong foods? We were not quite satisfied with what we ordered this day. Brioche bun was too crisp it wasn't enjoyable to have with otherwise beautifully cooked scrambled egg and chorizo. Bacon was oily and charred, though the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Other than that, good service, cozy place, just not quite there with the foods. We would come back and try other foods though.
More Than Nourishment
Came for breakfast on a weekday. Was slightly disappointed that they hadn’t updated their winter menu to spring especially since they say they provide seasonal menus. Got the veggie stack. Presentation was nice. The sweet potato rosti was moist although I felt it did need extra seasoning. Thumbs up for efficient service and ability to make a booking.

Spacious cafe with good coffee and tasty food. We got two cold brew black coffees and ordered mini toasties (good as a starter), eggs on toast and a sweet potato and pumpkin frittata. Everything was enjoyable with good service. Recommended.

Love coming here! Food is always delicious, well balanced and interesting. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Today W had the pulled beef burger with fries and I had the smashed avocado with polenta. Service is mostly friendly (one person is quite surly but everyone else is cheerful and pleasant) and service is generally prompt.

I’ve only been to leaf & bean a couple of times before & this was my first time not just dashing in to grab a coffee. The staff were very friendly, coffee was good & the food yummy (and so photo-worthy!!)
Best of all, a good selection of g/f foods & other stuff to cater for vegans & such too. Check out the totally awesome gf Nutella crepes!

Probably worth a little less than a 4/5 for me, but Zomato doesn't give a "3.9" option. Leaf & Bean Emporium is one of our regular haunts and it does modern breakfast cafe food well. I usually get the bacon and eggs, so there is not much I can say about my regular meal, other than that the serving is generous and the quality is good. But my wife must have tried every meal on the menu over the past year and has yet to find one she didn't like. Today it was the beef benny (eggs benedict with beef brisket). The beef was a little dry, but it was still a 3.5/5. Usually she rates her meal at Leaf & Bean a 4/5. But the juice was great -fresh and zesty. Service is hit and miss, though. It really depends on which staff member you deal with, as some are a little surly.

The best breakfast I had in Perth. French toast was fluffy and had great amount of sauce on the side. My boyfriend loved the coffee, best he had in a long time.

I love this place :) always great coffee and lots of GF options!! Open public holidays unlike a lot of cafes in Mt Hawthorn. Consistent and friendly :)

Popped in for breaky. Tough choice between nutella crepes and muesli. Went the healthier option and goodness me it was superb!
L&B's muesli is like nothing else... fresh, chunky, toasted and super nutty. Served with vanilla acai (yum), grated apple and berry compote. Seriously good stuff. Big serving. Highly recommended.
My skinny capp was really nice too although I should've ordered it a "little hotter than usual" as I normally do which would've tipped it over into heavenly territory for me.
Also bought a slice of summer cake for the road. Fruity and spicy, it reminded me of Christmas. And that can only be a good thing :))

Just bought 2x $4.00 coffee that we had to throw in the bin.. disappointing. But that said the panini is a thing to behold. This however was the last morning coffee twice bitten, we will not be back.
Demabu
Another terrific vegan-friendly breakfast/brunch venue. The Veggie Breakfast without the eggs was beautifully done, with a good serve of avo and delicious homemade beans. The long black I had was also very good. Let down slightly by the service, however; one of the servers was unnecessarily brusque, which was a little off-putting.
LS
Love their coffee and the dense fruit toast. Hope to see more varieties on their brunch menu, however perhaps the reason why they are good as they managed to keep their menu simple. Always a pleasure to visit.
C.rose
Food choices aplenty and service usually prompt even though the cafe can get busy on the weekends. Coffee is good, however having tried the matcha latte many times I found it to be always very bitter even when made by the different baristas, so now I tend to stay away from that drink when here.
Nicole Tissott
Picked up a toasted smoked salmon rye bagel this morning and it was DELISH. My long mac was just as good. Think they may be a new coffee regular for me. The cafe was very busy so the wait was a little long, but well worth it. Full of professionals and mums with prams :)

Drove pass this place and don't regret stopping to try the food. Ordered the Benny Beef which was amazing! The beef brisket was cooked to perfection, marinated well and seasoned for flavour. The poached eggs were done well too without it being too soft/runny or turning to hard boil. Meal was a decent size and was great from start to end. Service here was also a plus point and is probably a winner for me! Good job Leaf & Bean...
OnePointFive
A friend told me their coffees were nice. So i tried today and wasnt dissapointed. Very nice smooth Toby Estate coffee indeed. I was hoping to see yummy crumbled cake I saw on IG, but today's cakes were nothing interesting, so I passed. I would go back for nice coffee and food one day.

Nice to see a place open early on a Sunday. Lovely courtyard- I don't know why people would sit inside! At the pricier end but good selection of different items on the breakfast menu. Good coffee. Good service.

Used to work above leaf and bean.

Such a great continent lovely place.

Beautiful location for business meetings and the food and coffee really sets it off.

Customer service is always 10/10 and never fails to disappoint.

Love this little local, always friendly and the food is always consistently tasty. Middle eastern baked eggs is always a winner and the coffee never disappoints. Been many times with friends and its become a favorite
Mrs_ox_qtn
Perfect - when you want a healthy, tasty salad and green smoothie that makes you feel fantastic afterwards this is the place! Lovely staff too.
Kiwi FIFO Chef
Disclaimer: I had the pleasure to work with Chef Craig at one of the Roy Hill Rail Camps in 2015, and we mutually appreciated the passion and effort that each of us brought to the small campsite. So, after seeing Craig make the transition from a few years of the tough 4:1 construction roster to thriving, trendy cafe life, it was with much anticipation that we managed to make it to Leaf and Bean Emporium for a casual midweek lunch early in the New Year.
The cafe had tagged Craig in on some food photos of his chef's special of the day, and the food and presentation looked glorious!! I just had to make time to get here!!
The vibe is busy, yet relaxed, the service staff helpful, chatty and very accommodating.
It would be easy to find something for most people from the display cabinet of prepared treats, and if not, then you'll be easily enticed by the delicious offerings from the brunch and lunch menu. So many great sounding options to choose from - clearly another visit or two will be required! Mrs FIFO chef went straight for her perennial favorite of Fish Tacos - a perfectly cooked, battered pair of flathead fillets, on a tasty coleslaw, fresh guacamole, salsa and a smoked chilli mayo, cradled in soft tortillas - finger-licking goodness!! ($16)
For me, the Fritter Stack did not disappoint. Two roasted cauliflower and zucchini fritters, layered with a generous helping of smoked salmon, fanned avocado on a herb cream, and topped off with a perfectly soft poached egg ($19).
The sweet treats were too tempting to pass up, so a gluten free slice of chocolate brownie for madam, and a slice of summer cake for me, and 2 double shot small cappuccinos finished us off. Both cakes were sensational, and the coffees were spot on!! With the cakes and coffees, the bill came to $45, which I consider to be great value for a meal of this quality. Big ups for this place, and they thoroughly deserve their high ratings and great reviews. If you haven't discovered this place, then get in there and try the team out for yourself - you won't regret it.

Very tasty. We had an assortment of dishes and shared them around and everything was delicious. Staff were friendly and laid back. Nice place.

I feel like you could give me so much more but then again it could be me, not you.
Leaf & Bean I can never make up my mind with you, I never walk out with a pep in my step after sampling your delights and spending time in what feels like a university students bedroom. I step outside and feel like I can breathe again and the weight has been lifted off my shoulders... I feel like I am writing an awful break up letter.... well uhh.... maybe I am. Mount Hawthorn coffee strip needs a revamp.
No flow, no love I am sorry.
LifestyleByLily
Up until recently, Mount Hawthorn was a little unexplored with my first visit to Casa Bianchi. Leaf & Bean is quite a different venue. On our visit, there were many customers in for take away coffees and lunches but the we were amongst many who were able to take our time and enjoy our brunch date on site.

Leaf & Bean is just one of the café's along Scarborough Beach Rd in Mount Hawthorn that has somehow managed to slip under the radar. Even on such a cold morning, the café's outdoor seating isn't wasted with a warm blanket at each table to keep loyal patrons (whether loyal to the café, or to food!) comfortable.

Putting aside my disappointment of the must-try secret recipe seafood chowder not being on the current menu, I opted for the potato rosti. Drowned in hollandaise, the pair of poached eggs had unbelievably runny yolks considering the firmness of the whites (not that I'm complaining!). Beneath the eggs, beneath the salty smoked salmon, and beneath the spinach, the potato rosti had a crispy crust with a soft centre - perfectly for mopping up the excess hollandaise.

Hopefully the seafood chowder makes its way back soon!

Have been here a few times now (only for brekkie) and the food is always good quality but never amazing. Coffee is consistent, never bad but never fab. Serving sizes are a little small for the price. Service is good and you can sit outside with your dog. Good place for a quick casual brekkie, but nothing outstanding.

We saw this place and decided to drop in and try it out. The service is somewhat disappointing. We ordered two coffees which were average, we ordered the shakshuka and the cheesy chives eggs. Both lacked something special, a little disappointing considering it had potential to be great.
Sarah Green
This little jem of a Cafe with out the back parking has a new outdoor area which is beautiful to sit at and dog friendly. I was served by a lovely lady with a smile and friendly chit chat.

I ordered the breakfast burriro and a bowl of coffee.

The coffee was smooth and creamy, just how I like it. And the food was amazing

I will definitely be back with my puppy next time.

This place is amazing! Found it by complete accident whilst cruising through Mount Hawthorn. Great menu, great coffee and the staff are all lovely.

The place has changed owners in the last few months. The owner Amy, who I had the pleasure of meeting, clearly loves her job and you can tell they love their customers. Almost everyone in there were locals who were coming in for their daily fix.

Still going there at least once a month. Highly recommended if you want to find an all day breakfast bar.

Got the fritter stacks and 2 lattes. Been here a few times and usually pretty good. Poached eggs were undercooked and coffees tasted a bit odd. Stackers were great though.
Keight
Food looked good but Slow service, loud venue, waited, gave up, I don't need to spend money at places that annoy me and I can find somewhere better.

I love this place!! They are my go to coffee shop on the weekend because they have lactose free milk and make a great coffee. And yesterday I finally got to enjoy their cooked breakfast too. I had gluten free toast with poached eggs, grilled tomato and bacon....everything was perfect! The eggs still had runny yolks, the bacon crispy on the edges, tomato full of flavour and the toast was crunchy and delish.
My partner ordered the big breakfast and scoffed that down very quickly! No complaints from him. And as always the coffees were great and the staff very friendly. I must make special mention of the young girl who makes their coffee, she is ALWAYS happy, smiling and friendly. She is a star!!
Sadie2302
Have been here a handful of times for coffee or breakfast. Consistently great. Breakfast menu is also a refreshing change from standard bacon & eggs breakfasts (although that's also on the menu). Coffee allllllways excellent.
The Honest Foodie
At the risk of everyone coming here. I love this place and the staff are amazing !!! They're consistent and
you're guaranteed to get amazing food and coffee every time !!!
Perthgirl0310
Excellent!. My partner and I have made this our new regular breakfast weekender spot. The coffees are brilliant, and the food really yummy! Between us we've tried the shakshuka, fritters and big breakfast options. All delicious!

Very average.

Really disappointing. Pretty disappointing. Went in today to get a take away lunch and chose zucchini fritters with haloumi salad for $14, expecting a reasonable serve of salad to come with the two fritters for that price. On opening the take away box once I’d left, I noticed that the fritters were flimsy and thin, and the salad serve was pathetically small. Literally two of three mouthfuls. I went back, and having dined in there before and knowing that for same price dining in I’d get more, I politely asked if they could top the salad serve up. They did this for me but not without a chastising about the full salad serve being $8, and that what I had asked for was a $5 salad serve. I pointed out that the menu says $9 for the fritters alone, and simply “or with salad for $14.” Nowhere did it say – or with SIDE salad serve for $14 or with FULL salad serve for $17. So how was I supposed to know about this mysterious salad pricing scale if it wasn’t printed anywhere visible? And the point is – even a side salad serve for $5 should’ve been more substantial than what I got...it was a joke. I work in the Mount Hawthorn area and there are plenty of places where you can go for better value without the attitude. During the tell-off I was also informed that the salads are priced this way because they use “premium” ingredients like haloumi. I eat imported-from-Cyprus Dodoni Haloumi all the time, which is the actual premium REAL stuff (and costs a whopping $6 from Coles so let’s not pretend it’s caviar) and the haloumi in this salad was not this. It was rubbery and hard, alongside it’s other underwhelming “premium” ingredients of rocket and cherry tomatoes. Wow. The fritters were soggy and tasteless. Never, ever again.

I love this place!. Food is heaven, coffee is great and the staff are helpful and friendly! I always leave this place with a smile and a full belly!
CamSaya
Great service, good coffee and the cakes looked even better, we'll have to try them another time
Jemma Cauchi
Friendly staff and ok spinach pie but the side salad was broccoli potato carrot etc and cold?! Yuck
Mojitoricca
Have only ever had average coffee, food and drinks from here before. The service is okay but not great. I now suggest other places to catch up with friends. Choose your own juices is okay though, but overpriced.
Cocopop
Service was appalling! Aimee was so rude. I would have ordered but took my business elsewhere. Tried to explain what I wanted and was told I don't want what you're selling (I was holding a file for work) and proceeded to help people behind me. I couldn't believe it!
Kate Morrison
Best coffee ever! I have to travel around Perth for work and this place is my fav
Prior Melburnian
Average at best. Won't be returning!

Consistently good.. Been coming here for years. Current breakfast team doing a great job. Friendly neighbourhood cafe. Barista does a good job, coffee tastes great. Bacon & egg croissants give you the cheapest and most delicious breakfast around town.
Lillypad
Burnt Coffee. Still serving burnt coffee and are the staff even awake. People there are plenty of coffee shops in Mt Hawthorn... This place cannot get it right.
Mike
In a nutshell, terrible coffee and poor meal servings. One meal we had was the garlic mushrooms which had literally 1 mushroom on baby spinach and 1 slice of toast. Went back next day to try again and coffee was burnt and horrible.
David
Yum, yum, yum. So fresh, had the most stunning brunch, lovely atmosphere, great coffee and such friendly staff. I real hidden gem;-)
Fiona
Slow slow slow. I have lived in the area for 10 years and frequent most of the coffee shops along the strip. Leaf and Bean used to be awesome but unfortunately the slow service has finally made me stop going there. Even in non busy times the service staff seem to enjoy chatting and pottering around rather than making your coffee. Take away coffee shouldn't take 10 minutes plus. Sorry to sound harsh but unfortunately they need to lift their game to keep up with the likes of Yelo on Oxford St that are quick and friendly.
Yo Mumma
Love this place! Great coffee, friendly staff and they are very dog and child friendly. Fits in perfectly with the demographic of Mt Hawthorn.
Dean Strautins
Very good attention to all clients especially the little ones
Rene LeMerle
No matter how desperate you are for coffee or breakfast... Don't bother with this place.
Mike Beringer
Mount Hawthorn is crying out for a great coffee spot, but alas, this ain't it! Consistently average coffee, too hot with that undesirable burnt taste. They use Toby's Estate which I know can produce a great coffee so clearly it's the barista or machine that isn't up to scratch!
Jacqui Edwards
Graet coffee. This place has great coffee, and while the breakfasts are unoriginal, they are safe bets done well. Would go back.
Rucky
Nothing special. But not as bad as the other reviews may lead you to believe.

Toby's Estate beans for the coffee which was actually quite good, as I come to expect most cafe's don't do the Toby's coffee justice. Flat white and long black that we both enjoyed.
Unusual beetroot frittata quite tasty but I'd had enough of it by the end.

I found the place a bit sterile but the staff were very pleasant and attentive.
Frankie Nibbles
I'm done with this place. Super rude staff, one lady in particular who will be chummy to regulars, however won't even acknowledge me. Literally glared at me and handed the coffee over. No words. Not to mention SLOWWW. People who ordered well after me got their coffees before me! Never gotten a coffee there in under 15 minutes, except the time I was the ONLY person there and it took 11 minutes and a missed bus. Nice work guys!! I live two doors down and it's not even worth the convienience. P.s your muffins are super dry.
Kirby
Service was very slow especially seeing as we were the only ones at the Resturant. Also if you are going to acknowledge your Resturant as gluten friendly you need to actually be gluten friendly. They didn't even know the ingredients in their products to be able to specify whether it contained gluten or not. It was pretty frustrating because being gluten intolerant I base my Resturant decisions on whether they are gluten friendly or not.

No more Leaf and Bean for me. I popped into the Leaf and Bean (which was previously a favourite of mine) twice yesterday. The first visit I was charged 50cents for one marshmallow for my mocha and served in a takeaway cup when I was quite clearly dining in. My second vist (everyone deserves a second chance right!?) was in the arvo 5 mins before closing time apparently. When I realsised this, I asked if I could still get some takeaways. The girl serving gave me a bit of a huff and proceeded to take my order but when I asked if I could add on a milkshake she gave me a very short 'we are closing in 5 minutes'. Not exactly sure if I was allowed to continue my order or not I decided politely to take my business up the road to Azure (where I got my coffees, mlkshake and some yummy cake and slices along with some great service). Not sure what has happened to the customer service at Leaf and Bean, but its not really the type of service required in a community like Mt Hawthorn when plently of other cafes are able to accommodate!
Georgia
SO SLOW. Went to Leaf and Bean this morning...OMG i waited 20min for my coffee... the place is empty and its just so slow!
the place is nice.. but if you see a young guy behind the coffee machine..walk back out! he is so slow!!!!! and he was coughing all over the place!!!
Tribonia
Waitng waitng waiting. A long wait for a very poor cup of coffee. What ever happened to this place it started off with nice coffee and great service. Definitely not that now!
EDS
Good coffee but too slow. 2 days in a row now - very good coffee but 20 min wait one day and 15 mins the next. hopefully they do something about it
Eatingout
Improved. Coffee has improved, as has the service, BUT they still allow kids to run wild. Sorry, on my weekends I want a quiet breakfast , parents please take your kids to McDonald's
Alice Maeve
They tried to charge me $6.20 for an iced latte (no I've coffee, just a latte with ice) I politely declined, went across the road and got one for $4.40. Perth has lost touch with the price of goods.
Butterfly
Lovely sunday breakfast. I had a great breakfast here on sunday. my friend had the french toast special and i had the free range scrambled eggs. the servings were generous and the eggs really fluffy. the freshly squeezed oj was amazingly sweet. it's casual and relaxed and i really liked the vibe unlike other cafes where the attitude is arrogant and plain rude. i disagree with the reviewer who said the food is dated and boring, the items in the fridge looked fresh and healthy. i guess it's all subjective?
SneakyReviewer
Fantastic all day breaky, huge serving done perfectly. Also probably one of the best coffees in Perth! Certainly coming back for more!
Natalie Tierney
Bad enough to walkout. I recently went here to get some coffee and banana bread. When we ordered, the lady behind the counter was friendly to a lot of customers that must have been regulars, however there wasn't much friendliness given to us. There were three waitstaff on that day - one doing the coffees, one taking the orders and some other waitress which seemed to be floating around. This was all well and good until we waited for more than 25 minutes for our 2 coffees and 2 pieces of banana bread. Without even an apology or "won't be too much longer" it was as if we were completely forgotten.

Funnily enough, we weren't the only ones waiting endlessly. There were at least two other tables who were waiting longer than us. After the 25 minute mark, we decided to bail and not even get our money back. Left a really bad taste in our mouths and we'll never be back.

Also, as a side note, this wasn't the first time this has happened. Although previously we would have waited, it never really ended in a positive note as the coffee would taste awful. I think when you try a cafe a few times and it ends up this way, it leads you to think a certain way.
Demams
Waiting...waiting.... I've tried so hard to support this cafe....but everytime they have failed to come up with the goods. It's either the coffee is inconsistent, delays in serving food/coffee or poor customer service.

On Sunday it was the last straw... there was literally 2 people before me ordering coffees & the cafe wasn't even busy yet it took over 25 minutes for a regular takeaway coffee. The owner was trying to clear tables, make coffee & get food orders together, yet there was staff she could have delegated these tasks too. Or worse still, a regular would come in & she literally stopped everything she was doing to chat...meanwhile non regualr customers are still waiting for coffee.

When I actually received the coffee, it was a very dismissive 'sorry about that'.

Not happy, not recommended & not ever going back!
Todd Rowlands
A little disappointed. On spur of the moment decision I decided to try this place out and was a little disappointed in the sparseness of their menu and eventually the food I ordered.

On arrival I found the place approximately a quarter full and the music a little too loud for my tastes so after I ordered I returned to my table and listened to my Ipod partially to block out the noise.

A simple order of cappuccino and a breakfast bagel is not too hard or taxing. Here is where I have a problem and having waited 15-20 minutes for my order I sampled the coffee and found it perfect but the bagel on the other hand was a burnt on the base and the eggs was as flat as the table and lifeless. I like my yolk to have a little bit of life in it and a little runny.

At $9 I found that this was a big disappointment and the saving grace was the chutney relish served as a side.

Service is extremely slow with 2 people doing coffee and they are needed for the amount of take away orders they do but only 1 person in the kitchen means that orders are slow and tables get cleared irregularly.
The Sexy Marshmallow
Disappointment. We went there and thought it would a cool place for Sunday breakkie, but we walked out with huge disappointment. None of the staff were happily working there, what an unpleasant cafe!
The food was also really average...
Go back again? I don't think I would....
Edward Pencil
Unbelievable!. However not in a good way, I mean if you cant make a semi-edible ham and cheese toastie, just give it up! Oh they didn't even have orange juice, bottled or fresh, Don't beLEAF i've BEAN to a worse cafe:)
Haiko Saiai
Coffee Deluxe. I have been going here for a while and their coffee is usually quite good. I have had the best coffee in Perth here, but lately the quality seems to be decreasing. They have alot of food here, but mostly full of meat. The arancini balls which looked as if it might not contain meat, had meat! The other food they have consist of bagels and panini's, average cafe food.

The coffee is sometimes burnt and bitter, but other times it tastes really good and caramelised, it's hard to say, but it's always according to the barista's capabilities~! I recommend people to try it, though beware the mount hawthorn citizens, their is always buisnessmen and prams and DINK's hahaha. The music is always super low and the ambience is just creepy, especially when the door is closed. Oh and I forgot, the staff are always very angry, or maybe just unhappy because they have to serve. 4 stars.
Lulu's Opinion
This place was kinda cute! Love the range of teas and tea accesories. The coffee was good and the staff were friendly. Will go back again
Mike
Improving all of the time. I first visited Leaf & Bean not long after it opened it's doors. It was some years that I worked up the courage to return. Consistently flavorful coffee with just the right bite is the norm here now.
You wouldn't go out of your way to seek out the food; while nice enough is pretty standard cafe fare (you know, panini, focacia banana bread, et al).
However recommended if you want that well measured comforting coffee hit !
