This is the go to place if you feel like eating Malaysian hawker food. Does not dissapoint. Service is fast and good value for money overall.
There doesn't appear to be an entry for the Vic park store??? Anyway, this is some of the best Malaysian I've ever had, and THE best roti canai I've eaten in my life. Flaky, buttery, and delightful. The rendang is great. and the pork spare ribs were yummy as..
Totally recommended.
Good food and good company with a small group of friends. A small hidden asian food gem in the suburb - and now in Vic Park I believe. There’s some desserts available as well, I tend to like to take away them :)
Lepak Kopitiam is one of the most authentic Malaysian restaurants in Perth. They serve delicious Kueh at the front, and are usually sold out quickly. They are so many different types of authentic Malaysian meals there. This is the best place to get Malaysian food.
A nice exciting little Malaysian cafe! Loads of food to choose from, I didn't know which to choose! They also serve Malaysian sweets! Don't have a favorite dish just yet as I'm still going through the list. Can be quite crowded, but there's plenty of seating. Friendly staff.
Great food great service
Had a wonderful lunch in this small bustling restaurant
We will definitely visit again soon when in perth and will let our friends know
We came on a Sunday arriving near midday and it was busy. However didn't wait long for a table and they were quick to help with high hair for toddler (which was surprisingly clean compared to most eateries!). Food was standard, though I did think it was odd they don't do laksa but offered curry noodles. Unlikely to return, not because we didn't like the food but a peanut allergy toddler started to get red around the lip after just plain rice...they do state on their menu they can't guarantee their food to be allergen free.
Been here a couple times and have consistently gotten a nice meal
Price is not overly expensive. I highly recommend people to order the fried chicken wings.
I normally come here for the bak kut teh. I love the flavour, it’s not as strong as what you would get in Malaysian but that’s what I like about it.
The one thing that could be improved is the rice. The rice tend to be a little dry.
A fantastic selection of kuihs! Love the yam cake, peanut mochi, steamed yam bean dumplings (chai kuih), sesame balls, and the list can go on. Have tried both their lunch and dinner menu. Quite enjoy their Nasi Lemak and Wat Tat Hor. Some interesting dishes- Sizzling Pan Mee and Curry Chee Cheong Fun. Bak Kut Teh and Pork Belly dishes have great flavours, but could be better if the meat was a bit more tender.
Overall, food is reasonably priced and service is friendly. A great place for a quick, simple takeaway or meal.
Authentic Malaysian food at reasonable prices. Can be quite crowded at times, however it's one of the few places you can have a pretty authentic Malaysian breakfast. Also a good selection of Malaysian "kuih".
I've tried the roti canai which is nice and flakey. Curries here are decent too.
Came by late on a Saturday night for dinner.
Staff were friendly, food was okay. The curry was average, with very little meat and a lot of bone. Then again, price is not too expensive for these dishes.
Great clay pot chicken rice and curry Laksa. I'm not usually a clay pot rice guy but the flavours were on point. Wouls definately come back to try more dishes. Kitchen closes quite early so better make it here early.
We tried the claypot chicken rice as one of our friends recommended it. It was a great choice, the portion is enough for the two of us and it is flavorful. There's a lot of ingredients in it with salted fish, Chinese sausage and good chunks of chicken. The crispy rice at the end was amazing too. However there are some tiny bones from the chicken so you do have to get used to it and some other dishes on the table took a while for them to make.
Good place for breakfast with teh tarik and poridge, perfect in cold weather
