They changed their chef 😫 The taste is not as good as before. The style of cooking is different. No more nice garlic chicken with crispy skin. No longer recommended anymore.

A small but enjoyable chinese restaurant. Staff provides service with a smile, which is very nice. It serves lovely fried rice with lup chiong. Fried hot plate garlic chicken is also very nice. The only down side is there is not many parking place. Shouldn't be a problem for take away but would be an issue for dine in with large group.

This place used to serve very good Chinese food, but the food quality has gone downhill in last months. Went there last week and ordered our usual sizzling fish dish and tried their new pad thai. Both were not edible. Sad to say but I won't be coming back.

Take away delivered to me was barely luke warm and not very nice at all, the special fried rice was a dirty brown colour and only 2 prawns in the whole container. The meat in sweet and sour pork was over cooked and dry and tough. Never again.

We had a wonderful experience at Wah Sun Chinese Restaurant, the staff are very friendly, the meal was delicious and fresh, full of flavour and the restaurant is very clean. This was our first meal experience here and we will be coming back again. Thank you to the owner for your hospitality.

First time I've dined here in years since it changed hands. Nice to see the menu hadn't really changed and all my old favourites were still on there. I ordered a bunch of my old favourites: deep fried garlic beef, garlic fried rice, chicken omelette with gravy, bbq beef and steamed rice. All dishes were pretty cheap in comparison to other Chinese restaurants. The mains I ordered were $13-14.<br/><br/>Deep fried garlic beef is unique to this place - marinated strips of crumbed garlicky schnitze, deep fried and served with a garlic dipping sauce on a bed of wonton skins. It was a little on the tough side but tasty. The garlic fried rice is another dish I haven't seen at other chinese restaurants and it was just as good as I remembered. I loved the chicken omelette so much, perfect cooked and soft. The bbq beef was the same flavour as I remembered it but was swimming in sauce.<br/><br/>Would definitely return.

Ordered dinner for 3 from here this evening.<br/>It Was the most awful, disgusting, old greasy fried food I have ever tasted.<br/>Thrown it all in the bin. Wouldn’t even give it to my dog.<br/>Do not go here for food - disgusting....

We ordered vegetable curry, tofu veg clay pot, veg fried rice, chips and spring rolls. Everything was amazing. It really reminded me of how Chinese takeaways do it back home (England) rather than the typical Aussie approach. Fresh, crunchy veggies too. It arrived quite quickly via the Eat Now app. Will return very soon!

Deception and deceit. The site says they are open 5pm until 11pm. I called to order food at exactly 10pm and was told they are closed, wtf? That's perth for you I suppose...

Opening time are wrong. They are not open for lunch on Tuesday as listed on Urban Spoon. I just drove out there for lunch and they were closed. Suggest potential customers ring first and check opening times. The food here is good when they're open.<br/><br/>In most of the Northern Suburbs it is hard to get lunch on Monday's and Tuesdays. We then went up to Coventry's Market and about six out of eight restaurants along the front were closed. On a Tuesday at lunch time!<br/><br/>Unfortunately, Perth is hardly the bustling tourist destination that the ads claim it is. For about half the week you're lucky if you can find anything to eat before 5 pm or after 8 pm.... except for Big Macs... argh.

This is a wonderful family restaurant and recent change of ownership has seen improved decor and menu. It is superbly priced and the food, according to my Asian wife who knows food very well, used the best ingredients and found the right flavour. We will be coming back again to this unassuming, rare find. Highly recommended for an excellent Chinese night.

First visit for us, on my Mum's recommendation. We and here for our family birthday dinner for my son and this beautiful restaurant didn't disappoint! The food was incredible, the freshly renovated building was clean and bright, the service was perfect, the food reasonably cheap. We overdoes a party of 8 for just over $100 and we had ordered far too much! I cannot fault the Wah Sun on a single thing. Thankyou so much, we shall return very soon!

Wow - like old times. Had been going to the restaurant for quite a number of years, but it was falling into disrepair, and was dark inside. It gave the impression of being dirty. We stopped going there about 5 years ago for this reason. <br/><br/>Now the restaurant has been renovated inside and out - and what a difference. The menu is still extensive, and not expensive. There were 6 in our group, and we ordered a variety of dishes. The food was yummy, and was freshly made. The dishes arrived together, and one was nicer than the other. We took the left overs home, and we had a great lunch the next day! We were most impressed with the eal, and will be back shortly. It will again become our "local"

Lovely. The food has a good flavour unlike many others. Service is good. Staff is friendly. Lil pricey though but worth it... I would definitely go again. The meat is well cooked and its juicey.

I haven't been here for a while & this is my first visit seeing the change in premises. Definitely a change from the red brick with the new neutral based colors and modern decor. The food appears to be as good as I remember and the service is friendly and efficient. Judging by the number of patrons here during early evening dining suggests although a change of owner it's still popular. I do kinda the old red brick but looking at the expanded menu suggests I'll be back soon.

We used to be regulars for takeaway here, but they've gone downhill. The final straw for us was hair in our food two weeks in a row, we won't go back again.

Nice local chinese restaurant. Everytime we go there, it's always soo quiet for some reasons... i guess it's because most people would get takeaway coz it's soooo hard to find a parking there.. there are pretty much only a few bays in the front and the parking lots across the road<br/><br/>but anyways.. it's good so you can actually enjoy the experience unlike many other chinese restaurants... <br/><br/>the whole place is pretty relaxing.. with music playing softly in the background...<br/><br/>the food is nice.. some are quite pricey but it's worth it I reckon.. the serving is big.. you pay what you are given pretty much..<br/><br/>recommended for a quick Chinese meal =)
