Review Tasty Momo Nepalese Restaurant - Perth

Worth visiting if you are craving for authentic momos, their tandoori momos are so delicious and can remind you of North Indian street style food. Had been there many times and had a great experience, a bit busy on Fridays so don’t think to walk-in if you are more than 2 ppl. Service is good, highly recommended.

What a soulful food we enjoyed last night! Everything was cooked to the perfection. We enjoyed every single bite thoroughly. The staff served the meal with great love. We had late dinner and the Chef let us enjoy it instead of making a hurry to close the restaurant. We had a good conversation with him about Nepalese culture and before we were about to leave he mentioned that the staff wanted to leave early but because it was our first visit he made sure we enjoy the food they cooked with love. What touched our heart is the kind service of the staff who refused to take money from the homeless person even when was willing to pay. Pure love no business

A gem dining place found in the local suburb of Dianella. Food was absolutely divine and cooked to perfection with just the right flavour. Every dish was very enjoyable. Staff were all lovely and friendly. This is by far our favourite Nepalese/Indian restaurant in Perth.

Good food. Chicken lollipops could have been better. Jhole and Sadeko Momos were great. Also great and prompt service.

Finally get to tried this restaurant! Never tried Nepalese food in my life and decided we should give it a go to expand our world of food. Thank goodness it's a good choice. The time you walked into the shop, you know whoever run this restaurant put their heart into it. From decoration to music from utensil to foods, they have given their best to the shop. Both dishes we selected were great especially their chow mien is pretty impressive (thought it will be similar to Chinese chow mien but its very different and we both like it a lot) Momo is a surprise to us as well, again we thought it will be similar to Chinese dumplings but its not. The platter is a good choice if you want to try a bit of everything, quite special but one of the pickles was a bit too salty for us. The bean soup is lovely and we love the dessert too. OK it's another restaurant on our worth coming back list. (^^)b

Very busy Tuesday evening there, we booked table in advance as we heard about this place MOMO’S, it was really superb tasty momo’s. And something deferent we found the tandoori momo. The food what we ordered was very freshly cooked, service is very friendly . only my recommendation to the chef’s the spices level in each dishes of curry and tandoori items should be more .Keep the natural colours in mint sauce , we enjoyed very much .

Honestly disgusting food. Rip off for the low quality product they use. Very poor.

Picked up some takeaway here about 3 weeks back. My husband was surprised he liked the food (doesn't like Nepalese food, but likes Indian, even though there are more similarities than there are differences if you ask me). The staff were friendly, the order was ready quickly, and the prices quite reasonable for the size and quality.

Dined here last night and were delighted with the varied menu and very tasty dishes. Am now in love to their momos - just lovely little morsels to start dinner. All our party raved over the lamb cutlets and the onion bahji. Hadnt tried chicken coconut curry before but loved this and their vegetable korma was delicious. We tried the lamb biryani instead of plain rice and this really added to our meal. Great breads too. This place is a winner and we will be back very soon.

We came here on a Groupon deal and were not disappointed. The entrees and desserts were incredibly tasty. The curries we chose as main course were a little mild for my liking, but were tasty, nonetheless (we'll ask for 'hot' instead of medium next time). The ambience could be improved if they dimmed the lighting a little, but the decor and music were spot on - they really add to the experience. To top things off, the service was exceptional: despite being quite busy, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Came here for dinner with a Groupon voucher.
It was great value and tasty.
The lady that served us was lovely.
The chicken dumplings were very tasty as was the lamb rogan josh and garlic nan. Mango ice cream was really refreshing and yum for desert.
We left totally stuffed. Great little local spot.

Our last minute choice turned out to be the best meal of the year. I can't believe this lovely little restaurant is almost around the corner and I've never noticed it. For starters we feasted on Baked Mushrooms, Piro Bangoor (stir fried pork belly), Aloo Chop(fluffy mashed potato cakes), Haku Chhiola(char grilled marinated lamb ), then mains Chicken Sizzler (Marinated chicken breast fillet grilled), Chowmien chicken/Veggie, Bangoor poleko (Pork belly marinated in apple juice), Khashi Ko Sekuwa (Tender goat pieces marinated overnight).
Then the guys finished off with Saffron Yogurt and Lal Mohan Hung yogurt mixed with saffron threads and served with Lal Mohan, which they said was worth coming back for itself. I highly recommend the bbq goat and the potato cakes, but everything I tasted was a delight. The service, the staff was fantastic. Parking outside the door & BYO. Couldn't ask for anything more. We will be back.

Food here is amazing. Do yourself a favour and go there. I'm a bit afraid to rate it so well - it will get too popular. Food is delicious, lots of it and very well priced.
