Rightio folks Stop looking I’ve found the best bloody pizza in Perth, don’t be fooled by the cookie cutter scooter parading posers of the franchise over the road that Can’t even cut a pizza properly let alone make a decent pie! Take it from me just make sure you go to uncle Ginos The best pizza I mean he even looks bloody Italian. I’m telling you this pizza was amazing fluffy yet crispy base with generous toppings and sauce. Soooooo good mate

pizza is great! seafood- fish is a bit dry im not happy with the garlic bread its like a frozen one from woolworths not worth the price but i will definitely return for the pizza so yummy 🤤

Uncle Gino’s has been an institution in Scarborough for 30 years or more. Great “old school” pizzas and epic pastas. A gem of the West Coast!

Don't go to this pizza shop i worked there for about a month approximately 10 years ago joe is the most dirtiest pizza maker in perth his hygiene habits are disgusting the shop was very dirty he also rips off his workers by paying them very poorly that is why his staff don't care he also pays off health inspectors av

Burnt and tasteless pizza, used to be amazing, will not order again.

Absolutely pathetic to put it quite simply, charging $1 per tap water bottle, then stuffing up prices on numerous things by over changing “by mistake”. Then when it came to pay he did not giving us a receipt maybe for tax reasons; while the owner was extremely rude to other staff and even swearing at several staff members in front of customers. Piss poor experience pizza was extremely oily and cheesy heart attack on bread ready to happen. Highly recommend not eating or even ordering here if I could give this place no stars I would!

Possibly the worst Pizza joint in Perth.<br/>Tried pick up, waited for a long time after I had arrived, received a warm, not hot pizza.<br/>Gave them a second try, foolishly went for delivery. Waited 80 mins for the order, which arrived cold and soggy. Was met with terrible attitude when giving polite feedback.

My wifes family have been going to uncle ginos for probably close to 15 years, after not going for about 3 years (due to moving to a different area) we have been 5 times in about 3 times. My favourite meatlovers topped with mushrooms and garlic! delish, the truffle gnocchi was beautiful, amazing! was tempted to order another bowl! the dining room is nothing flash, like literally. but the food is always been beautiful

This was probably the worst fettucini napoletana I have ever had; it had no flavour whatsoever.<br/>The lasagna my girlfriend had wasn't too bad, but nothing special either.<br/>The garlic bread was dry & lacking flavour too, so overall the food was poor.<br/>The lady at the front counter was nice but the old man who I presume is Gino was watching us like a hawk when we were discussing what we were ordering. It came across as very aggressive & not very welcoming.<br/>Poor restaurant & food, Gino. Where is that famous Italian love? Not here.<br/>

Customer here for over 15 years. Last night ordered three pizzas from the Uncle Gino's website, which uses a third party online system.<br/><br/>The delivery was prompt but incorrect. Ordered two jumbo pizza (meat lovers and Aussie) and family vegetarian. order arrived with three family pizza's. Two vegetarian and one marinara. Rang to check out why and was told that bad luck that was what came through from the online order company, and take it up with them tomorrow. Suggested I wanted to sort out then but was told bad luck and they hung up on me. Rang back and was told the same and that I would get my refund but they will never take an order from my phone number again and don't bother coming back.<br/><br/>That the service you like from your local "NOT"<br/><br/>Service company advised they couldn't help me with refund and that it had to come from Uncle Gino's!!!

Probably the worst chilli mussels I ever had, it has a strange taste, not fresh at all, maybe frozen? Whatever it was, definitely not going back.

Had takeaway pizzas from Uncle Gino's a few times. On this occasion I had the gourmet vegetarian, which was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced.

This place can be so hit and miss - Im not sure if they have two different chefs???<br/>The parma and the lamb shanks are usually good but I have not had much luck with the pizza or pasta. Its a good price and I suppose you get what you pay for!!!<br/> <br/>As i live local I will definately go back and give it another try as you always feel welcome!!

Disappointed!! Cheap ingredients! Pizza officially worst I've had in Perth! The quality of the cheese is really bad and not mozzarella! Don't let the Italian name Gino fool you! Nothing Italian about this place! Grubby looking establishment! <br/>Please stop giving Italian food a bad name.<br/>

Nice staff and great pizza / garlic bread, but unfortunately the garlic prawns were extremely salty and came with a serve of cold / soggy chips on the side.  Would possibly order again, but definetly not the prawns.

My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years and it hasn't changed in that time and that's the way I like it. The food has always been delicious! The chilli mussels are the best in Perth and the Uncle Gino's Special pizza is a staple at our family dinners. The decor hasn't changed in the 15 years I've been coming here but don't let that fool you! If you want a delicious, low-key pizza/pasta/cheap feed then this place is a treasure right in the heart of Scarborough. Definitely go here if you want a casual, delicious bite to eat. Also BYO beer and wine.

Terrible. Myself (28 weeks pregnant) and my one year old got severe food poisoning from their pizza. Ended up hospitalised. Visiting from Melbourne. Will not recommend to anyone.

My boyfriend and I finally decided to give this place a shot, as we live about 5 minutes walk. We were both so incredibly confused by our pizzas... Never really had anything like it. A frozen pizza from the supermarket would have been far superior. Incredibly dry, with little to no sauce. The base/crust was like cardboard. The meat lovers had this odd, shredded meat all over it, which was INSANELY salty. Kinda tasted like mashed silverside. They were both sprinkled with some type of weird, hard, dark colored cheese that was definitely not mozzarella. Perhaps a blend of cheddar and Parmesan? I got a BBQ chicken pizza that had this gross, liquid "feta" all over it. No idea what it was or how it ended up that way. I always feel bad rating small little family owned places badly, but man.. It was just not nice. I'm an awful cook and I could have made something way better. No buono.

Have ordered takeaway from there 3 times in past month. Pasta is brilliant and pizza is the best! <br/>The only thing u would say is they can improve on the garlic bread.

Unbelievably bad, avoid. Worst pizza I've had in a long time, potentially ever. $6 at dominos is a way better way to spend your money, so that says a lot. poor ingredients, overlooked, dry base and flavourless. Save you time and money and go elsewhere.

After having a really bad experience with Uncle Gino's on the bank holiday, the manager/owner apologised and we went back to have a pizza the next week. I'm glad we did because the pizza was completely different, so much nicer. The manager explained he wasn't working the bank holiday and these things happen. Glad we have it another shot.

Try the gnocchi truffle and mushroom there just the best <br/>Pizzas are great to gourmet Fishermans catch with squid rings king prawns smoked salmon spinach olives and mussels best I've tried

Disappointed after the reviews. Not a big fan of the cheese, more like limited cheese and Parmesan at that. Really didn't taste like mozzarella!

Never going back. My friends and I ordered 3 pizzas. 2 were delivered. We called to have the third dekviered,but we're given the wrong pizza. We called and they came bac. A third time and were incredibly rude and very aggressive. I felt threatened and will never be going back .

Worst Pizza. Pizza turned up and was burnt, dry and flavourless. Threw it in the bin after one slice.

No Good. Threw out half of the pizza..way too expensive and taste like mud.nothing was fresh at all.i highly recommend Pizzaca up the road from them.same price and good quality..

Not a fan. Soggy base, cheap toppings makes for a sub standard pizza. On the upside, good friendly service...

Remember when Homer is eating something super greasy and the paper turns clear? This essentially happened with the cardboard pizza box! Sadly this was a sad excuse for Pizza! Italians would cry their eyes out...We ordered hawiann, vege, mexican and chicken. They ALL tasted the same -even the mexican which suprisingly had no chilli/spice or jalapenos! Thankfully the chicken-sparce as it was-was decent quality and cooked ok. Wont be eating this again - even if we are dying of starvation<br/>Enough said-From an 8mth Pregnant woman, who would eat the proverbial outta a low flying duck!

Good Pizza!. We've had Uncle Gino's a few times now, always been fresh and tasty pizza.<br/>Not the best I've had in Perth, but a solid local pizza joint with fresh and authentic ingredients.<br/>The Mexican is a standout and family favourite.

Worst pizza ever!. I ordered 2 large pizzas last night from uncle Gino's. I just moved to the area. They were so dry and the cheese on top was solid and brown. I had guests over and we managed to eat one as we were starving. But couldn't stomach the second one even though we were still hungry. I didn't want to call to complain last night with friends here but I called today to explain. I had kept the second pizza and offered to bring it back for them to look at as something had obviously gone wrong. I expected them to say that they would bring a replacement and take the other one back. The guy just said I should have called last night and next time I order he'll give me a discount. At $36 for 2 pizzas and being next to I edible I expected a bit more good customer service. I've never complained about food before online or anywhere else but was pretty disappointed with how this went down. I'll never get a discount because I won't be getting pizza from there again. I was willing to forgive the dry, over cooked pizza this one time but can't forgive the lousy way it was resolved. I'm sure I was just unlucky last night but I'll never get to know. Unfortunate thing is we love pizza and probBly would have ordered from them at least 2or 3 times a week. I'm adding a photo. Even tough it's the next day I swear it looked exactly the same last night- like a day old pizza heated up.

Return customer. Asked my 20 year old where he would like to go for his birthday dinner, he said,"Uncle Gino's"! Was introduced to this place by a friend who had his 40th there. Have been back a few times, would like it to have been more. Always very satisfied with everything. Food is delicious and abundant. Comfortable, reasonable, and starting to be a bit of a tradition in our family. Shame we don't live a little closer. The again, maybe our waist lines are better off!!! :)

BEST CHILLI MUSSELLS EVER. I used to order chilli MUSSELLS from here almost every second day as I love them super spicy. Great value for money and great portions. Now we live south of river and nothing could ever come close to UNCLE GINOS. Wished they delivered this way I'd order every second day again yummmmmmm! And the lady that answers the phone is always letting me know of new items on the menu which I always get. Lamb shanks is super yummo. My bf loves the chicken Parma with spaghetti. I miss this place

Soup on pastry. Without doubt the two worst pizzas, full of oil with a thick soggy base that wasn't even cooked properly

INEDIBLE. The worst pizza I've ever had by a country mile. In fact, I'm inspired. I'm on a mission to find a worse pizza in Perth.

YUM CHILLI MUSSELS. I love the chilli mussels they are fantastic and fresh. Fantastic pizza and traditional garlic bread and hot chips are crunchy and tasty all in all its fantastic place for take out.

Best Pizza & Pasta north of the river. Ordered pizza from here and it was HUGE! (and I only ordered the Large). And tasted fantastic. They make a great Margherita and portofino. I learned that fetta tastes good on pizza too. I tried the House Garlic Bread and wish it came in their Jumbo pizza size. The delivery was much quicker than the 40 minutes advised- the delivery boy deserves a good tip.<br/><br/>Later on I dined in- the lovely smell of creamy Nicky's Prawns hit my nose as soon as I walked in and had to try it. Was fantastic. Chilli mussels are a hit too. And I had to get more of that house garlic bread ;) Great restaurant with lovely staff all round who looked after me well. Was good that they're licensed too. After the kitchen closed the manager stayed and kept making coffee and pizza up to midnight which was really nice. Ended up leaving with a family size Works to have for breakfast!<br/><br/>Great for dining out with family & friends, delivery for a cozy night in watching movies, or pickup when on the way back from the local pub having a few drinks. Great Italian fare and wonderful staff- and right near the beach!

Great Pizzas. The Mexicans, lamb and the works are the best. Juicy,rich and wonderfully flavored.

Yummy Uncle Gino's. We live in Scarborough and this is our favourite pizza restaurant. Yeah the decor is daggy but good fun at the same time. I like the old Italian posters on the wall. This place books out, so they are doing something right.

Best pizza I've had in Perth. <br/>Never soggy, and so delish.<br/>The decor is a bit average, but sitting in the "shed with rollershutters" as one so eloquently wrote isn't far off the mark, but still near the beach, and the sunset with a extremely good pizza that I would (and have) drive from the other side of the city for.<br/>Chilli mussels are always good, and a large is huge, enough for 2 or more people. <br/>"Old school" pizza and pasta, so nothing really fancy, just really good eats.

Consistent good food and service. We're never, ever disappointed at Uncle Gino's. My kids love the pizza. Bruschetta is very good. We often order the Chilli Mussels, because time and time again it's consistently good. Service is always fantastic.

Bland pizza. Garlic bread was just a hot dog roll with cheap herbs. You can make ten times better at home with zero effort!

Tasty and Good value. We recently bought a Scoopon for two large pizzas and a large pasta. the voucher was fantastic value and the food was all lovely. portafino and mxicano pizzas were delicious and tortellinni was creamy and fresh. I reccomend this for a takeaway anytime

Still Great Food. The guys here have feed me many times over the last 10 years. <br/>Its not fancy but its the food and the service I come back here for not the decore.<br/>I highly recomend Uncle Ginos.

Very disappointing! I ordered a gourmet pizza and chose fetta not cheddar cheese but when the pizza arrived it was covered in cheddar with no fetta to be seen. When I queried this I was told the fetta had melted and that all pizzas are served with the cheddar even though it states on the menu a choice of fetta OR cheddar. This ruined the pizza for me because it was greasy and rich and very unhealthy. I was not offered a replacement meal or any amount off the bill. To be fair, the garlic bread and lasagna were both satisfactory.

Cheesy old school pizza. People are friendly at this family run business. decor is definitely outdated and a little cheesy but this is what this place is about.. old school cheesy pizzas with a little grease- come here if you want takeaway and not too concerned with being healthy.. Tried the marinara pizza- the whole pizza was nice except the oysters that had a strange fishy taste to them..

Oldie but Goodie!!. This restaurant is straight out of the 70s...if you are looking for a hip joint with funky decor this is not the place HOWEVER if you want value for money and good Italian pizza this is the place to go...the Mexican pizza is my favourite!!

Great. Really tasty, honest, italian food. The gourmet pizzas and chilli mussels are the stand outs for me. It's open fairly late too so it's ideal for a cheeky feed on the way home from the pub!

Brilliant Basics. Good, honest, pizza and pasta. Spaghetti aglia olio is one of the best I've found in Perth. Pricing is what it should be for a bowl of pasta.<br/>Perfect if all you want is a good meal without the fancypants extras.
