Review Woo Jeong - Perth

Delicious authentic Korean food. For $25-35 ph you can have an entree to share, main and drink. They set it up so you can get your own water and napkins. Side dishes they top up for you when you ask (we got served 6 different types). Place was popular with families, couples and friend groups.

There were varieties of authentic Korean dishes here. Many of the dishes were a bit sweet and flavourful. This had attracted a lot of young adults. The dishes we had were quite delicious. We were lucky to get free fresh and sweet mandrine orange. The service was good. The staff was warm and friendly. This corner restaurant had good ambient and was clean. Enjoy!!

We ordered the bibimbap, kimchi pancake and kimchi stew. Bibimbap comes with minced meat which actually works well, and it was quite yummy. Kimchi pancake was the star of the show, crispy outside and so so flavourful (pls try it)! the stew was also bloody good, we ordered extra spicy and they surely delivered! Bonus, the staff are also extremely nice which makes the entire dining experience so pleasant!

I ordered the kimchi jjigae. It was really tasty and traditional flavour. I also purchased the side-dish pickle veggie from next door. ( I think they are the same team. ) Ajoomma gave me some orange for free:) Strongly recommended~

All the food here were delicious. We had Ttokbokee, Jjol-myon, Kimbap and Pork Katsu. Condiments were plentiful and unique. Our most favourite was their Ttokbokee. Service was fast and friendly.

We received super authentic korean cuisine, rich in spice and flavour. Out tteokbokki was soft and not too chewy, the spice to sweet was perfect. The kimbap was really surprising as it was balanced well and the pickled radish added a good sweet to it. The kimchi soup broth was spicy but yum. All the food and sides felt like well-made hearty and home cooked. Can't wait to come back!

Possibly the closest to authentic korean tasting foods! Lots of variety of side dishes, the tonkatsu was well cooked, crispy and savoury, sauce was delicious salty and sour tasting. Soondae soup was super yummy too. Broth was nice, I cannot wait to come back here again and try all the other soups.

A very unassuming restaurant tucked in the middle of two shops. Would not have noticed it if I was not specifically looking out for them. They have a very good selection of soups which must have all been cooked and boiled for hours as it is so fragrant. However, I found their other dishes not as outstanding compared to their soups.

A very interesting little Korean canteen I should call it. Had the fish roe seafood soup (Altang) takeaway and it was vacuum sealed, not a drip spilt. It was nice warm spicy and had lots of fish roes in fact too much for a lone diner. The seafood pancake was yummy and the bulgogi Bibimbap has more meat than any other places. Amazing we’ll try something different next time

Great value, fabulous comfort food, excellent service. Worth waiting for a table. BYO wine also a hit. Definitely try the pancake and the stews.

Dined in on a cold winter night with a friend of mine. It is a small shop buzzing with customers. We waited for about 15 min for a table in the restaurant as it was freezing out there. We ordered beef broth soup with rice and sizzling hot plate marinated pork slice. It is also serve with a few plates of small Korean dishes. One particular dish that caught my attention is the acorn jelly. It is a traditional Korean dish that is not easily sought after in Perth. Overall food and service is great and will definately be back.

It's a cosy, cheap and cheerful place with a plain but lively interior. The Korean and Japanese offerings result in an incredibly diverse and appealing menu - so much choice and possibility. The simple salmon sushi and takoyaki were excellent, so on this visit the Japanese selections shone. The seafood, tofu soup was a little bland and needed some additional seasoning and chilli. My partner also enjoyed his soup, which conversely was very spicy. Definitely worth exploring the menu further.

Verdict: Friendly and good, am a regular here.I love their spicy soup and the free side dishes are a plus plus. Portions are considered normal to large, it should be filling for one. Food here are quite authentic. Owner is very friendly too. I would drop by just for lunch whenever I am craving for Korean food. Yummm...
Try their pig's stomach soup / seafood tofu (spicy) soup and the beef soup! Good during cold days~

I love love love the soup from here! This is where I go whenever I have cravings for Korean soup or a bowl of hot soup. Free kimchi top up is a plus. This is probably the best place to have pig's stomach soup.

Small himey restaurant with limited seating but great home style food. For $40 we couldn't eat another thing. It was so tasty.

Absolutely love this place. One of the most authentic Korean restaurant. Food tasted exactly similar to the ones I had in Korea. Their knuckle bone soup (do ga ni tang) and chicken katsu are to die for! Oh and the owner is such a bubbly and happy person. Really love this place.

Hidden gem! Very small shop front cafe
with mixed Japanese and Korean menu. Very friendly, genuine cuisine, very good sized serves. Large mixed Dosirak bento boxes a real treat. Only about six tables - I probably shouldn't do this review as I won't get a table next time! Seems a great spot for an...
