Our family's favourite breakfast/brunch place. Price is very reasonable, service is quick and food is fresh. The chicken curry in the nasi lemak was well spiced, but rice might need more coconut milk. Love their rujak and the fritter.
Casual small diner with local mamak style food. Nothing fancy but atmosphere is good and feels like I'm at mamak for breakfast!
For the beef brisket noodle (dry) alone, it deserves 5/5 stars. Other dishes we ordered just brings down the rating. Good portion size for the price. The roti canai with chicken curry was good but the Nasi lemak was a let down. The Sambal tasted a bit tart. I prefer the sweet and spicy Sambal.
Wow!! Fantastic authentic Malaysian food & staff SO friendly & helpful. We had Curry Laksa, Penang Kway Teow, Curry Chicken Rice with Roti ..... all amazing!! 5 Stars!!!
Very busy lunchtime! Took about 30 mins from order to meals but worth the wait.
Generous portions and flavourful.
I wish the Assam laksa had more fish pieces but otherwise the flavour was great.
Beef brisket nil complaints at all.
Great suburban hangout for hot comfort food on these wintery days.
Great little Malaysian eatery. We had as a laksa, cendol, and the homemade kaya toast, all were great! Good variety of food on menu. Close to Rossmoyme high.
Can’t complain about the quantity and pricing. Local Malaysian hawker food just the way it is in Malaysian kopitiam. Friendly staff that knows regulars
We have been here multiple times now and it is one of the few Asian Cafe’s who cooks consistently. The Hokkien noodles and ying yong hor fun are definite favourites of ours. They do Malaysian coffee and teh as well. Will come back for more.
That’s my favorite Malaysian restaurant in Perth. Pretty good. Good staff good service. I will recommend fried horfon with egg source I think it’s better than hongkong cafe’s
This place was packed when we arrived Friday lunch. Service was very fast and the restaurant was super noisy. The food was excellent! We definitely over ordered because we got very excited seeing the menu...we wanted to try everything. We were overwhelmed when the food started coming out as the portions were quite large and great value for money. We ordered hofan with egg sauce, rojak, lo bak roll, bak kuh teh, fried squid, noodles (dry) with roast pork, crispy fried chicken rice, and roti canai. Every dish tasted authentic and had a lot of depth in flavour. I was looking forward to trying asam laksa but they ran out so will have to try next time. Highly recommend this little place as we definitely will be back to try all the other dishes.
Love and hate this place. Love it cause the food is great and is the most authentic (Malaysian Chinese) in Perth. Their wait staff named Grace is amazing and makes you feel appreciated as she tries to take time and have a chat whenever possible. Other staffs are great too, all very hardworking. So many delicious dishes but believe or not, their plain fried noodles is my favourite. Hate it only when I can't get a table! Aaaargggh! Gong Xi Fa Chai!
Authentic Malaysia food!!! Definitely will come back to try their other dishes 😋 Teh tarik wasn't the great one, it would be best if it has more tea flavour in it.
Had prawn noodle again but the soup a bit diluted. I had to add a lot of samba yo make the soup to have taste. Kopi ice was good.
Tried their asam laksa few days ago, too sour and not to my liking of taste. This would go 1 star for asam laksa😪
Good location easy to find with easy parking. This place is quite big. Great for families, groups & couples. Service is fast. Food is good with big serving and you hv varieties to choose from. We ordered 5 type of dishes, dining in, and another 4 different types, take-away; hence the 5 stars (taking location, service, the taste of the food & the size of their serving into consideration). They priced their food reasonably fair as well. This place can be crowded especially weekends & lunch time. If that happens, walk in to write your name on a waiting list pad. You can decide to stay and wait or come next time.
This is the right place for Malaysian style breaky. We grabbed ☕️ hot kopi, kopi O and very yummm Kaya toast. Besides, they also provide legit hawker cuisine here!!
The fried carrot cakes that came without chilli were not bad.
The popular Ang Ku sweet dessert has mung bean in it. The skin could be made of wheat flour or sweet potato flour or combine with glutinous flour. You may wish to check with them any used of peanut oil or peanut powders for the cooking if you are allergic to peanut. (2021-07)
The curry puff here was a bit like a traditional Tamil curry puff with a single thick level of soft skin and some spices but very mildly spicy. Try it and you will know what I mean. (2021-03)
Love this place! Open very early for breakfast. Excellent prices and portions. Fantastic foods and service.
Their Coipan & kue ku are one of the best around.
Highly recomended.
Chicken & century egg is one of my favourite.
There's parking time restriction for the spaces infront of the restaurant.
Delicious, finally found a suitable place to eat breakfast, the recent cold day, to a hot bowl of soup, too satisfied
Pan mee and reddish cake were the best. Very goos price. Niiice and authentic drinks!!!
