First time been here and already loving it! Service from the young lady was fantastic Food portion was huge and generous with ingredients We ordered 3 dishes and they were both fresh and delicious The price was very good compared to other Chinese restaurants. Far more better than some so called authentic restaurant who can't keep up the standard and keep raising their price and dropping the service. Definitely will come back and take my other friends here. Thank you for the service.

Amazing place for good food. Food comes fast and serving sizes are really good for the price. Nice and clean, which is always one of my priorities and friendly staff. If you're looking for a dish, the sizzling pepper beef is a great place to start.

I eat here about once a month with an old friend. Food is always excellent and exceptional value for money. Always busy on Fridays at lunch. Good service (probably helped along as my friend is a fluent Mandarin speaker!)

My parents booked reservations for my birthday. Had a lovely meal, the staff were so friendly. We ordered the banquet so we could get a variety of dishes to try. I personally loved the Mongolian Lamb. Thanks Guys

This local Chinese resterant is fantastic. Friendly staff and good food makes this place fantastic. Never a problem when I go here.

First time here with a family group get together. We ordered the banquet for 8 people. Food was very good and tasty with large serves. Reasonably priced. Service from average and slow at times but overall the total experience was above average.

Sun On has been a family favourite for a long time, food is always served hot and fresh, and the best ingredients are always used, service is 10/10 If in morley you have to stop in and try it for yourself. Bus station is very close by.

What amazing customer service and delicious food again from our Favourite local tonight. Accidentally they forgot one dish from our large order tonight and I called them to double check. We went back and they promptly made the missing dish (special fried rice) and gave us extra spring rolls and some money back! They catered to our dietary requirements without any hassle for this large order. Small businesses like this one are really trying to please their customers during these difficult times. We will always return. Thanks to all the staff 😇🙏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been going to this restaurant for many, many years with a variety of friends.  We have never been disappointed,  the food is great, the prices are low and service is appropriate for the type of restaurant.

I found the experience enjoyable, the staff was lovely and the good was amazing for the price you pay. I ordered the chicken and salt and chill pepper which was crispy with the perfect amount of chilli. I also ordered the combination kway teow and it was amazing!!! Couldn't recommend anything more! And my total was under $40 for two people.<br/>definitely recommend!<br/>

Great Chinese restaurant with friendly service. Were able to accommodate my fussy taste by allowing me to swap items here and there to make a dish for me. Complimentary oranges after the meal was a nice way to finish the meal.

Sun On is a gem tucked away nearby the Morley Galleria. It has a traditional Chinese-themed interior and played traditional Chinese music as background. Food is amazing-I love sizzling beef my boyfriend loves the lychee and pineapple duck and the deluxe ice cream. The food portion is generous and staff are friendly!

Been going here since i was four. It is amazing i always hated chinese and they always catered for my needs. And since i was 18 i liked chinese and the sun on is the most yumiest chienese restaurant ever. I recently went here for my 25th birthday and i was full and they staff are so nice. I always have fond memories of julie singing happy birthday to my grandma :)

This is a very good value chinese restaurant with ample servings and tasty dishes. The lady running the front of restaurant is most pleasant and efficient. Would go there again.

It's been a few years since I've been to Sun On. The last occasion was when I dined in with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the food. I've always found suburban Chinese restaurants to be a bit hit and miss - some are woeful, some are ok, and a few stand out above the rest. It's often down to the dishes ordered too, but the problem is you don't know unless you're a regular customer what they do best. <br/><br/>In the mood for Chinese food on a Saturday night, we ordered chicken and cashew nuts, vegetable omelette, nasi goreng and chicken and sweet corn soup. The nasi goreng - unusual to find that in a Chinese restaurant - was actually a notch above the special fried rice. It wouldn't compete with an Indonesian restaurant's version but was tasty enough with a chilli kick. The chicken and cashew nuts was the normal affair with a generous serve of chicken. The vegetable omelette came with a side sauce which really lacked flavour. Although I expected the omelette to be bland, the sauce was a disappointment. I've made an omelette sauce myself at home, and I think it was oyster sauce that was missing from this one. I had to add some Sriracha sauce to make it a bit more interesting. <br/><br/>The chicken and sweet corn soup was perfect for a light lunch the next day. I've always liked this soup as it's quick and easy to drum up yourself at home, and just the thing when you feel like something light.<br/><br/>Overall, the Sun On meal was ok, but I'd order something with a bit more zing in it next time. I remember ordering a spicy chicken dish previously and really enjoying it. I'd forego the omelette - the best vegetable omelette I ever had was at Wong's on Wellington St in West Perth; that was a standout. Overall, Sun On didn't stand out, but to be fair I think my choices of fairly mild food had a lot to do with that.

This is pretty good Chinese and I feel lucky to have it so close by. It is your average Chinese dishes but it is all nice and tasty. Reasonably priced too. They make up the orders fast so it is a great take away option. I have been eating here for about the last 7 years and it is always consistently good.

Disappointing Mother's Day. After booking more than 2 weeks in advance for 6 o'clock, we ordered not long after as we could see they were getting busy we waited and we waited. After asking several staff members how long the food would be, we were told " We are busy" numerous times. The owner finally said 10 minutes, well that came and went several times over. We eventually got our food at 7:28pm. Only because we said if it wasn't out by 7:30 we were leaving. They threw the dishes on the table and were very rude about the whole situation. No apology at all. We won't be rushing back there if this is there best effort. Maybe they should concentrate on the people in the restaurant instead of take aways!!!!!!!

We tried Sun On as a little change from the Ming Dynasty. Found that the waitresses couldn't find a smile or just didn't want to be there. Won't be going back. The service was appalling!

The Best Chinese Restaurant in Perth. We have been customers of the Sun On in Morley for nearly 40 years - when the parents were the owners . We are now regular customers as individuals and as an extended family of this lovely, homely restaurant where the food is always consistently good, the prices excellent value, their lunch time specials ever popular. I am not surprised seeing it has a 90% approval rating. The owners are always welcoming and polite. Cindy always has a smile on her face to welcome you - and even on a busy lunch time manages to serve all the customers efficiently & professionally - many times she is on her own with a room full of patrons.. It is our regular restaurant when we don't feel like cooking a meal at home. Would recommend the Sun On to everyone - and have done so..

After going to sun on since late last year, it has become one of my favourite place to dine if i want chinese food. Give them a try you won't regret it!

Sun On - Overall a good honest Chinese. My wife and I have been dining at the Sun On for years. We actually prefer it now over other Chinese in the area as the dishes are not as oily or floury. Good fresh ingredients, good preparation and the service is friendly and attentive. You wont find a much better Chinese in Perth dish for dish pricing. Only a small restaurant but this gives it a more intimate atmosphere although furniture and decor is not flash.<br/>Restaurants like this have been around for decades because always give good value for money for the average punters night out.

I have been eating here since a small child and it is the best Chinese I have tried many places but nothing compares to this Chinese :)

I've been eating at the Sun On for over 25 years. I now live on the East Coast n can't wait to eat Chinese here every time I come home. Greatest Chinese in Australia.

Superb. Great food. The best San chow Bo in Australia. Fresh food no MSG very tasty. Try chilli chicken with cashews and dry chilli. Highly recommended for honest food and service

This is fabulous fresh food....u have to try the honey chicken. ...and the sambal beef if u like it hot....Cindy the hostess is a genius....never gets order wrong. ..and doesn't write it down.....omg...it is highly recommended. ..by me and all my friends and family

Sun on!. The food here is very good service is great although every time I go there to order the young chinese lady laughs at me but she knows my order now so I don't even have to tell her what I want even when they stuffed my order up the gave me a free coke and prawn crackers overall great service would recommend!

THE BEST CHINESE !!!. I have been coming here with my family for as long as i can remember, the service is fast and the food is amazing, you dont wait forever for it and if you order a meat dish like chicken and tofu it isnt FULL of onion and bokchoy you acctually get alot of chicken and tofu i would recommend this to anyone :) great place for families as you can take young children :)

Yum!. My partner and I got the combination chow mien, fried rice and the king prawns to takeaway from here last night and everything was delicious! The lady who served me at the counter was very friendly and the service was really fast.<br/>Would definitely go back here again.

Hidden Gem With Fantastic Food. Absolutely adore this place, has some of the best Chinese cuisine around! We (me + hubby) first tried it out on a whim, figured it was worth a go - we were not disappointed and enjoyed a fabulous meal for a great price. Service is always excellent, atmosphere is lovely (almost feels like you're at a friend's house for a meal) and the food is brilliant, very tasty. Highly recommend this place if you've had a long day, don't feel like cooking, and want to enjoy some awesome food at a reasonable price.
