Review Honey Creme - Perth

Annie L
One of our go to places when the temperature is soaring high. We love their avocado yoghurt drink as well as purple rice yoghurt drink. Their soft serve is also delicious and they have a variety of flavours to choose from. If you dont fancy yoghurt drinks or soft serve. You can try their bubble tea. The place is quite small but service is quick and friendly.

My first impression on honey creme's bubble tea is that their pearls are so delicious. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea and it was def 10/10. It was extremely sweet, which is my kind of drink for sure

One of the best bubble tea so far, I love the bubble tea ice cream, the strawberry yogurt is really really nice, I was surprised on my 1st sipped, like woww, this is nice and fresh!!! The chocolate cookie drink (sorry forgot the name) is also really yummy. This is one of our favourite bubble tea place

Went here this morning (Thursday 14th April) and the lady working was super nice. Asked her to give me what she thought was the best drink and she did super well!! Loved the drink and the service!!

This place could easily be my favourite bubble tea place. They have some unique combinations and flavours. The brown suga sago is also so good. We had the strawberry bubble and bobo brûlée. The strawberry one had real strawberry in it and was not too sweet which was perfect and the brûlée had the perfect amount of sweetness too. Will definitely be back 👌

The ice cream is not as nice as typical soft serve, almost tasting like it is full of icy water. The syrup flavours are very bland in flavour and taste more of sugar than what they said they were. The price is also very expensive for what it is. It is no whisk creamery or gelato place. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

An interesting range of drinks and desserts. I came here specifically for the bubble milk tea ice cream. The milk tea ice cream tasted like original milk tea. The bubble tea ice cream also came with in house tapioca pearls (which were orange) as well as sugar syrup. I found that the sugar syrup made the ice cream a bit grainy. The flavours were reminiscent of milk tea and the pearls gave a nice chew to the dessert. sister got a milk tea ice cream with a huge chunk of honeycomb and brother in law got a brulee boba milk. The brulee had a crisp sugar shell on top which was interesting. Nice stop for desserts, both liquid or as ice cream.

Tried out new flavour "bobo milk tea ice cream" Very good! I can taste rich flavour of brown sugar. Yumm!

Honey Creme. The place for delectable soft serve, made with wholesome full cream milk and sweetened with honey. It is certainly nicer than Macca’s soft serve

Expect a wait. One person at the till, one person making orders means 5-10 minutes for your order on average. However, the ice cream will fix any soft serve craving and the milk tea soft serve one of the few places that do the flavour. Imagine bubble tea as a soft serve!

Bobo tea is just small tapioca ball bubble tea. The warm tarp is our favourite. Rich, warm milk with taro paste and soft, sweet sago.

If it was only a few dollars cheaper and quicker, I would rate higher.

❗️HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ❗️

I am always on the hunt down for dessert that aren’t to sweet so that I can enjoy the whole lot. Today I came across this place and decided to pop in and the first thing I saw before the menu was a sign that said that the ice cream in made from local milk and honey and it was made me feel less guilty 😂

I ordered the soft serve with the churros and it was delicious. We had to wait 10 minutes to get it but we didn’t mind the wait!

The ice cream was delicious and was weaved with two churros. This was overall AMAZING and the one thing i wished there was more of is churros and maybe come cinnamon sugar sprinkled on the ice cream!
Everything else was brilliant and will definitely be back.
I went there with my 2 friends and ordered their new item which is the mango mate. The mango taste old. Staff arent friendly too, not worth it for 7.20$ 🤮
Yummilicious
Went there today around 1pm. Staff aren't friendly at all. The drinks we had taste weird. And the bobo ice cream doesn't taste good😑. Carousel Honey Creme is so much better also the staff are friendly at Carousel.

Boutique ice creamery located in Perth CBD that serves soft serve ice cream laced with honey (Honey Comb) and soft serve with honey that has solid honey in it among other wonderful flavors.
Rafira
Really cute store, and nice staff. The ice cream is not very sweet and relies on toppings to make it sweet. The menu is varied with bubble tea, milkshakes and ice creams.
Comida
Delicious ice cream and tasty fruit juices. Loads of flavours and combinations to choose, my favourite being the milk tea boba and Tiramisu one. The new brown sugar boba drink is also super yum. Bit pricey but worth it!

I LOVE this place so much... it has become a regular Friday treat.
Friendly staff and super delicious soft serve ice cream.
My favourite so far- Bobo Milk Tea soft serve with honey pearls.
Worth also trying these soft serves: Thai milk tea; dark Belgium choc with freeze dried berries; Cornflake vanilla.
Belly heaven.
THE ILLUSIVE FEMME
Was expecting so much more as I’ve been wanting to come here for years! Caramel Popcorn was super sweet but tasty. Didn’t like the ice cream on its own though - too plain. Macaroon was boring - no flavour. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it. Won’t be back.
Food Mania
Love the berry fruit drink. But they do not have Mango and melon drinks due to not in season. They sell soft serve ice cream too. Must try next time.
Anh Le
The chocolate soft serve with macaron is amazing. Bitter sweet chocolate goes well with sour macaron. However if you have sweet tooth you may not like it because it's not sweet at all. Their normal vanilla has nothing special, topping with berry sauce.
Leslie Yapi
Tasty and creamy.
My favourite is comb honey. Its very subtle but on the right balance.
Second favourite is the one with popcorn, but popcorn is a bit too sweet for me.
Tiffany May
Very nice and refreshing flavour! Dark chocolate and milk ice cream twist with a giant dollop of honey syrup and a big chunk of honeycomb right on top!

The ice cream was delicious and creamy, not too heavy and certainly doesn't mask the honey. The honey really went well with both flavours of ice cream and the chewy waxy texture of the honey comb was superb. Loved it very much.

Very interesting flavours that balance out well and don't overpower each other.
AnotherAsianAbroad
Had the delicious pandan twist. Absolutely love pandan flavoured food and this was perfect on a hot sunny day in Perth. Staff was very friendly too

I've been here on several occasions. I have tried the original flavour with honey. The soft serve is very nice and creamy and the honey is really sweet and rich, the two complement each other well. The price is quite steep, but the serving seems small but is actually quite a lot because it is very creamy. The place is very aesthetic and cute, but limited seating. The service is very fast and the servers are very nice and always smiling.

Have also tried the drinks but not up to expectations. Tasted quite watered down but pretty aesthetic.

Overall, a very insta-worthy place, maybe share an icecream to save the price haha

Who would have thought a combo of soft serve icecream with honey would taste so damn good. If you dont like honey it can be replaced by salted caramel popcorn or fairy floss. Its pretty pricey but they use real good quality ingredients so it’s justifiable.
Ilovebeansprouts
Premium soft serve ice-cream with a denser texture than the ones you get from McD's or Hungry Jack's, yet creamy and smooth. There's a variety of toppings you can choose to go with your soft serve, and prices vary according to the toppings you choose.

Popcorn ice-cream is a crowd pleaser. The Organic Mixed Grains ice-cream sounded interesting, hence we gave it a go. We opted for the mixed soft serve with this flavour, which is a nice combination of the original and charcoal ice-cream, and the topping is a powdery type of mixture with small drizzles of honey.

Overall, soft-serve is lovely, though prices are tad steep. Service is friendly and welcoming.
The Weekend Foodie
We went and tried the halloween ice cream editions. A mixture of charcoal ice cream with the original flavour. I quite liked the charcoal flavour, the original, not so much. There was a piece of chocolate and a bit of honey combe on my ice cream, sam got a bit of strawberry sauce? Sam liked his.

The ice cream were approximately $6.5 to $7.5, im not sure why but cones are more expensive. The ice cream comes in a very standard cup, i reckon the same size as a regular maccas sundae? In between a large and a small? Anyway, very small for what its worth.

I did like the novelty though, and how they bring out different flavours, will have to think long and hand either we would go back due to the price range.

I wanted to give this place a 2/5 and sam wanted to give a 3/5 so we settled on 2.5.

*we were kindly invited

First time trying their dessert, bought their popcorn and dark choc, taste good and happy with it. Some downsides, waiting time and price which I believe they can work on it
Lamb Pickles
After having a foodie solo marathon, I decided to try their premium soft serve. I wasn't sure which flavour to try until I read that the cereal one was one of the best ones.

Other than being a tad expensive ($6.50) for a small serve, the ice cream wasn't too sweet so it balanced well with the crunchiness and sweetness of the cereal bits along with the honey. Somehow I wanted it to be more creamier.
DforDee
Great ice cream and flavours. Wished the portion size was bigger cause it's good! I had the bacon and chocolate flavored one. Yum! Definitely going back for more.
@Foodieguide_lily
One of my fave dessert spots in Perth! What can I say but they take the greatest care in every aspect. Compared to the other rip off dessert places near town, this one has high quality, great taste and excellent service. Straight from Korea, I'm a devoted fan - so much so that the owner now knows my face!

Not everyone realises that their soft serve is made from organic milk, sweetened only with local honey from the Swan Valley - so a bargain when it's barely a touch more to pay than the overrated ice cream in Northbridge where I feel ripped off in size, flavour and definitely service. If you've never been, start with the Creme Honey - a huge soft serve with a chunk of real honey comb and drizzled with honey to boot. Not being a huge honey eater, it surprised me I liked this so much but it's not excessively sweet as they rely on real flavour rather than sugar.

I've tried most things on the menu and loved them all. Maybe less the Valentine's Day special which had a lot of grape flavour, but everything else. My fave is the affogatto - which is also covered in choc powder. The matcha smoothies have a good hit of flavour, as does the blueberry. The caramel popcorn is perfectly crafted with properly coated and beautifully popped corn. Who can resist the bacon on a choc covered soft serve! I need to try to matcha affogatto next.

Make sure you grab a frequent buyer's card - who doesn't love loyalty rewards. Because like everyone else who I referred there, you WILL be back! ;)
LilMuncher
I love the variety of toppings and flavours. The honey and soft serve is a delicious go to flavour for me. Customer service is great as well.
Lady X
One of my favourite dessert places in Perth! The soft serve is not overly sweet and sugary and I like the subtle taste and smell of honey in the soft serve. My favourite combination is the original flavour with cereal milk as the crunchiness of the cereal compliments the creaminess of the soft serve

Looooooooove this place. Everyone needs to check it out because it is so worth it! The girl at the counter was super sweet and the menu items were reasonably priced. Need to revisit soon :)

Perth’s love of ice cream and gelato just keeps on growing! Korean favourite “Honey Creme” is taking over the world and their very first Australian outlet has opened up in Perth’s CBD. Honey Crème, found on Barrack Street between the Hay and Murray Street Malls, is a soft serve lover’s paradise. While having a wander around the shops, Little Chef and I popped in to see what all the fuss is about.

I was itching to tryout Honey Creme. Finally the opportunity came and I elected for the soft serve and caramel popcorn. Was very satisfied 👌🏻

Wanted to see what all the fuss was about. This cute little ice cream parlour greets you with a huge sign featuring all their deliciousness at the door. When you enter, they entice with a display of honeycomb under the glass counter.

The price is a bit expensive in my opinion but with their high quality authentic and organic ingredients, compared to else where, this is acceptable.

I'm a huge ice cream fan and the soft serve was smooth perfection. I had the honeycomb with original and milo twist soft serve. Possibly my favourite ice cream now of all time now

I have been to Honey Creme several times and I have always been a huge fan of their cereal soft serve! The first time I visited Honey Creme, was approximately 3 weeks after their opening. I had ordered the popcorn flavoured soft serve. They were generous in serving the popcorn but unfortunately, it was not to my liking as it tasted a bit stale. I was expecting the caramel popcorns to be crunchy. However, when I visited the second time, I decided to try the cereal flavoured soft serve and was mind blown by it! The cereals that they have placed on the soft serve are very crunchy and sweet. Ever since that day, I had been ordering the same flavour. I am very keen in wanting to try their milkshake though I do not fancy the fairyfloss as a topping as I think it would be quite sweet and difficult to eat. I wish they could make it more affordable as the pricing of the soft serves are quite pricey. The staff members were alright, some not particularly friendly especially when it comes to requesting for additional toppings and have said that you are willing to pay extras for it.

Was in the city and tried this place out. Had the honey comb flavored soft serve. Can't remember the name name for the other flavor but it contained popcorns on it. Each cost $6.90 in the cup.

Visually appealing. Ice Cream wise just the normal soft serve. Nothing special. I guess the toppings made the difference.

Somehow makes me think it could be borderline costly given we are paying mostly for the toppings. Mine was hollow in the middle as the soft serve I assume was swirled around form bottom to top. Cos this price I think it should also be filled up in the middle and not hollow.

Overall nice ambience and decor of the little store. Cute chairs and displays.
Some Like It Hot
Cute little venue but I think I made the wrong choice for me. Had the honey creme which was way too rich and sweet. The ice cream itself didn't have much flavour. Id give it another try for the novelty though that's why I haven't given it a lower score. Staff were really nice.
Sybarite
$5.90 pretty expensive for Original soft serve, but then pay a little extra and you have a world of delightful choices to struggle between. It is also HUGE. I loved the mild taste of the ice cream, not the cringe worthy sugar high of usual soft serves. Must come back to try the matcha milkshake with fairy floss!

This place has been open for a while now and every time I’m in the area, I say I will stop by for dessert. And every time, I stuff myself silly during dinner and have no room for dessert. I know, unheard of right?. This place reminds me of the Milk Cow pop up i saw in Melbourne because of the same exploding rainbow ice-cream cone display. Anyway…The soft serve is as creamy as they claim and it’s amazing! There are so many flavours on their menu to choose from. They are all pretty popular non-standard but standard flavours, e.g. popcorn, cotton candy, macarons, and pandan to name a few
StillDiscoveringFood
Cute place and lots of soft serve combinations. Had the Comb Honey $6.5. Whilst it had a nice flavour and presentation wise it looked fantastic I thought the soft serve ice cream was really plain if you got it by itself and overall I was not blown away by it. Also I thought it was really tiny for the price!!!
Hippo309
The one with cereal is yum! Nice, creamy, soft, not too sweet... Price is on the high side, though. Service was alright. The other flavors look tempting, but also looks really sweet.
PerthfectBreakfast
Honey Creme is exxy but the soft serve is pretty delish. Prices start at $5.50 for a cup plain vanilla soft serve. My tip is to get the affogato for $6.90 since a shot of espresso would normally cost $3.50+ anyway.
Perth Foodaholic
After a delicious meal at Palsaik (please see previous post) last week, a friend and I decided to have dessert at the much talked about Honey Crème. Now I had heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place – it appears that some people either really love it and have gone back numerous times to try different flavours, whilst others think that it’s overrated and is expensive for what it is – soft serve that they could get at McDonalds for 50 cents. So I decided to go there myself and make up my own mind. With a name like Honey Crème I was curious to see whether the soft serve was supposed to taste like honey. On the sign, it says soft serve made from fresh milk and sweetened by natural honey. The staff member there recommended the honey comb flavour as a first one to try, so that’s the one I had. My friend who had been there 3 times said that she had tried the popcorn one, the honey comb one and the deer xmas special one. She liked the popcorn one but I wondered whether it was because of the popcorn or the ice cream itself.

I think the ice cream wasn't that creamy. I don't think they put enough cream or milk. It was watery.

We tried the tiramisu which was basically just ice cream with cocoa powder. The comb honey was nice but a bit too sweet. There are better ice creamerie out there!
Jojostar
The texture of soft serve was creamy and light. Not too sweet/overwhelming considering that the toppings itself is already very sweet. It is however quite overpriced for a soft serve. It wasn't bad but it's not the best either.
Jh
Disappointing. Overpriced for such a small serve with minimal ingredients. One was just cornflakes & ice cream and it was tasteless. Maybe the rest are better but for that price, probably won't be back
Michelle
I wasn't quite sure what to expect from here after all the hype. The choices almost seemed overwhelming at first. The prices are a little expensive, but it does taste good. The honeycomb is soft and delicious, and the ice-cream is creamy.
Serena
I'm not really sure why there is such a hype with Honey Creme. I understand it is an overseas chain and it is always exciting when Perth gets something new, but I didn't think the ice cream was that special. I tried the caramel popcorn. it was nice, and if i was walking past the shop again with a craving for ice cream i would go in, but i don't think that I would leave my house specifically for Honey Creme again.

Being a lover of soft serve I couldn't wait to come check out this new shop in the CBD. Friday night came along and I popped in expecting huge lines but luckily enough a bit after 8 it was only a short wait. The shop is only small with 4 seats inside and 4 outside. Very clean and clinical inside. It's almost torture watching them make peoples orders and you're dying to get your hands one that soft serve. I got the honey comb and the caramel popcorn. Now that honey is the most amazing honey comb I've ever had. It literally dissolved in your mouth like fair floss would and tasted delicious. The popcorn was also very good. The cups look small but there's still a decent amount to leave you satisfied. While waiting another person left with a honey comb cone and it was huge, think I counted 6 swirls to create ice cream. I loved it but I'm still a huge fan of Mr Whippy nothing can beat double choc cone with flake
Foodie In Paradise
Finally get to try out this place after hearing some much hype about it. I had the organic cotton candy which was alright but nothing too special. Love the presentation and the icecream was not too sweet.
Overall, it is still worth trying out as there are so many different flavor to choose from. Perhaps slightly pricey but I would still like to try out the others next time.
FineDiners
I ordered the Cotton Candy Affogato and I loved it. The shot of coffee balanced the sweetness of the cotton candy/fairy floss nicely. Presentation is unique. Will try one of the other ones next time.
YumYumMum
OMG! Absolutely amazing ice-cream with a little bit of a difference. Organic and absolutely delicious. One child had the ice-cream with the candy floss and the other had the ice-cream with the honeycomb. The added honeycomb was possibly one of the best things I've tasted. We will definitely be back and would recommend highly!
Thekittaysmeow
Yum! I went the original because its always a good place to start... did not disappoint. Wonderfully creamy and perfect texture and a decent size cup too. It pretty much hit the expectations I had. My only complaint is the price $5.50 a bit on the pricier side, but hey every once in a while treat is not too bad. Will have to try a different one in a cone next time.
More Than Nourishment
The soft serve is definitely on the creamier side but nothing super amazing. The cereal crunch was very ordinary and honey popcorn was too sweet. It was good to try but for the price, I won't be going back anytime soon.
Asian's Taste
Wow..check this place ladies and gents. Recently opened. I think about 3 weeks old.
If you feel boring eating normal soft serve cone.😎
We had popcorn flavour and organic cotton candy. Love it. But pricey...
But can't complaint..free range milk and organic stuff too😍

Olivia Setiono
While the flavours were good, they weren't mind blowing. However when you take into consideration $6.50 for each basic cup (milk honey and milk cereal) its not worth the price.
Big Trev™
Tried Honey Creme today and whilst it was tasty it was brutally expensive. A small cup of soft serve with some honey and natural honeycomb on it for $6.50? Yeah nah. Maybe I'm missing something. With Gusto just a short walk down Murray St that does artisan spec creations in a larger serve for 5 bucks?
Williespants
Been waiting for this sort of ice cream shop to open up and glad it has. A bit on the expensive side for a small cup of soft serve with topping, but the cream is rich, smooth and you can definitely taste the quality difference compared to a 50 cent maccas cone. We tried the Dark Chocolate, Cereal Milk and Affogato with candy floss creations. Simple presentation, but love the flavour with the cereal crunch. Chocolate was a bit on the normal side. But the affogato is with a taste and fun to watch the coffee poured over the candy floss. Happy to come back.

I had walked past Honey Creme on my way to work and was wondering what this place was. An international chain originating in South Korea and Taiwan, Perth is the first store for their Australian venture. I made a visit during my lunch break to try some of their premium soft serve ice cream. Available in a cone or cup, there’s plenty of options from the menu to choose from. I selected the unusual sounding Bacon with Chocolate. Bacon goes with anything right? A bit steep in price but what isn’t expensive these days? Delicious creamy soft serve with a very slight honey flavour, the chocolate and subtle touch of saltiness from the bacon balances out any richness. I like the crunch of the bacon bits too. Yum! Screw winter, ice cream is good in any weather!

HONEY Crème just opened few days ago in the heart of Perth CBD. They sell variety of soft serves in cups or cones. On the plus side, the soft serve is really good, they are thick, creamy and delicious – you can really feel the soft texture gallivanting in your mouth. Staffs are friendly and informative too!

Coming with my family, we ordered 4 different types: comb honey, affogato, organic mixed grains, and the dark chocolate. The basics are all essentially the same: they are all using the same soft serve base but added different topping. Comb honey is the same soft serve + honey, affogato is soft serve + coffee, dark chocolate is soft serve + chocolate, you get what I meant.

Prices range from $5.50 for the basic (no topping) and $6.50 to $7.20 depending on your choice of topping. Personally I find it rather pricey and overrated. I mean, it is essentially just a soft serve. Yes it is of a better quality. However, is it really so much more different than the usual $3 to $4 soft serve with topping? Will I come back again? Not really, but I will probably come back to try their soft serve with bacon because, you know, bacon.
OnePointFive
Grand opening of Honey Creme in Perth was yesterday. They gave free soft serves for first 100 customers and next batch customers were given buy 1 get 1 vouchers. We finally got them after 40 minutes wait! Soft serve was deliciously creamy. I actually prefer no honey added coz it became too sweet. Price wise, starts from $5.50 for basic one. Keen to try their dark chocolate and affogatto next time.
