All staff there are so kind and friendly.
I love there.. ♥..♥
I popped into Mulberries after doing a bit of shopping in Morley. Progress St where the cafe is situated has long been a bit of a sad area, without much money being invested in improving the surrounds. Apparently the council is doing something about that and has installed some planter boxes, but it still looked in need of some TLC.
Anyhoo - lunch at Mulberries. The cafe, although clean, doesn't have inspiring decor and the display cabinet inside wasn't that tempting. Although there were some interesting options like zucchini slice, veggie frittata and bacon and egg pie, nothing looked fresh. I asked about the frittata and was told that it was 2 days old. Nobody wants to eat stale food, so I ordered a chicken, avo and salad sandwich. To be honest, I wasn't that optimistic and didn't expect much. I took a seat outside and noticed that there were several groups of people - local workers on their lunch break - dining in.
My sandwich was actually really good, and my long mac wasn't bad either. Let's say I was pleasantly surprised. The cafe does an all day breakfast so if I was in the area again I could be tempted to return. The service was very friendly and I guess if the cafe is being patronised by locals when there are many options a short walk away at Westfield Galleria, then it must have something going for it.
Yo VIP. Let's kick it.
Slice is straight up G, pure street and known in all the 'hoods. But not too often you'll find your boi out in this neck of the woods. Walking the streets with a saw palm from fending off the chicks, it's a tiresome burden and 8:30 in the morning so the hunger kicked. After a blessing from the holy fountain of seals and lost like a headless chook. Slice encounters a few Walter whites but needs a different kind of Cook. Slice in trouble 360 no-scopes all the locals that are off with the fairies. It was then that your boi found the unsuspecting cafe mulberries. Like John Travoltas hair in grease, my order was slicked. Then proceeded to excited the counter babe with an order of eggs Benedict. Waiting for my food, some crazy ass locals were definitely turnt, my cappuccino in a mug came out and tasted burnt. Then my food came out before I could reply to the 69 sms on my phone. Intrigued by its presentation, was as bitter as the coffee that the ham wasn't off the bone. My negative opinions are clear but from now I must halt. It was cheap, fast, tasty, and the freaks on the street aren't this cafes fault.
Great prices for excellent food. Whatever bread they are using for toast in the morning, is amazing!! My new fav breakfast spot. The vegetarian breaky is a must try. Tasty and good variety on the plate.
A great cafe for breakfast! Their muesli is divine and I love their chai latte's. I also enjoy their croissants and smoothies! The staff their are so lovely. I definitely recommend it to anyone!
I realky liked the foods and people who work in the cafe were all kind.
It's a 5 star for me all. B.... It's a 5 star for me all.
But.... There is one thing I want to say. These people are a bit special. Down to earth. Cultured. Polite. Funny. always very nice to all. Always nice to me. A flavor sensation if u will :) keep up the good work Lewis. Your very lucky have such talent work there :)
Bonaparte hae :)
Pretty OK. Chicken Omelette was tasty enough for my partner, The coffee I had was slightly on the burnt side but I enjoyed it anyway. Nice selection for breakfast and a good option to go to in Morley.
What a lovely little cafe tucked away in Progress Street, just a stone's throw away form Morley Galleria.
The portion sizes here are super generous, so make sure you're hungry!
I had eggs Benedict which were cooked perfectly. Sometimes I find the sauce too rich, but Mulberries really nail it.
My partner had the big breakfast and it was also delightful.
The coffees are great, as are the fresh juices!
Stopped in Mulberries Cafe today for a coffee and also had their eggs Benedict (with bacon). My order came out in a good time and the eggs were poached perfectly, hollandaise sauce with lovely. Served on thick cut toast, the bacon was tasty and not over or under cooked. I think this will be ok my list of cafes to visit for the future. Service was excellent, so polite and welcoming.
Amazing place went for breakfast bacon eggs toast yummy big plate service is great lovely place hidden gem 💎 yummy food will be back again
Generally the place is pretty good. Food took quite a whilst for bacon egg burger, which had the smallest side serve of chips ever. But burger was hot and nicely cooked. Only one kids menu item which is a bacon, eggs and toast serve. Little bit of improvement would really make a difference here
-Friendly staff member
-Clean and tidy
-Vegetarian options available which can also be made Vegan, limited options
-Delicious meal
-Plant based milks available
Cafe does not look that much from the outside. Food though was really good.
Had the mushroom and cream cheese croissant. Croissant was buttery and flakey. Lots of mushrooms with a good amount of cream cheese.
My companion had the grilled banana pancakes. Pancake were fresh , light and fluffy.
Would go back definitely if in the area.
Friendly staff, food is always delicious and a good serving size. We never have to wait long for the food/drinks to come out, it's a great little breakfast spot.
Great place have breakfast will going back
