Review Ristretto - Perth

I’ve walked pass this coffee shop a few times. That prompted me to go try this place out! This morning my co-workers and I went to try this coffee place. Their coffee are spot on. Service is fast and staff were friendly. I will return again for coffee sometime. They also have a cinnamon scroll it is their famous baked goods. I didn't get to try but I will eventually try one day.

The food options have improved significantly over the past 6 months. A great mix of naughty and healthy treats. Consistently good coffee.

Ristretto do an excellent job roasting quality coffee in Northbridge and their baristas make the best coffee around. Check this place and buy some beans to take home!

Used to be one of my favourites, but their beans taste a bit over roasted these days and I think they have been superseded by other new places nearby

Tucked away on a side street, need to look to find this place. Serious about their coffee and it is strong. Give it a go...price is a bit high for my taste.

Coffee was OK, cappuccino was not as chocolatey as what I hoped for.  Service was great, but price was higher than other shops around, $4.80 for a regular takeaway.

TERRIBLE burnt coffee. Terrible service and an owner that chases you down the road berating abuse early on a Monday morning, if you go in for a muffin (which are always also BURNT), and you take your superior coffee from another cafe into his shop! He exited the kitchen, yelling abuse down the road!<br/>Do yourself a favour, and bypass this farce of a cafe, and Head to Rosso Espresso, not even a minute up the road on St Georges. Their coffee, service and food is faultless... Unlike this dive.

Don't like the coffee :(. Tasted burnt? Haven't had a good coffee here since they opened some time ago. Stick to Greenhouse.

Great little 'underground' find, it had just started raining so I shot down a few stairs and had a lovely coffee, good friendly service and free wifi. Could do with a name on the outside ?

Hole in the wall place with great coffee... Hidden gem

Let down.. I get a little worried about the turn over of staff for Howard Street and Ristretto. I have since stopped drinking coffee at both locations as i have noticed a burnt tang to it, their roast is far too dark. Is Dimattina still roasting for them? Could be the reason why it is still so dark and unpleasant.

The Best. Popped in for a coffee and we had the best coffees we have had since we moved to Perth (4 years ago) Obviously passionate about their craft, we will be back. And what a spot, across from Andaluz and Helvetica, all we need now is a handbag shop in Howard street!

Fautless. Had no doubts that emmanuels new sit down cafe on howard st would serve the same level of truly outstanding coffee as the original ristretto in 160 central. nothing but the finest ingredients and roasting practices finished off by well trained, passionate and friendly staff. since opening in 2010, over half of our 100 office staff have made this place their new regular for coffee. always a good atmosphere as well. range of fresh made stecca rolls are very tasty as well!

24 days of coffee review by guest blogger Sweetly Spiced...I have a soft spot for unassuming, small, cosy cafes. I find that in many cases, as such, I was hopeful and rather pleased when I descended into a dark, small space with a few wooden tables and half a dozen punters waiting for their order. I was quick to place my order and then took a seat to wait and surveyed the room... a simple, hole-in-the-wall cafe that you very likely would only know about by word of mouth.

They also roast their own coffee, sourcing green beans from all over the world.
