Great little nook cafe with friendly staff and good coffee. Walls are covered in old and new music event posters many of which trigger a memory or two. Food selection is limited as is often the case. The toasty I had was good. Seating area out the back is cosy and private too if the need arises for that.
exceptional coffee, great fit out, friendly staff - who listen... my order, which is a bit annoying, but still.
this place got me musing, i have not lived in perth for 10 years, and in that time coffee culture has exploded, now you can get a great coffee in 5 out of 10 places rather than 2 out of 10. this is a testament to the industry and those whose passion and tastes drive it. okay, ovation over
The best Paninis! nice coffee too! also very relaxing and comfy :-)
Crib Lane has got their reputation high amongst CBD coffee lovers. They are using Dimattina coffee beans. I didnt mind it, but the coffee was a bit weak for me. They also sell sweets (i.e.: mufffins, donuts) and sandwiches. There were 3 friendly girls serving on counter as well as making coffees, pretty cool. Might go back one day to try house made dishes.
This little hidden coffee shop is tiny but oh so interesting to just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with a muffin or pastry. I liked the quirky decorations and the staff were just lovely with a warm smile to greet all customers. The coffee served was mediocre but good enough for someone who missed my first cup of joe in the morning. Ha!
I will most likely be back to try more things on the menu.
Purchased my first Lena Lu Creations bombolobi from here. $6.50 and enormous. Could easily be shared and that's coming from a big sweet tooth. Counter service was nondescript. Lots of yummy looking sweet and savoury food on display, including chia pots and bircher muesli ($6.50) and muffins ($5.50 - they were huge but I won't pay more than $4.50 for a muffin). I don't drink coffee so can't comment on all the reviews about bad coffee. I would come back to try other food. Nice decor/ambience. Very busy.
It is my go-to everyday coffee in the morning or afternoon. Long Mac with top up milk is my fav order. The barista is friendly always. If you like a strong fresh coffee here is the place. Highly recommended.
This cafe serves some of the best coffee I've ever had with very friendly baristas and counter staff! Will have to come back to try the food soon.
This is a great little hole in the wall cafe. The coffee was so good we ordered another. Funky tunes, friendly staff. Great find on this otherwise uninspiring strip...
Warm staff and decor, coffee average. Was just walking buy and was taken by the allure of the decor, was quite like my days in Melbourne. Staff were friendly and happy to chat about the coffee (Dimattina); I have never been a fan of commercial roasters like Vittoria, Dimattina, Brazilliano etc, they often lack the true essence and natural sweetness of the coffee bean, much like the more commercial wineries. The coffee here was quite milky, untextured and the flavour was uninteresting, drinkable but not much more.
The staff working there are a credit to the venue and have more class than the beans their brewing. Learning to texture the milk wouldn't go astray
Best Conti rolls, best coffee, best cafe in WA hands down. The roll pictured is the Salado - can’t go wrong.
Completely different level of quality, and care for food, compared with any of the burritos / wraps / whatever you get at the ‘big’ franchises…as well as cheaper.
The chicken paninis are also top notch, i could seriously live on those.
Good coffee with fast efficient service, exactly what you would expect from a little "hole in the wall style" cafe.
Awesome coffee, lovely staff and a top meeting spot out back. This is one place you can bet will have great coffee every time, it varies from excellent to perhaps the best in Perth! It's a nice spot to watch the world go by out front while you wait for your brew or head out the back and do a little work and have some privacy for a chat. Plenty of character and an all round top spot :)
Amazing coffee, friendly staff, nice chill atmosphere. You can't tell from walking past but there's a neat little seating area at the back. Snickers coffee was off the hook ;)
Great Service. Good vibes. Man who served us was a gentleman.
I tried the lentil soup with bread for lunch. The portion size was good and it filled me up. Cozy place with interesting interiors
Always great coffee. Good spot for a quiet meeting.
Perth's coffee game is strong. This place just knocked-out a double macchiato that was up there on my "best ever" list. (Note to self: must create such a list).
