This is one of our favourite cafes. We love that it has the kid-friendly alfresco area, which keeps my little one busy for ages. The coffee is always excellent. I’ve never had a burnt one. My favourite item is the sausage rolls. They taste delicious, and have little pieces of mildly spicy chorizo in the meat mix. The pastry is always light and flaky. So good! My daughters favourite thing is the funny face cookies. She devours one every visit. The service is always great, always friendly, and you never have to wait long for your order to come out.
The great thing about this place is the toys available outside for the kids. The bad thing is the lack of railings between the concrete area where the toys is and the grass area. So it is a potentially dangerous place to be for younger toddlers.
They let us drag tables from inside the cafe out to where the toys were so we adults can have a chat whilst our little boy plays.
Food and drink prices is average for perth. We had curried pie which we shared with our then 2 year old. Must say that particular food was a bit average.
Such delicious pastries, but their breads are just gorgeous! While I haven't had a hot meal here yet their breads in particular are stunning - the ciabatta is really soft and fluffy in the middle with a great crusty crunch. The tarts have a lovely crumbly base, and the fillings are fresh and they're now at the new monthly Mt Lawley Farmer's markets too. Can't wait to try their cafe meals.
Dinner at Dejaxo, Carine. Very disappointing, very cold as both doors open. Waitress got the order wrong and meal was not good. No coffees available or soft drinks. After complaint made, was offered voucher for return visit. Very nice coffees and friendly, helpful staff during the day.
Menu and service much improved, now both the extensive cabinet range and menu are great. I use it every other day for bread, and for treats and eats on the weekend.
Dejaxo Mount Hawthorn is a delightful spacious cafe, with a fantastic kids play area and a focus on using healthy ingredients to make delicious food that looks and tastes amazing.
Love this place. Great coffee and food options. Very kid friendly, especially good for toddlers. Attentive service. Will definitely be back.

The bread. Fresh. Soft. White. Buttered.
The eggs. Fried. Properly.
Simple really. Just what you need in a bacon and egg sandwich.
With a good coffee too.

Delicious bread, fast friendly service and great pastries. Our favourite local bakery. Would highly recommend. I think if they could expand the seating inside it would attract even more customers 👍
I stumbled upon this bakery today and it's just gorgeous! The space is beautiful, the staff were lovely and the layout of the breads and bakery treats looked great! I particularly liked how the breads were all behind cupboard doors but it was backlit so they looked fresh and bright.
I bought a sausage roll - kale and root veg (I think), and a butter chicken pie. Both were gorgeous! And I bought a vanilla slice and a loaf of honey multigrain (called something like that). YUM! I haven't tried the bread yet but am looking forward to it.

So many delicious things to choose from. Their apple twist thingy was so soft and tasty and it's possibly the best pie I've ever eaten. The only thing I didn't like was the sausage roll, I think they accidentally gave me a cheese one and I found the taste really unpleasant.
This place is really nice and great place to meet up with friends and have a coffee during the day. There menu is nice however be warned, sandwiches seem to shrink during toasting and what you think will be good lunch, turns into a ...worthy snack lol. Not too busy when I have been there and staff are always friendly...just order two sandwiches :)
Great spot if you're reducing waste. You can refill or exchange milk bottles and exchange yoghurt containers, also lots of ready meals in reusable containers.
Good selection of toasted sandwiches, pies and baked treats. Nice area for kids to run around, and toilets are kid-friendly.
A group of 7 had food and beverages. My cappuccino was perfect and the sweet pastry delicious. Quiet location. Friendly staff, clean place. I will be returning
Very nice place quite big inside and outside with also a nice outdoor area with a whole wall for kids to draw on with chalk. There is also some area for them to play and plenty of toys. The bread there is very good especially the baguette. It's also quite easy to park in the streets around. The ladies that work there are also very nice.
I was hoping to get a GF frittata but all they had were GF crustless quiches. I bought a selection and the beetroot one was my favourite.
