This place is one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve ever been to in Perth. Amazing staff with great customer service. The Pork Backbone stew and Beef Sashimi is to die for. Just gotta love the great taste in some chilled rnb and slow jams while downing a couple of Soju shots. Nice Ambience. Coming back for more..
First time coming here. Staff are very attentive. Portions are HUUUGE and so very tasty. I've been dreaming about that cheesy chicken and chips. Yum!!
This place is the bomb! It has one of the yummiest korean fusion foods. The cheesy chicken is a must try and it’s especially good for late night post drinking sessions.
Food is amazing and well priced and soju variety is good too. Wait staff were amazing
The Bite in Northbridge is a fantastic place to get unique and tasty food. The Cheesy Chicken in particular is always the highlight of my trips here. I’ve come here on several occasions with many of my friends and we all love it. The only thing I noticed is that the staff do seem somewhat disorganised regarding table bookings but this issue has never prevented us or other patrons from getting a seat. Other than that, the staff are always very friendly and the food is always amazing as well especially for the price. I would definitely recommend The Bite particularly for big groups of people looking for great Asian food
Tonight was the second time that we’ve visited The Bite. We loved our first visit! We came at 5.30pm so there wasn’t anyone there other than one other table. Our friends recommended that we order the spicy cream cheese chicken and the pork soup (there’s a korean name for this but I can’t remember it now). Definitely didn’t regret the cream cheese chicken, it taste nothing like the other cheese buldak from other korean restaurants. Might be the cream that they add to it. I forgot to take a photo of it but they serve it on a frying pan.
I can’t say the same about the pork soup though, not as flavourful as i thought it would be.
In terms of the decor, it does look a bit old and tired, not a place for romantic dates but didn’t really bother us.
Recommended: Cream Cheese Chicken (spicy cream)
Food: 9/10
Ambience: 7/10
This place can get crowded at times, but the environment was good and most of all they had very friendly staff.
It feels like every dish there was just so good!!
It has also become my favourite supper place as they open till late night.
Tonight, we tried The Pork & Kimchi Stew with noodles and it was very delicious, every ingredient in it complimented each other. What surprises me the most was when I took a bite on an onion in the stew, it brought sweetness to my palette. The stew was extremely tasty. Can’t wait to try the other dishes in the future. The restaurant was packed but yet the service was delivered fast, the staff was very friendly, efficient and professional. Every staff had a smile on them and they showed a lot passion, from the front of house and also from the kitchen. Great teamwork, Well done! Compliments to the Chef and to the staff👍I’ll definitely be returning.
Been here 6 times in 8 weeks. LOVEEE The cream cheese chicken and tteok-bokki. The staffs were very nice and friendly. They recommend us their secret menu which is the kimchi beef brisket with bean sprout and it tastes yum. However, the place is pretty small and it is very busy during weekends.
I really like this place!!
- the restaurant feels so authentic and most of the diners are koreans
- good variety from classic korean fried chicken (YUM) to kimchi stews, pancakes, noodles and more
- the waiters are so cute! and there is one who sings very well
- the perfect place for a snack or a hearty meal after drinking (or to continue drinking) and probably the best of the few restaurants open at 4am on weekends!
Must try.
