Back for Round #2!
This time we tried the Gyoza and Truffle Tonkutso.
Gyoza was very juicy and delicious - reminded us of Xiao Long Baos in Gyoza form. Could have been grilled longer for extra crunch and form. Still tasty.
The ramen noodles were again on point. The aroma of the truffle is beautiful, and something just works with adding truffle oil! However, compared to red dragon and signature, it is definitely more bland.
We were also disappointed to learn red dragon level 4 and 5 spice had sold out even though we go there early!
Efficient and attentive service. Takes in only what they can handle. Awesome place!
Nice work on the vegan menu. Lots of options friend is vegan and a regular here. I am too but I go for the standard menu and red dragon level 3. Order extra toppings as you please and must have a black sesame ice cream.
They do truffle tonkotsu ramen! Don’t think anyone else does in Perth. Sooo yummy. Loved their watermelon soda. Quick service and friendly staff! One of the better ramen places in Perth.
Recommended by a friend to try. Was actually pretty good. Red Wings and their Curry King ramen was awesome. Pricing was reasonable and service was quick. Good energy to staff and greet on arrival.
Side street location with warm design inside. Serves vegan food as well as standard menu. Good range of ramen, bento and dessert. Had the tan tan ramen which was very nice. Not as spicy as i thought but probably good for me. Pork gyozq was juicy and well done.
Nice little ramen joint close to my apartment. Very friendly staff. The service is best described half self service and half table service. Love the iPad ordering system. Have to get own water but it's not a deal breaker. I had the Signature Ramen and my friend has vegan red dragon. TBH I wouldn't have come here normally but my mate is vegan and he raves about it. Ramen was good and comparable to some I ate in Japan. I also like Nao but they don't do tonkotsu. My friend said he always has the red dragon and loves it. Love the house soda especially the lychee one. It's a very popular place apparently and was at capacity when I was dining. The food took around 15 minutes to get to the table which is average time. Definitely worth the wait. Can't wait to try the other ramen on offer at this place.
This place is awesome!! Great ramen and great ambience. A must visit especially for vegetarians and vegans. Great service also. Was pleasantly surprised!! 👌
Great ramen at a great price. Eaten here twice now and both times were great. Lots of vegan options and the Wednesday night vegan special is good value. Has both inside and outdoor seating and the staff are friendly.
Love that there are ALOT of vegan choices. I enjoyed everything I ordered! Faux chicken karaage (Japanese fried faux chicken served with vegan kewpie mayo), korokke (mushrooms and veg with vegan cheese n tonkatsu sauce) and lotus chips 🤤 Note to self: must come back to try the vegan ramen
The Ramen was not too bad. I had the Red Dragon, it was only just warm in temperature (temperature of the food not the chilli instensity). I did not ask them to heat the dish up because I wasn't sure if it is meant to be served at that temperature. It was definitely cooler in temperature compared to the other ramens ordered for our table.
The coating of the fried matcha ice cream was really nice. The matcha ice cream was light and had only the slightest matcha taste.
There was a little bit of confusion about paying the bill. The note on the counter says that they take AMEX but the cashier said they don't. We ended up paying with a different card but mentioned to the cashier about the sign. The sign needs to be corrected, if it hasn't already.
Im not a frequent ramen eater as I usually go for pho or wonton noodle soup but Ramen Ichiraku served me the most delicious bowl of ramen! I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu and it was smooth and rich all at the same time. Plus the services was great. They were really busy and there was a wait but the staff moved so quickly to clear tables and get us seated. I will definitely be back!!
Opened in the midst of the ramen craze last winter, the crew behind Ramen Ichiraku has worked tirelessly to make a name for themselves and their effort has definitely paid off 🎉. The 2 ramen we ordered were packed full of flavour and boasted with personality. My Signature Hakata tonkotsu was full of porky goodness although the broth could have been a bit thicker 🐷. C. was completely happy with her Red Dragon, with level 1 spiciness being just right for her palate 🌶. Our noodles were well-cooked and the ajitsuke eggs were one of the best in Perth, perfectly runny and seasoned. Worry not if you're a vego, they have a full vegan menu just for you 🌱. With the cooler weather fast approaching, I can't wait to schedule in a ramen session and check out all those new items!
A place that is experimental and deservedly busy. We went on the vegan special night and they had a fiery and spicy broth in the vegan ramen I opted for. My partner liked the curry pulled pork croquettes and his traditional pork ramen. It's obviously a hip place to be, although staff aren't resting on their laurels, actively seeking feedback on our dining experience.

Really enjoyed lunch at this little noodlery.
The decor is a bit rough round the edges, but the effort's been made to make sure everything's nice and clean and their branding is second to none. (I challenge anyone to resist their adorable mascot, Mr Ramen).
We started with piping hot, tender takoyaki, which were great.
I had the seasonal Abura noodles (a dry noodle with a chili and soy base sauce and minced pork) and found them to be the perfect level of spicy, the noodles chewy and delicious. My dining companions both enjoyed their Red Dragon chili Tonkotsu and traditional Hakata Tonkotsu ramen.
The real, and slightly unexpected, stand out was dessert - sweet apple and cinnamon spring rolls served with the most beautiful nutty black sesame ice cream and a creditable matcha fried ice cream scoop surrounded by sweet adzuki beans.
Ramen Ichiraku is tucked up the top end of Northbridge, so parking could be a challenge. There are a couple of bays in front of the restaurant but they're so cramped they're nearly impossible to manoeuvre in and out of. Easier to buget some coin change and park in one of the nearby ticket spots.
It's not a cheap eating experience, but we certainly didn't feel cheated. Will visit again to try more of their menu and to say hi to Mr Ramen!
We just came across this restaurant by chance whilst hunting for lunch around Northbridge. They specialize in ramen as it’s name suggest with few other rice dishes on offer too. I went for the red dragon (spiciness level 2) which had just the right amount of spice. Broth was flavourful, noodles had a nice bite, and the meat and egg were cooked perfectly. My lunch partner had the signature ramen and thought it was awesome too. This place wins my favourite Perth ramen place hands down. Good find!
I'm a big fan of Ramen, and have struggled to find anything like the legit Kyushu Style Tonkotsu broth in Perth. Ramen Ichiraku is the real deal. We had a serve of Gyoza which were great, the dipping sauce was incredible. The Ramen itself was extremely good. I had the Red Dragon at 2, which was pretty brutal. Extra points for the Yuzu Honey Soda. Will be back.
nice niche tucked away spot with great lo-fi music, cute interior decor and an even cuter ramen man doll. food was good as well but had to wait a little while.
After being recommended by a few friends I finally visited this unassuming restaurant. Simple decor and friendly service. The noodles were perfectly al dente with a bit of bite still which I enjoy. The signature ramen broth was really nice and flavoursome without being too heavy. The egg cooked perfect and the meat was a standout compared to other ramen places as the pork had a slightly charred bbq'd flavour to it. The dragon bowl had spice levels 1 to 5. Got the 3 and it was quite spicy!! May go to a 2 next time but flavours were great and the soft pulled pork in this dish was a nice addition. One of the better ramen places in Perth. Would definitely come back!

Tried the rich hakata tonkotsu and red dragon. Broth was tasty and fatty and noodles were well cooked. The pulled pork that came with red dragon were a nice addition and they were very tender and smoky. Staff were friendly and welcoming
This place is surprisingly very good and I dont think Perthies have caught on given the recent hype over ramen.
Noodles tasted fresh with the right amount chewy texture. Soup was well flavoured but not too salty. The egg tasted a bit sweeter compared to others I've had though.
I had the pleasure of trying their truffle ramen. They only have 10 serves per day apparently. Highly recommended.
Karaage chicken also hit the spot. No complaints.
I went to the good food & wine event and there was a booth that sold truffles, he suggested me try truffle ramen at this restaurant. When you arrive, you must choose the menu in front of the restaurant first because there is no menu inside. After that, the staff will ask you what you want to eat. You inform the cashier, and they will lead you to the table. This restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages. I ordered the truffle tonkatsu ramen with extra pork chashu. Good taste ramen, fragrant truffles. I think the broth should be a little hotter and a little more intense. Overall, it's okay.
This restaurent started 3 years ago. Today, we tried both the Signature Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen ($17.5) and Truffle Tonkotsu Ramen ($20), and the taste was not bad. In future, we will request a hotter soup and a softer ramen. The tonkotsu broth was quite tasty but saltier. The ramen was a bit hard as we were not given the choice of choosing the noodle to be cooked in either soft or medium texture. The pork was tasty, flavourful, and tender. The service was good. There was neither table chilli powder nor Shichimi given, we had to request for it. Any improvement in the future will be good. Good cosy environment and soft music. The street parking ticket was $3/1P. Cheers! (2021-08)
The the special sodas, the sides and the ramen were all so lovely! After going vegan I wasn’t sure I’d be able to eat ramen like I used to so I am so glad I came here :) the vegan cheeseburger gyoza was the highlight of my first trip to Ramen Ichiraku, what a wonderful idea. Pictured is the vegan shoyu and lychee Sakura soda ❤️
The place is small, everyone in your group is required to be present before you're seated, which is a bit if a hassle for big groups unless its well coordinated.They don't do reservations, but we've made it work with groups of 7 to 11 people.
While you wait for the seat outside,its a good idea to peruse the menu before being seated because the orders were taken before seating (this was likely an adaptation due to covid times).
The vegan food is flavourful, with well seasoned broths and the mockmeats artfully made. A delight to dine in as always. Highly recommend the vegan fried chicken.
Such a nice place and lovely service. We dropped our chopsticks on the floor and someone was there within 30 seconds to give us a clean pair. So sweet and the service doesn’t go unnoticed
Pros: standalone vegan menu with various choices of Ramen!
Cons: in this current situation you will need to wait till your entire party arrives before being seated. You also need to order before being seated.
We tried the Ton Ton and Dragon ramen, both were enjoyable. If you can handle spice I'd go for level 4 heat on the dragon ramen as 3 wasn't trouble.
All in all, recommended trying.
