Review Eillo - Perth

Everything was so so good here - came to this shop after string recommendations from out Airbnb host who called Ellio, “The best sandwich store in Northbridge!” Our host wasn’t joking because we ordered the coffee/hot chocolate with 3 different types of sandwiches and bagels. We only wished we came earlier!!! Could only try it once because we were flying off the next day. Owner and staff are super friendly too!!!

I can’t believe my luck when I found this warm inviting café in Northbridge last week. During one of my infrequent trips to this area, I was craving a snack and flat white with oat milk. The banana bread was yummy and moist. The coffee hit the spot but what I loved about the café is the welcoming staff. Customers were greeted with smiles followed by being asked how their morning was going. Not one person was given the cold shoulder. I haven’t seen this at any other café in my 10+ years living in Australia. I decided to get out of my home office to work from here this morning. It was worth the 15+ min drive. I hope that my review will motivate others to give this café a go.

Very nice Cafe, friendly staff, fabulous Chai Latte, Quiche & Orange cake for lunch. Lovely seating areas inside & outside with a amazing range of gift items for sale. Great artwork on display - will definity return.

Fabulous coffee, cakes, drinks, and multi gift selections, Cafe. I had a ginger, date, chocolate biscuit with my latte, very yummy. Located on Beaufort in Northbridge with friendly upbeat Owner's. It was a joy to discover and sit a moment in a friendly environment with the best cakes & drinks I've seen in awhile. Go see for yourself..👌

Lovely little coffee shop/gift shop in William Street. Great coffee & food. Well worth a pop in.

Little oasis on the hot day as we stumbled into this gem. Coffees were best we have had for a long time, sugar free treats went down well, toasted muffin with butter was a new one on me but it was great. Comfortable seating and welcomming staff made our experience enjoyable. Oh and the wife spent some $ on the dog goodies which are displayed. We will come back whenever we r in the area.

Pulled Pork Toastie is really good! With the added rosemary and other dried herbs is just mind-blowing 🤩 and I love the guy who made my coffee! Top class service!

lovely little cafe corner in Northbridge. great vibe, very friendly service, and the coffee was excellent. they also have a small range of different toasties and cold pressed juices on their menu. definitely a great cosy corner to hang out over coffee.
More Than Nourishment
We have walked past this place so many times and did not realise that it is more than a small gift store until seeing a review on the food and coffee. We tried the museli with mango coulis and Mac and cheese toastie ($6.50). Both were enjoyable dishes and would come back for them again especially since they were so reasonably priced. Service was very friendly and efficient. Recommended!

The coffee is cheap, and the gifts are expensive. It's nothing to write home about in terms of product - I did however find the barista serving me to be very condescending.

Came across this place after toast face were closed. Best toasties I’ve had to date and the cafe feel is awesome! Definitely a 5/5 and highly recommend it for their toasties.

Came here this morning for a coffee with my mum and a friend. We were wanting a cosy spot to chat with great coffee and Eillo delivered. We sat out the back which felt both warm and private. The coffee was delicious and the little chocolate cookie was a treat! I am so glad we stumbled upon this cafe and will come back when I am in the area. An added bonus that they were open on the public holiday.

The pulled pork with mash toastie is exquisite. Bread was well toasted and crisp while the filling was balanced and flavourful. The interior was brightly lit and welcoming. Service was warm and friendly. Coffee was slightly mild for our liking, but nonetheless great place to catch up with your mates!

if you happen to be near the Perth Railway Station end of William St, Northbridge & fancy a very well made coffee ,in pleasant surroundings , don't hesitate to go straight to "Eillo " , at 218 William St . The first time that we went ,we happened to meet the owner .I asked about the name Eillo, thinking that it might be a Greek word . "its named after my dog " said he . Why not ? The coffee is "Micrology" ,a local coffee .The staff are friendly & efficient .We ordered "double espressos ", which were extremely well made . Food is mainly toasted sandwiches & cakes ,all delicious. There are a few tables on the footpath & an outdoor area at the back . Inside there are some high stools & a rather nice sofa . The cafe also sells a few gift e.g. stationary , hand creams & a few ceramics ,if you are in need of one . However the excellent coffee ,is the reason to go there . Enjoy .

Coffee is just ok, nothing to shout about however the shop setup is pretty cosy and nice. Good place for a catch up session with your mates.

Delightful cafe for a quick coffee fix. Not much food on offer early morning but the toasted sandwiches are worth snacking on. Standard sliced bread with decent quality fillings.
The staff are lovely, as is the decor and general ambience. Well priced homewares/gifts on offer.

This place is clearly underrated! They do THE best toasted sandwiches here.... The pulled pork and mash toastie is to die for, and the prices are excellent, you'd be hard pressed to find a place with tasty food like this at such a cheap price.... Each time I've gone there the quality has been exceptional.... I'm looking forward to trying the rest on the menu cos damn.... Its so good! Already craving my next one....

A quaint little shop which you would probably miss. Coffees are good with a few variety of cold press juices for those who are not coffee lovers. The front part of the store has a small boutique selling varies little goodies. Whilst the back and small garden adds a little added charm. A cute little find.

Really really good coffee. This spot is almost a hole in the wall, we actually walked straight past looking for it! Part coffee shop, part gift store, Eillo has it down as an experience. The staff are absolutely lovely, very friendly and on the ball. Even though they had quite a few customers in the store, they took my order quickly. My friend and I had a browse through the items for sale as we waited for my coffee. Gorgeous candles, stationary and tea caught my eye. The coffee is strong yet smooth, really enjoyed it. Went down very quickly and easily.

If you're after great coffee COME HERE!!! Beautiful bright little place selling great size coffee ranges on their takeaway from tiny to bloody big! and decent in house sizes too. Also the option of (real chocolate) hot chocolates. They do a range of Toasties and treats (which I will try next time!) I ordered a small macchiato (two shots with a dash of warm milk and froth) my partner ordered a large macchiato (3 shots coffee and the rest topped up with milk) all together it was $8.50 and absolutely delicious! So cheap for a total of 5 shots of coffee!!!!! Good strong coffee and great temperature. We ordered takeaway and you get a little cookie with it! We will be back for sure and trying the toasties. Thank god we have found this place for our coffee stops! Selling homewares, candles and gifts/wrapping and pet essentials also.

My absolute go to coffee joint now! On top of a beautiful space; open, light, modern and simplistic with really lovely gifts/nick-nacks for sale - the food and drinks are also great! The male staff member who served us was friendly and we were lucky enough to have Ollie - the border collie dog whom the cafe is named after - come out and greet us.. I guess I can say both staff members present, Ollie and the Barista, were great company :)

Accidently stumbled on this place one Sunday morning. Although it's not an obvious cafe, this is one of Perth's new hidden gems. Gorgeous little spaces beautifully decorated with the added a creative twist of butchers paper and fabulous pens. Excellent coffee, sincere and friendly staff, and to top it off, free wifi (not easy to find in Perth).

The food range is limited but high quality - prices are also very low for Perth and the servings generous. My fig and almond museli bowl (with mixed berry coulis and greek yoghurt) was delectable and at $5 one of the best value cafe meals I've had in WA.

Nice place decked with a lot of crafty things. Loved the wooden floors. There aren't many tables to sit at even though there is heaps of floor space plus a room at the back and seating on the street 🤔 We ordered a matcha latte, green juice and a cruffin. The matcha latte was actually pretty good. Creamy yet strong flavour and not earthy like most places these days 🍵 The only problem is that it's in a really basic mug with no coffee art. Huge let down 😔😔 The cruffin was really good. The green juice was 90% ice and not sure if it was just from a bottle.

Cute little cafe which also stocks lots of interesting bric a brac & kitchenware. Comfortable corners in which to relax with a coffee or a reasonably priced snack, & the staff are friendly

Cute little place, lovely staff, cronut is great and the whole shop actually smells great. Love the decor! And open until 4pm is definitely a plus!

What a beautiful surprise accident! I stumbled on this place because I had some time to kill and it blew me away! Their sign is what caught my eye which said "we love to make coffee for the city that loves to drink it" The shop is stunningly designed, ladies at the counter super friendly and down to earth. Coffee was well priced and delicious! Loved everything about this place! It is more than a cafe, it's a workspace and sells cute boutique home wears. If you are in the area or not- come check it out yourself! Perth Food Explorer Cafe

Eillo is a cute little cafe with simple bright decor. Girls at front couter were lovely and friendly. They dont have a lot on menu, but all very inviting. Soup of the day (Pea & Ham) was good and cheap ($6!) I had Raspberry Cheesecake Cronut and loved it! It wasn't oily at all and got enough filling, yumm.. It's one of the best Cronut for me. My main reason to go there was to try their Matcha Latte. They used sweetened powder which was fine. I was quite disappointed when it came coz no latte art done plus have lots and lots of bubbles. It'll be nice if they put a bit more effort to make customers happy with pretty latte art. But in saying that, it's made well and got strong flavour. Would I go back? Yes... I'm keen to try their Porkstar toastie and coffee next time.

Really lovely fit out, great service. Love the toasties here much prefer a decadent toastie or something small and coffee to a full on meal for breakfast. Great addition to the William St community

Back in the day Seinfeld had the muffin top. Now we have the cruffin. It's a cross between a croissant and a muffin but better. Coffee is pretty good, not so hot on the coffee art but good nonetheless.

Delicious pulled pork toasted sandwich! Nice place for a quick lunch, they have a few toasties to choose from and they have really cool homewares too. Have yet to try the coffee.

Great little boutique coffee store selling trendy home wares. The coffee and toasties are delicious ($9 for both!) and offer teas, cold juices and pastries. Will be back
