Husband and daughter ordered cordon bleu. Came out cremated!!! Drowned in sauce.
As did my schnitzel. To be fair they took them back and re-did the order. But others had finished when we got ours again.
My husband reckons they just took the coating off and re-cooked as his chicken was so dry. The service was non existent. It wasn't busy.
Had to ask for kids desserts. Part of kids meal. One came then we had to remind them again for the other childs. Have eaten there on several occasions and had great service and lovely food.. Very disappointed and won't be going again. Shame as its local.

Gorgeous, comfy cafe with open chef's area. Food is amazing!! And coffee and desserts are great. Outdoor area for dogs; and an indoor kids area too from memory. Love this cafe/restaurant. It's locally owned too :)

They have just come under new management and are still finding their feet. Their service is good as can be expected when taking over an established cafe. The staff are very helpful and understanding when there are problems and can generally fix them immediately. Their food servings are generous. Give them a bit of time and I'm sure they will earn that extra star.

We ordered over $90.00 worth of food which is why it took over an hour to get to us.
I Was really Hungry when I ordered the food and when i took the first bite of the chicken cardboard (they refer to it as schnitzel) a black cloud of depression came over me.
Worst decision i've ever made was thinking to myself "perhaps it tastes better than it smells".
But your nose knows you know??
The serving size for the price you pay actually made me cry! - Not really

Great if you've got little ones - they can play while you enjoy a coffee. Food is a bit hit & miss, like all cafes & restaurants it depends on who's cooking. Would be amazing too if they sorted out their menus and had one instead of three with different prices.

The cafe is under new management and we popped in today as part of our shopping day at the drovers market. The coffee was superb and the food was delicious we had a chicken salad wrap and veggie mushrooms and the freshness of the food flavours that we experienced was evidence that there was a chef in the house. Avellino's is now a hidden gem. We are planning our return.

Been here about 4 times. Each time the food was great. Great selection and muffins to die for! BUT considering its an italian restaurant the coffee was awful. And it hasn't improved on any of my visits. Seems too watery and stale coffee beans?

The food here was very basic and you can tell they source the cheapest ingredients the waitress who served us was miserable and definitely looked liked she did not want to be there. We came here as a matter of convenience but definately won't be back.

It’s really hit and miss here. I’ve had good and bad experiences, and pretty much only go here for the convenience and price for me. Pasta dishes are yummy, pizza is good when its good. Not a lover of the sides.

Ordered a take away from here today and honestly it was so disgusting I couldn’t eat it. The garlic bread was tasteless, the nachos was soggy af, the calamari smelt really fishy so I didn’t even bother opening the marina pasta m. I literally had one piece of garlic bread and two corn chips and a piece of calamari and it all went in the bin. Biggest waste of money!

Came here while stopping off on a road trip. <br/>First walked in and the table next to the door had a full plate of food that was left by a customer? <br/>The service was terrible! One of the employees was too busy taking personal calls instead of serving my family. <br/>The employee who eventually served us had absolutely no personality at all. <br/>We ordered some coffee's and sandwiches. My boyfriend ordered a bacon and egg toastie and asked for tomato sauce. <br/>When the order came our chips were soggy with oil, coffee was average, bread was hardly toasted at all and the toastie had tomatoes instead of tomato sauce. Not to mention over priced (10.50 for two slices of bread, piece of bacon and one egg???)<br/>Lots of employees standing around doing nothing and terrible vibe from them. <br/>Would not recommend!

Cheap and Nasty. Went here for my birthday today with family. Were not greeted when placing order, the lady seemed a bit out of sorts in a strange way. Food came but we were missing one meal and a drink. The ceasor salad was worst ive ever seen mountains of sliced thing lettuce, never seen that before usually you have nice big lettuce pieces. My sisters meal was late and she ordered the same as me although hers looked different just thrown together in a different serving bowl and no sauce on top which it was meant to be with. Kids meals were standard I guess but we had to ask for the activity pack for it and the ice cream, after kids ate meals. Only upside to this place is it has a play area for kids. My sister is left with a terrible stomach ache after todays visit. Not good enough....!!!!! AVOID...

BEWARE HEALTH HAZARD! <br/>We have ordered online here before and the delivery was quick and meal was tasty. We decided to dine in. Whilst we were there we observed two members of staff serve up salad with their bare hands, one whilst on their personal mobile phone. Then rinsing hands with water only. Two young children in pjamas walked in and out of the kitchen cooking and prep area then went on to serve people whipped cream for customers who ordered cakes! No staff members had hair nets on or hats on either. Doesn't matter what the meals were like after witnessing that, as it leaves a sour taste in your mouth!

What an absolute joke, Maccas taste better and comes out better looking than the rubbish they bring out( and I hate Maccas). Save your money and go else where, the staff are alright. The one that runs the show, now he's 👎🏼

Very disappointed we ordered 2 pizzas. They turned up cold and the pizza's were not cooked, after ringing up we decided to take pizzas back and get the money back. Take them in the young guy looks at the pizza and said he disagrees that they are under cooked as it's a special dough now I'm sorry the pizza was that raw and floppy Viagra wouldn't even help it !! cheese on the pizza looked as if it was melted in a microwave not in a pizza oven now the flavour was great would order again if the pizza was actually cooked.

needs to be more consistent, ordered chicken and avocado toasty on wed, just lovely, same order today, chicken no avocado just tomato, lettuce and cucumber, not what I ordered, coffee lukewarm, had to ask for hot water to hot it up, what I have noticed is the waitresses dont listen to what your saying, they look at you blank faced, just listen to what the customer is saying to you please, that appears to be a fault everywhere nowadays. This is a great venue in a great spot, just lift the game or people wont return, maybe a few reminders to the young staff that its customers that pay your wages,

We usually very much enjoy this place. It's great they have a kids play area.<br/>Unfortunately after today's experience with that staffs attitude we won't come back <br/>The restaurant was quiet, however it took 45 minutes to get our meals. We ordered plain ham and cheese sandwiches for two small children which didn't arrive. When asked how long they would be, we were snapped with "we are under the pump and have coffees to do". We eventually got sandwiches 15 minutes later.<br/>One meal- a fish burger had a hair. The staff laughed when we showed them. They remade it, and we asked for it to be take away, and the staff threw it on our table and stormed off. <br/>Such a shame the staff treated us not so nicely. We have been here often, we won't come back.

This is a local gem! I've only been once but it was a great experience. The decor is nice and clean, inside is quite spacious and there's a few tables outside. My sister and I went for lunch on a weekday so it was pretty quiet, mostly people coming in to pick up take away orders. My sister said on a previous visit for dinner it had been busy so someone had come to her and seated her at table, and taken their order at the table. We just walked in and sat down anywhere we liked, then had to go up to the counter to order, but I kind of like that it's got a more casual vibe during the day. <br/><br/>I ordered bruschetta for entre which was nice but I am not a huge tomato fan and found it wasn't diced small enough. I had fettuccini carbonara for main which was amazing! I would usually add chicken but decided not to this time to save money, and it was still just as good without. The pasta was silky and covered in sauce, I love my pasta to be extra saucy!! My sister got the lasagna and a side of chips and salad, which she enjoyed. Got an iced mocha for my drink which was well made. <br/><br/>Will definitely be coming back here as I would love to give a higher rating if my next experience is just as good! <br/>

Had two chicken schnitzel and one calamari delivered tonight. When the food arrived after an hour wait, all three meals were cold. Calamari was awful, and there was only one mushroom sauce but we ordered two schnitzel ... sauce was a watery salty mess with a few mushrooms thrown in. Had the schnitzel been warm it would have been nice, but the rest was a real let down. Disappointed, and won't be buying here again

It's pretty hit and miss when it comes to the service - the woman who I think is the manager (short with dark hair?) seems really nice but the younger girls need a bit more menu knowledge. Asked whether a certain dish is vegetarian friendly and the question was pawned off 3 times to 3 different people. They could be more attentive too - need a bit more attention to detail. The lighting is harsh and the decor is too much, so I generally get take-out. Would go for their pastas over their pizzas but their pastas have way too much oil. It's a good local Italian, I'd take it over Pastacup at least.

We had been looking forward to getting food from here and were sadly disappointed. Ordered a delivery which we were told would take 40 minutes- took nearly an hour and a half. Gamberi Pizza base was burnt and unsure if the prawns were even cooked through so the pizza was binned. Carbonara had egg shell through it. Such a shame as the menu looks delicious.

Cafe Avellino Wanneroo is located within the Drover's Marketplace Wanneroo, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features a fantastic kids play area. The play area features a small play structure with ball pit, soft play, a wall mounted ball maze, arcade game and there is a tv on the wall near the play area, that shows cartoons too.

We had a staff event here this week, for around 50 people. Simple fare - a selection of pizzas, hot chips & salad. <br/>The food was really quite good (g/f pizza for me, obvs) and they were well organised.<br/>The coffee was excellent and the service was friendly.

I ordered delivery today for lunch and was told half an hour. Took over an hour which is ok but the chips were soggy and cold, the hamburger bun was extremely hard and the chicken for my daughter was revolting.. i was very disappointed and will not be back

I wanted to love this place as I have been for coffee before and it's been lovely, however a group of 5 of us came for dinner on a Monday evening and the service was appalling. The one waitress was run off her feet (but did a great job considering!). First of all, when we eventually were served we had dirty wine glasses brought out to us, which they took back to clean and return to us. Then eventually we were asked to order mains which we did, & while they were ok, they were nothing special. We then waited and waited to be asked If we wanted desert which we did end up ordering chocolate lava cakes, but after about 15 minutes were told they were all frozen, so we settled for sticky date instead. Was ok, but again nothing special. Unfortunately won't be back.

I was devastated a few months back when my favourite pizza place closed its doors for the last time. Nothing else could compare. The base it lovely and light and the toppings plentiful.<br/><br/>There is a kids menu with all meals priced at $10.50 and are served in a treasure chest box with a pop-top drink and an ice cream or cookie.<br/><br/>Cafe Avellino is super family friendly. In the corner of the dining area is a dedicated toddler play area with heaps of soft play.
