A non descript bottle shop containing a fish and chip shop I think most people in the area are unaware it exists.
The fish and chips for $10 is great value with a decent serving. The fish nor the chips are oily and the chips are perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside.
The fish is lightly battered and perfectly cooked inside. Pretty tasty. I think the only thing lacking is seasoning - a bit more on the chips, some on the fish before cooking and a little extra on the golden battered fish after cooking. Friendly service too.

Used to come here all the time for fish and chips but in the last couple months they have really skimped on the chips, even ordering an extra $4 serving is like what they used to give with the regular $10 fish and chips. Otherwise it tastes great, sometimes the seafood is definitely not fresh though.
How can you not love johns food and liquor great cheap fish and chips! Also great staff who always treat me great! Check them out I couldn't recommend them enough
If you are after good old style fish and chips Johns fish and chips in the celebrations bottle shop on Bennett st east perth is the place. Have been 3 times now and they are bloody beautiful.. please east perth residents, support this great new local fish and chip shop.

We live 6k away & order from here! 2 x basket leaves us with leftovers to eat the next day. Super tasty & always cooked to perfection (to me) shows regular cooking oil cleaning and maintenance - a must for fresh tasting fish & chips
Old school fish and chips. Very nice. Even the 5 squid rings for my boy were nice and good size. Was a meal for him. Def recommend.
Really good value fish and chips shop hidden away in what is to the outside viewer just a regular old bottleshop. I've usually had lunchtime meals. Large servings at reasonable price
I like this one stop shop, the fish and chips are always fresh and nicely cooked even with urber eats delivery, service is friendly, a nice all rounder shop, clean and popular with the locals
How incongruous can you get ? A chippy in the back of the bottle shop?
I know. But i read the reviews. And they were great. So, being a big lover of fish and chips, I sceptically tried them.
And I was blown away. Such quality. Traditional battered fish and chips. Almost as good as what I'd get in England. Almost. If I had my way, and I know it doesn't suit a lot of Aussies, I'd have soggier chips. But that's a small thing.
When can I return?
Amazing fish and chips, wide variety of beers ,wines , Spirits and RTD ‘s . One stop shop for coffee, liquor, drinks, general groceries, milk etc. Fish and chips were off the beyond. Helpful staff.
The hot chips here are amazing. Freshly cooked every time.
