Way better then what I expected. After reading other reviews I was a little weary about this place. Nothing on the special lunch menu jumped out at me but I went along with some work colleagues anyway. At lunch they do a $20.00 deal which includes a house beverage, also stating it should be ready in 20 minutes or you get 20% off. We had a table of 10 and it probably did take 20 minutes but that was ok. Everything that came out looked really good, generous sizes considering a drink and meal cost $20.00. My chicken couscous salad was overflowing with spinach, shredded carrot, pearl cous cous, a very nice dressing, a decent amount of chicken, pistachios and sun dried tomatoes. It was much better then expected and looking around the table everyone seemed to enjoy theirs and had no complaints. I would go back again.
OMG - loved it. The waiter Adam was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and provided genuine service he is an asset to the restaurant. Entree of Chicken Chowder was beautiful it was thick,creamy full of flavour, the 2 mains - pork chop & sweet potato chips as well Singapore Curry were sensational and dessert being cinnamon donut sticks with chocolate dipping sauce were delicious. I would strongly recommend this restaurant add the view of the sunset and it was a perfect evening - we are visiting from interestate and will be back before we go home
Hidden Gem. Recently stayed at the newly renovated Rendezvous Studio Hotel...Monday the 7th. I thought it was fantastic... the rooms were very well done and very comfortable. the overall look and feel of the hotel was really well done and modern. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, especially our server Matt, we even made a point to thank the Head Chef for the food as it was fantastic! we shared the buffalo chicken wings... OH... MY...GOD... AWESOME!! The ribs werer amazing and my partner had the eye fillet, very good...thanks to Katherine for making our checking out a smooth one. we loved our stay so much were are going to book again for Australia day!
