Always order the Phuket Fried Rice.

Service is good and food is served quickly.

It is good value for money and a decent standard.

I remember when this "cafe" first opened. Meals were less than $10. The prices have increased over the last few years by $3, and the portion sizes have decreased too. The take away containers used to be filled, there is now a lot of empty space.

But I keep going back because the food is good. And service is always friendly.

My absolute favourite place for lunch in the city! Worth the walk from the top of the terrace, the ladies always remember my order which is nice, always fresh and made mind blowing-ly fast. Love that they accommodate for vegetarians :-)

Smokey Fried Rice. Solid fried rice, smokey, generous chicken slices, a few more leafy greens would be nice though.
One of the best fried rice going around.

Fast and good food. I normally come here when I forget to bring lunch. Staff are very friendly (they remember me and my order which is slightly tweaked from what they have on the menu). It gets quite busy just after 12pm but quietens down a little at after 12:30pm. My only comment is when they serve the chicken and rice (one of their specials that come up randomly), it would be nice if there was a little more coriander than 1 piece.

While the menu is small, this is by far the best Thai lunch place in Perth I've found. And I've tried many.

Basil chilli chicken is outstanding.

I went to kao san for my lunch. It was very busy. Surprisingly they made it so fast and fresh. Their meal was huge and only cost me $10.90. Their service were very nice and friendly

Great Thai at Reasonable Prices. Decided to try this restaurant last week as it always appears busy during lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the timeliness of service considering how busy they were. I had the Green Curry and Teriyaki Chicken combo. The portions were very filling. I haven't had a Green Curry that tastes that good for at least 10 years in Perth. It was very creamy and rich in flavor. The Terriyaki was moist and caramelized well with plenty of yummy sauce...and we all know its all about the sauce! I also tried the mixed sushi, which I took home to have a few hours later. It was tasty and nicely rolled. I am definitely coming back this week to try other dishes!
