The restaurant is nice and they serve many varieties of Chinese dishes.

i adore this place its probably my favourite restaurant, that food is so so tasty especially the bbq pork and its also really affordable i love it i come here every week

Irrespective of the quality of the food, this business has for more than two years, been adding 1% to all eft transactions. I have pointed out twice that this is illegal but they are so arrogant believing that they are trading lawfully. Showing customers a drawing highlighting merchant fees is both insulting and still illegal.

We have always had nice food at Golden Barbeque, but tonight was a cut above. Peking Duck (2nd course with noodles), and a new dish, Clay Pot Chicken & Mushroom. Recommended.

Saturday night take away. The food was excellent, we really enjoyed it. Look forward to going back!

Beautiful food but the service is sometimes a hit and miss here when it is busy.

I love the honey prawn and sweet and sour pork.I went there at 8pm last night,they still take my order and very friendly service.Cheap price as well.My husband love the hainanese chicken and roasted pork. Definitely will come back!

the food sits so well in the stomach, not that heavy feeling. i have been getting beef and black bean for years now. So fresh and delicious and quick!

Bad service. Tried to get the waiter's attention 4 times to place an order. All 4 times he saw us yet ignored us. Had to wait till another guy was free to come take our order. The same waiter who ignored us took another family's order later so he was actually capable of taking orders but chose not to.

A 35 minute wait for a stir fry noodles take away dish is way too long of a wait. And we ordered at 6.15pm too, not during peak hour. No apologise or explanation from wait staff why food comes out that long. Will not come back again when there is plenty of other asian dining options around

Mum and l went for lunch yesterday about 12.15. Very quiet and looked ok. What a mistake! The one so called server knew nil about customer service. We waited and waited then decided to just sit anywhere. After another 5 minutes he hung up the phone and walked ever so slowly toward us with a menu. 10minutes of me waving and calling and he came to take order. 15 minutes and entree of spring rolls arrived followed by 1 main, then the other main of beef and noodles ,,,yuk,,and at almost the end,, the dumplings. Dry bland no sauce of any sort. In one word/ ghastly. After 10 minutes of waving and yes shouting, l finally went to the counter and said we would like totake the rest home for the dogs.<br/>He was not impressed but handed me 2 containers and charged me 50 cents each. I told him that was totally inappropriate and unfair as we had spent over $35 . I told him the food was only ok and that we would not return.

Customer service was terrible. We were gifted a groupon voucher and when we called up to book we were told we have to book at least one day in advance. No big deal. I asked to book on Saturday and was told they couldn't do it on Saturdays and how about a monday? Then he changed his mind and let me book on Saturday. Something came up and i had to cancel and change to monday anyway. We drove 40+ minutes with 2 screaming young kids in the car only to be told they don't accept groupon vouchers on monday!! I argued because if that was the case why wasn't i told when i booked! It was going to expire before we could get another chance to eat out. They eventually let us eat there with it but when they went to scan the voucher it wasn't working so she told us they can't accept it. I asked her to use the ID code and finally it worked. After all this we were so over it and had lost our appetites. To top it all off the entire night the elderly female owner (i assume) was giving us dirty looks. The food was decent but this has put us off permanently. Such a shame. No wonder their reviews are so bad. It seemed like they were mucking us around purposely to delay us using the voucher. If there are so many terms and conditions they need to be stated clearly on the coupon!!!

We had a few dishes here! We had the Banquet D, $16.80 which was chicken congee with pan fried dumplings. Dumplings were not very nice, bit burnt and the congee tasted like packet congee, so not really impressed. The boneless duck noodles (dry) was $13 - good quantity of duck, and tasted authentic! We also had the beef hor fun noodles $12 and it was pretty delicious. Large serve, couldn't finish! The hong kong iced tea $4 was really good, but I got it 'less sweet' !<br/>Overall, there are some cheap meals here  - $6.80 lunch specials seem popular, but not sure of quality. We opted for the more expensive dishes and were only disappointed with the congee/dumplings. Keen to try more next time!

Disappointed with roast pork with sambal sauce. Ordered takeaway. Pork was soggy and sauce lacked flavour. Not the authentic sambal sauce I expected.

Very authentic taste of roast duck from my perspective as a Cantonese growing up in the Roast duck/pork/rib culture. Big portion.waiters are attentive. Haven't try other dishes yet since I come here every time when I am craving for home taste.

Bad quality food, bad customer service. Food was not worth what I paid for. Roast pork was very old and stale. The spring rolls tasted as if it was bought from Coles. I was served with only four small pieces of pork. It took 30minutes for them to serve the stale, cold food. <br/><br/>Update 30/6/2017: later in the night, I ended up vomiting everything. I got food poisoning from dining in this place!

Good service, good food and for really good value. Service has improved a lot since previous management and food comes out quick and prompt! Will come again for sure

Menu has a great selection of food and is full of flavor and is really fresh and tasty. Service was good, friendly staff members. Will go here again!

DO NOT GO HERE ITS SHIT<br/>1 they gave us take away without asking <br/>2 it's tastes like ABSOLUTE POO <br/>3 we didn't get sauce which was supposed to be with the meal so they made us pay for sauce <br/>4 we had to eat take away inside the restaurant and they didn't give <br/>5 the customer service is absolutely shocking because they rolled their eyes when we wanted to have the sauce like what the actual. <br/>

Went for a quick dinner. Extremely poor service where the waitress rolled her eyes upon being asked for sauce. Ordered roast duck with rice which took around 15minutes to come. Taste of the food bought was below average, they even charged money for sauce/chilli oil. Will not be going back for sure.

I was given a treat, a night off from cooking and the associated cleaning, after a late run at baseball. I opted for a quick and easy dinner at Waterford where there is lots of cheap and good choice. We chose this place for no good reason and had a nice meal. The service was very quick and the meal was out quickly and hot and fresh. My criticisms are that the order of food was just as it was ready and there wasn't much meat in any of the dishes. We had the delicious San Choi Bow, spring rolls, Pad Thai (with scant prawns and chicken), beef satay with rice (same story with the beef) and the obligatory prawn crackers. All up, $42 for three people. Not bad really although a bit more meat in the dishes would go a long way to improving things.

Ordered $80 worth of takeaway food including 'barbecue pork' only to get home and find that they had not included the pork. After ringing to tell them that the pork was missing, we were informed to look in the container with the vegetables. Alas, we found the pork. All 4 pieces of it, hidden under a mountain of vegetables which is not what we ordered. $16 for 4 pieces of pork which equates to $4 each piece. Will not be going back and will be recommending friends go elsewhere.

Well... We looked at the Chinese restaurant over the road, and we looked in this place. This place was full of Asians... They must be doing something right... Let's go in here. So, we went In and sat down and then we read the Zomato reviews.... We nearly left the place the reviews were scathing We had a great feed... The service was great, the food was good... We'll be back.

Price is a little high compared to the food portions served. The roast pork contains more fat than lean meat. I've never had so much fat in roast pork before. $12 for a plate of Kai Lan when most places are under $10.

This is a great cheap restaurant suitable for families and couples alike. Fast service and delicious food. Chilli on table is very spicy hot!

I am surprised at the negative reviews... I thought our dinner last night was delish! The kids had the bbq pork or chicken, rice and spring rolls - and smashed them. I had the shredded duck and (dry) noodles. They were so good (but could have used a little more duck). Hubster has the combination noodles and said it was the best he had eaten in ages. The staff are lovely, albeit a little overrun with a large number of hungry Friday night customers. The decor is outdated and it a bit noisy to sit and talk over dinner, but hey! Who cares if the chow is yum :)

Awful. Never going back.. Ordered Wonton Noodles (dry), Salted fish and chicken fried rice, and Combination Ho Fun with egg sauce. I enjoyed the combination ho fun noodles with egg sauce. No complaints there. The wonton noodles were a clump of unflavoured egg noodles with barely any sauce. The wontons were nice though. And you also normally get some soup on the side, even with dry wonton noodles. I think they took the term "dry" too literally and had no idea. The fried rice was a disaster. That has to be the worst fried rice I have ever tasted. If you actually got a bit of salted fish on your spoon, that gave it some flavour, else I might have just eaten shredded cardboard. Was inedible and we chucked it out. Never going back. Unless you're desperate, I would not try this restaurant.

I think Golden Barbeque might be under new management (fingers crossed) because service wasn't all bad when I was here. We were seated and served promptly (as did 4 other tables that arrived after me) however the food is a bit average. Not bad but it isn't my favorite.

Very bad servives!!!. All the staff didn't have gd services except an lady, I was waiting for take away and there was a guy with glasses just like throw it on the table and said: take away ok! <br/>NEVER come back!

Good but won't be a favourite.. Tried the roast pork and roast duck for lunch. Taste and portion was quite alright. Agree with other reviews- service is poor.

Food is alright, service is abysmal. I was seated before two other tables, but the waitress came to take their orders first, and of course their food came out before mine. It wasn't a short wait either, their food arrived at least 10 minutes before mine did. I had some noodles with BBQ pork and roasted duck, the taste was good but not good enough to make up for the service. Then when I went to pay, they didn't want to take my $20 bill because it looked old and they asked me for a different one. I told them absolutely not, this is legal tender and they have to take it. Definitely will not be returning.

The food is so yummy!!!....had different meals there 4 times so far and all dishes were so so so so yummy!!!!!!....cant wait to go again and try more dishes :D

Don't be fooled by the name change. Food is still appalling – tasteless, small portions, expensive, not fresh. Service is also still appalling – waitress forgot a dish and did not apologise when it did not come out. No compensation for wait times or disappointment. I agree with the other reviewer: save yourself and go to Ten Ten across the way.

Really changed the name AGAIN and except people to give it a 3rd chance? Sell ur store while u can ten ten house across is by far better.
