Food is tasty but small serves. Not sure if squid/prawns are from Australia as I forgot to ask. Ice kachang initially was melted so sent it back and new one was white inside and looked different from the other tables. Tried to tell the chef but it was not taken well.

Thoroughly enjoyed the authentic nyonya food. We ordered the laksa, sambal fried rice, and buah keluak chicken fried rice. For dessert we had cendol and blue sago. We then ended our lunch with Malaysian coffee and teh tarik. Everything was delicious and service was fantastic. No complaints whatsoever and highly recommended.

Great Malaysian food.. Quite long wait for food due to many customers ordering around samd time... The durian cendul desert was very authentic. The satay meat flavour was good but didn't like the inconvenience of having to remove the burnt parts while eating. The satay source taste good but seemed on the watery side with more oil than nuts..

Very nice and tasty Nyonya fried rice (seafood) and the spiced fried chicken. Durian cendol with real durian pulp👍🏼. Price is reasonable.
Must visit if you like eating Malaysian food.
Can be very busy and packed at times.

I haven't not been back to this restaurant for years until now. Amazingly the food standard has gone up drastically!

This restaurant always makes such amazing Nyonya cuisine - not your standard Malaysian fair and worth the trek - standouts are the Otak Otak, Assam Barramundi, Chicken Rendang, Chicken Ponpei and the blue sago dessert.

First visit to this restaurant - We went as a group of 6. Call them up and made a reservation as it was a small place nothing posh. One of your neighbourhood go to places for hearty food. We all had different dish each so that we could try the flavors. It was divine. All the food was really tasty.
My favorite Cendol durian was really yummy - comes in a small bowl but it's almost double the size. I even take away their blue sago. Definitely will recommend to family and friends.

Curry laksa is very thick soup. Blue hula Melaka sago is not very sweet. It is nice. Service is good.

We ordered the Cincalok Omelette, Beef Rendang and Inci Kabin. Food decent and friendly service. We really like the taste of the Beef Rendang. It was recommended by the restaurant as well. We were late and some of the dishes were not available. Will go back again for the Jiu Hu Char and Otak Otak. Always love a good peranakan meal and this place does it well. 👍🏻👍🏻

1/7/20: It has became one of our favourite restaurants. Our favourite dishes are Nyonya Fried Rice with Petai, Mee Goreng, Cendol.
Little Nyonya Kitchen is around 6 months old. Having seen the recent demise of restaurant within this same genre, i was a little excited to hear of this place. It’s located in a secluded and small cluster of units in Canning Vale. The venue is modest. Sterile but not an unpleasant ambience. At the time we arrived there was only one wait person but in their defense we were the only ones there.
As usual I wanted to order everything but there was only 3 of us. So I had to be “sensible”! We went for a fish, vegetable and chicken. We felt the fish wasn’t fried perfectly and to their credit they were quick to acknowledge with an apology.
The chicken and aubergine was well prepared.
The desserts were delicious.
Overall I felt it was a good effort and fairly authentic but with room to improve.
I’m definitely heading back as the proprietor pointed to their buah kluak fried rice! For those in the know it’s a little like the holy grail of Asian delicacy!
Food: 7.5
Ambiance: 5
Service: 6 (because they’re very friendly)
