Never had Bhutan food before. Service was so good. Out of this world. Food was also beautiful. Will be back. Owner insisted we tried the lentil soup. My friend wouldn't eat it but they still have me a small bowl complimentary. I'm a chef and that was the best lentil soup in my life.
Delicious momos, great lassi and some really interesting authentic Bhutanese dishes. You don't expect to find authentic Bhutanese 15 minutes from the Perth CBD, but that's what you'll get here.
Service is great, very friendly and helpful (offered us the less spicy versions of everything - we declined but it's a good idea if you can't handle chili, which is a very common ingredient in Bhutanese food!).
The dried beef dish, Shakam Paa, was hearty and tasty, made of thick, soft, beef 'jerky' pieces and lots of chili. Pork belly curry was delicious as well, again very spicy and rich/fatty, with its own unique spice blend.
Well worth a trip for the momos alone!
I love the owner and the staff so professional and always in love with Bhutan cusine dumplings. Keep going and will visit once again 😁
