I was having a terrible start to my day before I got my lunch from the Sumo Salad at Carillion City. The salads looked super fresh and I was served by ‘Zurah’. She was very friendly to me. I wasn't sure on ordering the Falafel & Hummus Salad but she said it was her Favourite salad and that it was really tasty. I couldn't agree more!! The salad was quite fulfilling. I told her that the start to my day wasn't that great.... and she said "hopefully you enjoy the rest of your day and that it'll make you forget the start to your day" That was super nice and made me smile :) What a lovely franchise!! I recommend coming here definitely if the service is like this!
Sumo Salad has some of the best salad I have tried before. I love their penne, caesar salad, and sweet potato salad to name a few. Many variety, each with unique flavor and veges combo. Quick serving too as all the salads are ready to go so it is idea for my "healthy" and quick lunch.
The only downside is that the portion seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Even their largest portion at $12.95 is pretty regular, their regular portion at $10.95 is small, and their small portion is just not worth it.
Second SS not displaying prices correctly. However service was good when I raised the issue. And the pesto chicken wrap is good! $5.95 is definitely not justified for the 3 bites that make a half wrap. Nor is $9.50 for full size. You can pay $10 and get a much larger wrap elsewhere. I don't plan on returning, just happened to be in the area with a voucher to use. I'm lucky to have to best SS that is Central Park as my local.
They usually have a better range than other sumo salad stores... Still I have only seen the asparagus risotto once and that's my favourite! The coconut chicken is nice too, though most other stuff is a little boring.
Refreshing to have on a hot day. You do get a lot of salad but it's a bit pricey. Got a bowl of salad with chicken strips and an egg for $12.95. still nice to eat though
I had a great experience from this store, they made my wrap very fresh and lots of ingredients which you wont be sad about the price. The lady remembers me and my order which was nice.
I got a fortifying salad here, and got served quickly. My companion has to wait quite a long time for a wrap. Good food.
