Review 3sheets On The Lake - Perth

We dropped in for lunch on a lovely sunny autumn afternoon. Greeted and served by friendly welcoming staff. Delicious food, Thai barramundi salad and zucchini noodle squid salad, enjoyed with a relaxing view of the lake. Nice chilled ambience. Recommend!

Food was well flavoured all serves tasted good. Only issue was one serving, the Mediterranean Chicken Kebab Salad @ $24 for 2 Kabab's and over 1/2 plate of mixed leaves seemed very expensive to me. And all other 4 dish were delivered to table and there was a 15min extra wait for this Mediterranean Chicken Kebab Salad with only 2 Kabab? There was no table service even have to get your own water. Parking is limited as most is designated to the shopping centre with a threat of a fine. Did not identify any ACROD permit parking near to restaurant. There were 2 near shopping centre, if free you need to cross carpark. Access is tight for mobility impaired when busy.

Arrived earlier than expected for our booking, was able to be seated straight away. Great cocktails and prompt service. The meal was delicious and staff were friendly. We sat outside with the patio heaters and watched the footy. We will be back soon.

Nice location and chill environment! Loved it, was good. Didn’t eat food here but will come back! 3sheets beer is good!

Pleasant views, proactive, informative, polite, and appropriately dressed reliable staff. Wine list included a Great Southern Regional White Wine. The food local and reasonable in price. Also The assurance of fully vaccination patrons for Dine in, social distancing, as well as masked staff and patrons (when not eating or drinking)making the experience safe, calming and exceeding all other western suburbs forays to other restaurants June 2020. Thank you.

Went to 3 sheets on the lake today and had the most beautiful meal. Big salad with grilled chicken. Absolutely delightful with awesome flavours. Great atmosphere and service was first class. Will return for sure. Thanks 👏

Worst food ever. Venue is great, lovely outlook but the food is really ordinary. Chips don't rule. Why are there no nice clean options? The limited options re salads have heaps of dressing all through them. The tables stick to your arms. Erk! We have repeatedly tried to eat there but now it's a few drinks and out of there. How can it be so hard in this day and age with all the focus on good food and health that this stuff is still presented? It's like some 1980s pub in a country town.

Extremely disappointing lunch today. Ordered the kids nachos which was a sprinkle of cheese with a side of salsa and guacamole very expensive for what it was, also ordered the main nachos with pulled beef. The beef was a huge lump in the middle (not pulled beef) and was not great overall when I showed the manager she could not see the problem with it although returning my money without question but with a bad attitude. If the manager is not understanding of what the dish should be there is an issue. It’s a shame as the last time I was there prior to the refurbishment of the restaurant the food was very good.

Visited 3 Sheets on the Lake last Friday. The service was slow. It took 25 minutes for 2 x Corona's to be brought to the table. The meals were cold and incorrect orders were brought out. Asked to speak to the manager but no-one came to the table after complaining 3 x times. No apology or compensation was offered by any staff members. Will not be returning.

It offers good pub food and located facing Jackadder lake. We have ordered battered fish & chips, and a classic burger and they are both delicious. A relaxing place for an afternoon.

The location is next to a small local shopping centre. From outside, it seems a nice relaxed spot to have a meal looking out to the lake on a sunny day. Since my last visit to the area, something must have happened for the car park to be filled with 'No 3 sheets parking. Fines apply' signs. A car with wheels clamped on verge not far from the place. Parking issues aside, staff wasn't that welcoming and food a little slow. Still, it's a good to have a second option besides badabing across from it.

Dined with mates here last Tuesday night.

The visit started off a bit weird:
* Even though you can order drinks at the bar, their restaurant licence means you cannot take your drink from the bar nor walk around with your drink, the wait staff have to carry it for you.
* The guy on the bar was trying his very best, but did not seem to know anything about beer (told us the Blue Moon Belgian white was a pale ale and they did not serve wheat beer).

The food was great, the starters/share plates were excellent and the chicken parmi special for $15 was good value.

The staff are keen and have a sense of humour which made our night
So, a confusing start that was redeemed by friendly staff and good pub food.

Good, reliable pub food. We enjoyed their steak, fish n chips and truffle fries. Nice outdoor area as well so you can bring your pooches. Happy that this restaurant isn't pretentious and just serves laid back, simple pub food

The steak sandwich, fries and onions rings were great. The club sandwich was not - a really small, cold piece of chicken in the middle coated with a (really cold) layer of batter almost 1cm thick in places. Very mediocre. Service was fine and the view of the lake is nice. They need to add the loaded fries to the menu that they serve at their sister restaurant, Portside. I would go back, but I wouldn't order the club sandwich.

This was my second three sheets and it was definitely better than the last. The nachos I got were absolutely loaded and tasty, if overwhelmingly big. My friends got a burger and wings, which while tasty were repetitive and soaked in sauce. The menu was lacking in non- sauce soaked meat options, so if you go here expect decently priced reasonable pub fare. Definitely not anything special.

Went to 3 Sheets for the first time tonight. We all had burgers and fries which were fine but not much better than Hungry Jacks (except you wouldn't drop $100 at HJ's to feed a family of four). There's a lot more on offer but we won't be back because the place is feral with screaming kids and barking dogs. Who would have guessed small children and pets don't like sitting for prolonged periods in busy restaurants! If you're looking for somewhere to eat with a unique ambience between playground and zoo this is definitely the place to come. An absolute cracker for those who stupidly thought they were going out for a nice family dinner by the lake. On the plus side service was super fast so we got to escape quickly. Phew.

Great location, food and service. We ordered the pork belly bites, buttermilk popcorn chicken and fries. The place was pretty busy and seems to be packed each time I've passed so that's a good sign. Food service was super quick. I think we only waited

The food was okay, the atmosphere was lovely, but PLEASE exercise proper hygiene! We watched the MANAGER sneeze into his hands and then didn't use soap! Please.

Fantastic place. Great food, great location and a great range of beers on tap. Lots of entertainment for the kids. Staff are very friendly with a positive attitude. Good to see in a new suburban venue..

Really wanted to love this place as there is a shortage of casual, pub like places that serve decent food in the area. I had ribs and my partner had the New York sirloin. Food came out fast and the service was friendly however the meal was a real let down. The ribs were covered in a over powering sweet sauce straight from a bottle, the ribs themselve were a real cheap cut and the whole dish was just not great. My partners steak was “ok” but for $40 you’d expect a bit more than “ok”.

We are really hoping it’s all teething issues as the location and set out is awesome and we are really wanting to have something great to walk up to with our pooch!
