Review Tutti Frutti - Perth

Pixie Strawbs
This store has a great rotating range of flavours, yummy toppings and friendly staff. It is paid by weight so can be a little pricey if you overfill your cup, but it’s always worth it for me! I really appreciate the posters next to the flavours showing the flavour information, including the dairy-free options, yum!

Love Fro Yo πŸ˜ƒ but not happy with the staff. Last time when we visited the store we had to wear mask and the girl was very rude towards my Husband and was not happy to help. We had to ask her 3 times to assist as she was just standing behind the counter, they need to be trained how to handle customers and keep them happy with service. Honestly I felt like I was getting ice cream as a charity πŸ™ƒπŸ˜Ÿ

Just visited 20min ago (23rd Jan) and recieved extremely RUDE service from the girl at the counter. I haven't been to Tutti Frutti in years and I recieved no welcome when entering the store and rude remarks about not placing it on the scale. It was disappointing and I regret spending my money there. GET BETTER STAFF!
Carmen Garside
Disgusted that they regularly have pigeons eating out of the open toppings containers and don't seem to care! Health hazard!

Tutti Frutti is always an easy place to get fro yo from, you just take a cup, pour as much fro yo as you want, they weight and then you pay! Mine are always under $20 for a heap of fro yo including toppings πŸ˜„

Its very good! Nice flavours and toppings.. just a bit $$$ but probably worth it.

Casual dessert drop in shop. A couple of tables for hanging out. Frozen yogurt with a huge array of self serve toppings. My daughter's favorite shop for sweet treats.

It was quite mediocre. The flavour feels very fake, too much artificial colour and probably concentrate, especially in the watermelon flavour that I chose, which is fine because taste is a very subjective matter. But then comes the thing I feel insulted. They put plastic spoon in the container before weighing it. I don't know if it was just me or they do it to all customers, because at least I didn't experience such practice at other frozen yoghurt places.

I love this place. Always friendly and prompt service. Clean store. Delicious and fresh frozen yogurt with a huge variety of toppings and condiments.
Dpizzy
I like frozen yogurt and happened to stumble past this place one night. The yogurt was so good I ended up having 2 big serves. Worth trying out
Foodieperth
When I came after going to the meatball bar, only half the flavours weren't sold out😞 and most of the good ones were😭 but I still got my usual salted caramel, with a whole load of toppings such as cookie dough, brownies and tim tams πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

I'm hooked on the yoghurt ice creams from Tutti Frutti. I don't think they need toppings, but they're tempting.
Love the fact that I can serve myself with several flavour combinations. Especially happy to discover the two-for-one winter deal on the quiet week days during winter.
Happymuncher
I love mixing a wide variety of flavours and adding toppings such as fruit or lollies. This is one of my favourite quick and easy dessert places
Kylo Ren
Great idea, and tasty froyo. The toppings are a nice touch and it's great how the yogurt flavours change every so often. Staff are always friendly, and food is affordable.
Lals
Yum yum and yum. Pick from a variety of frozen yoghurt, choose any topping you desire, nuts, lollies, jelly, chocolate, fruit. My favourite is the cookies and cream with strawberries, nuts and chocolate sauce. It's on weight, so watch out.. Don't get too greedy.
Izzy Alyce
Great tasty frozen yoghurt, would definitely get it without the toppings next time as I'm not a big fan of frozen or tinned fruit but the yoghurt flavours by themselves are nice anyway
Indi
I like the idea of how you have 1 sized cup and it's up to you to fill it how you want. The chocolate flavour icecream is to die for and the quality is great. As well as the toppings being really varied. And it's not expensive if you put the right amount in.
Krishna Rubadas
Good yoghurt outlet. About 8 options of yoghurt available and many variety of toppings. Its all self serve and you pay by weight. Will definitely visit again.
MF
Frozen yoghurt with choice of toppings from fresh fruit to lollies. There are lactose free options. My kids love this as a snack or dessert but it can be very expensive as you pay by the weight!!Β
The staff are always friendly.
Of note though last time we came here my son ended up very sick - so we now worry about the freshness of the fruits etc on display. Although it may have been coincidence and he'd be back tomorrow and the day after if offered.
Rachel Williamson
A great place for dairy free fro yo. The oreo one is especially good! Great toppings variety, and the owner is so friendly! Always quite quiet in here, too. Prices aren't so bad either.
Dale & Hannah
Tutti Frutti is one of the few places I know I can go to get a dairy free dessert. They regularly have one sorbet option and a soy option.

Some tips if you've never had to pay for froyo by weight before – don't fill up the cup too much and fresh fruit is really heavy because it's got so much water in it. Even if you go a little overboard, it's still so much better value than gelato, and you can try as many flavours as you want in one cup and add whatever you want to it. Sounds good to me.

I enjoy coming here after a meal if I have room to fit in frozen yogurt! I noticed that the staff makes an effort to clean the tables. It's good that they change the flavours ever so often.
LittleGirlBigFood
Was wondering what the hupla was about when it came to frozen yogurt. It seems it's not entirely misplaced. Frozen yogurt laden with fruit and confectionery. Is it healthy? No
Ilovefood
I love Tutti Frutti!!. I love love love tutti frutti! My favourite store is Leederville but I also love going to Vic Park. They change their flavours all the time so each time you go is like a new experience! My favourites are nutella, salted caramel, red velvet and green apple. The toppings bench is to die for, I never know what toppings to choose, they all look so good and fresh. The staff always smile and say hello and always ask if I have been there before and if I need any help. What more could you ask for. YUM!

And the award for World's Worst Customer Service goes to.... I went to tutti frutti as I have been a great fan of their frozen yoghurt from the beginning. I usually go to the Mt Lawley store, however I was in the Leederville area and decided to just get some froyo. I was appalled by the customer service I received. The manager/owner who I believe is called Kath, was the most unfriendly and rude lady I have met. She should not be a business owner if she does not know how to respect customers. She was so depressing I wanted to drown myself in my frozen yoghurt. I will never return and will make sure nobody I know returns there ever again - not to mention the frozen yoghurt was unsatisfactory and the topping station was messy and unappealing compared to other stores I have been to.

Normally I love this place but when I came in, things didn't look very clean... The lychee water/juice had white residue patches on the top, didn't have a spoon for it either. M&Ms looked like they'd been there for a while. A long while. I did love the choc fudge sauce and caramel fudge sauce though but these frozen yoghurt places need to start covering up their toppings for hygiene and freshness!

Bring back the brownie!. Nom nom nom. But can get pricey so use self control. Sometimes difficult to do, especially for froyo fiends. Lots of competition popping up but this froyo joint has been around for awhile. Used to take my siblings here for a treat β™‘
Jellee Babee
Yummy. Great choice of flavours and toppings. At $27.50/kg it can be pricey though - my husband filled his small cup with froyo and treats and it came to $12! Thankfully our kids were more restrained :)
Love the free taste tests and the variety ensures there's something for everyone. $32/family of 5 is great value on a hot arvo
Food 2 Run
Called in after a run around lake monger and was super... Top shelf really friendly service..

Delicious! Frozen yoghurt is never the same in Australia as it is in Europe! That is until tutti frutti arrived in town! I had the red velvet and Oreo and chocolate! All delicious. Expensive though! Very expensive. And I noticed the scales did not start the weight on 0 grams. It started on 0.15 grams. Wanted to ask why but forgot. Went with my pregnant friend. She could not have any which I felt bad about! But not bad enough to not have any! Hahaha she got some churros instead. Pregnant women cannot eat frozen yoghurt...weird!
Foodie123
Addicted. I cannot get enough of frozen yogurt! A healthy dessert!
Nele.wittler
Soy ice cream!. Tutti Frutti is one of the only places in Perth that has an vegan frozen yoghurt option, always 2 different flavours and really delicious =)
Alex Smith
This place is disgraceful...ridiculously over priced...the self serve is a trap! because everyone knows their eyes are bigger than their stomaches... Ended up paying $9 for something I could have paid $5.50 to get from another establishment! They label themselves as a healthy option but as I recently discovered it's made from water and powder which makes it artificial and bad for you!! May aswell not have it at all. Will never be returning
Madison
Love it!. Tutti Frutti is my favourite place for a treat! I love the selections of flavours and toppings, I'm always happy with the choices.
The selections of flavours and toppings is a trap! The first time I went I got carried away with all the combinations, and it ended up costing way too much than I thought.
There needs to be a smaller cup size, as it is too easy to fill up one of the big cups! Not appropriate for kids too.

Great frozen yoghurt, but too pricey.

Also, get an eftpos machine!!! Or at least have more signage that it is cash only, as the nearest ATM is quite far away and not easy to quickly pop out to. Get with the times and get an eftpos machine.
Monica Grinstead
I asked the same question when I went there. The reason it doesn't start at zero is because they take off .015gm which is the weight of the large cups. So if you only get a small you are actually getting more bangs for your buck :)
Nick
Today I had beautiful dessert after ages .I had excellent customer service by skinny and tall girl . very happy to give free taste yoghurt was creamy .
Love_my_food
I absolutely love the frozen yoghurt here - the highest quality yoghurt in Perth! It's creamy and tasty and isn't too bad for you! I am in love with their soy yoghurt and it's such a nice thing to have! The older staff are amazing but the younger staff definitely need more work!
Anonymous
Agree with another reviewers comments... The younger woman has terrible customer service. Walked in and she was swearing/complaining to a friend about the business. Instead of changing her attitude cause a customer was there, she just continued as if I didn't exist.
Wanted to say 'I know why you're business isn't going well... It's got nothing to do with the weather!'
Little Food Adventures
Best Froyo. I think this place has the best frozen yoghurt in Perth. After have bad experiences in Morley and Hillarys with other franchises this one really does beat them all. Nice texture and a great variety of flavours.
Staff is very friendly.
James Fisher
First came across this franchise in Cambodia of all places and pumped that it has made it's way to Australia. One of the better yoghurt bars going around, banana and blueberry flavours with crushed almonds on top is a winner
Mystery Diner
Overated. After reading the reviews, I was really looking forward to try the frozen yogurt. When I arrived there, I was overwhelmed with the choices of flavours (at least 8 flavours) and toppings - They have lots more choices than other yogurt places I have been. It is self-serve and you are allowed to mix & match how ever you like - they charge you by weigh.
I mixed most flavours and had dark chocolate & lychee as toppings.
Texture: ok, not very smooth
Taste: A bit artificial - not creamy
Service: Good - staff explained to us how it works
Price: On a higher end
Atmosphere: It is a tiny place which is pretty much all filled with yogurt machines and toppings. We sat outside.
Overall: I think it is overated, Although the variety is great, it is not the best frozen yogurt in Perth. There are at least 2 other places in Perth that I know do better frozen yogurt.
Caitlyn
Best frozen yoghurt in Perth!. Absolutely delicious, love not knowing which flavours they are going to have out that day. Wish there was more than one store in Perth!
Iliketoeat
Bad experience. I've been here many times and i love the green tea flavour!
One day i went in with my friends and there was a younger lady serving, and she was quite rude. So i got a cup of green tea and after i paid for it i tasted it and it tasted horrible. It was so sour and it tasted like it was off. it was just not what it usually taste like.
I asked the lady if I could have a refund because it tasted horrible and she said no and that she can guarantee that it was green tea flavoured. I told her that she should try some her self because it wasn't green tea. And she rudely replied "I dont eat green tea, but I can guarantee you that its green tea".

I mean, how can you guarantee if you dont even taste it? It was a bad experience. Usually i get served by a really friendly older woman and shes always very helpful. They probably mixed up the green tea and green apple....
Emily
Just a tad pricey. Awesome flavours and overall delicious though it is a bit pricey I would say, I recently visited Tutti Frutti on a half price night with 3 friends, and all together it equaled $24! Though luckily it was half price night.
Overall great experience, though the store get's so many customers that the prices going down a tad wouldn't hurt the profit of the business!
Sweet Tooth
One word YUM! ssooooo good and so glad they are back open now :) Vanilla, green tea and banana are very tasty indeed!
Sandy
Very good. Love this place. It's perfect for those of us who are physiologically less tolerant of icecream. So many flavours. Love the self-serve system. You can mix & match flavours and fill the tub right up if you have skilled hands. Pay by weight system is very convenient.
Lisa
Loved it. My favourite flavour is the green tea. I have a sweet tooth and this is where I can satisfy my cravings
Kay
Best froyo.. We drive here almost weekly to satisfy my froyo cravings. They are so good. And price is reasonable as well! The staffs are all friendly and helpful. Thumbs up!
LovesFood
Best frozen yoghurt in town. Love love love this place. I love most of the flavours such as Lychee, Coconut, Pomegranate, Vanilla, Traditional, etc. The only one I didn't like was the Green Tea (which I normally like).

I just have the yoghurt with no toppings and fill up my cup with its goodness :)

Also happy that they are open most of the time.. can't wait to get back there. Yum!

New Addiction. The owner is so friendly. She was very helpful and let us taste test some flavours. There are so many and the variety of yoghurt and toppings is great. I love the self serve concept! It was my first time having fro-yo and I'm definitely addicted.
Kacey
Best froyo in town!. The froyos taste good, friendly staff, and a pretty wide range of toppings!!
Sarey
Not nice. Really, really disappointed with their frozen yogurt. I'd tried it once before and was unimpressed but thought I'd give it another go because it's close to home and I really love frozen yogurt. I got a large mixed berry and blueberry yogurt. The berry yogurt had the exact same flavour as ski strawberry yogurt and both yogurts were very watery, nothing creamy about them at all. Also they were too cold to eat comfortably. This might seem a strange thing to say, but I've never encountered a frozen yogurt or ice cream that had that effect. I assume it's because they were so watery. Also they were unpleasantly grainy. If you want a quality frozen yogurt then head to Red Spoon.
Amber McGillicutty
Just had my first yogurt from there. It's over 40 degrees and the girl at the counter was still friendly and helpful. The yoghurt is superb. She encouraged me to try the lychee which was amazing! I'll be going there from now on everytime I get a frozen treat craving.
Bottomless Pit
Best frozen yoghurt I've ever had! Epic !
Coleo13
New passion for frozen yoghurt. Tutti Frutti frozen yoghurt is delicious! The flavours are distinct and fresh and you can certainly tell what you're eating. The lychee and green tea are my favourite! Although, I wish the store was bigger so they didn't have to rotate flavours.
Food Fan
Want more!. Delicious, great, and the best froyo around. Choc banana is my favourite flavour. Peanut was good too. Always leaves me wanting more when I finish!
Ann Green
Could do better. I asked the girl behind the counter how much per 100 gram and she answered "about $1.50 to $2.00". She said she didn't know exactly! NOT a good answer when you are paying by the weight!
She couldn't tell me the sugar content or anything about the probiotic cultures either, so I assume the staff don't get product training.
It cost me $5.50 for 1/3 of a cup (the smallest cup), so my yoghurt looked a little sad sat in the bottom of the cup.
The blue berry was quite nice, though a little lumpy, however the original was too sweet and not very tarty. I gave the toppings a miss as they looked a little tired and aged.
The Sneaky Pigeon
Having a love affair with.... Love this place more and more. The current new flavors- coconut, green tea and banana are my favorite, just so yummy!! I have found myself craving tutti-frutti fro-yo at various hours of the day. Service is always with a smile too. Keep up the good work guys!
Fish
Best frozen yoghurt around. Good choice of flavours and they let you test them all before picking your favourite. The consistency is what makes the yoghurt good. Not too hard and not runny like some others. Banana flavor was gold!
Master And The Chef
I have to admit that when Tutti Frutti opened recently along the main strip in Leederville I was a little disappointed. I thought "why would they replace a pizza shop with a frozen yoghurt shop, right across the road from a gelato shop, with winter approaching?".
Well I stand corrected.
There are lots of fun, flirty flavours to choose from. I love that it is self-serve and that you can mix as many flavours together as you desire.
My favourite flavours so far are vanilla, tutti fruitti original, lycee, passionfruit, dutch chocolate and blueberry. Well they are the only ones that I have sampled so far but I am confident that my list will continue to grow.
My husband and I find ourselves skipping dessert at restaurants so that we can stop by Tutti Frutti on the way home.
Also, as it is frozen yoghurt and not ice-cream it leaves my conscience feeling a little lighter that I haven't been too indulgent.
Matty Bear
This Can't End Well.... I think I've found my new addiction... and to think it's healthy? Always changing up flavours, friendly staff, and heaps of cool toppings.
May
Not so impressed with Red Velvet flavour but loving the chocolate cake pieces I had with it. I was craving for cake but feeling like I need to make a healthy choice after a pizza dinner. So this definitely helped satisfy the craving and still make me feel slightly better!
Queen Of Bad Timing
It's set up is simple but effective. They host about eight different flavours on any night out of a total rotating selection of around double that. Basically you take your cup (three different sizes) and choose your flavours with self service. You can mix and match as you like and even mix together two flavours that are side by side in a swirling combination. After you're done there, a topping bar offers sauces, lollies, fruits and chocolates to decorate as your heart sees fit.
Juji Chews
One of the places I always want to visit when we’re in Leederville is Tutti Frutti, the frozen yoghurt shop. This self-serve shop offers a selection of regularly rotated flavours and toppings, ranging from traditional, to down right nutty.
