Incredible, beautiful venue in the heart of the city. Cheyne and his staff at Moana Hall were easy to deal with, helpful with last minute changes and flexible. Thank you for a perfect night.

Moana Hall is one of the most beautiful venues in Perth, such a hidden gem! I have performed some beautiful concerts here, hosted by the lovely owner Cheyne who is an incredible supporter of live music. I'm so grateful to be able to perform in this gorgeous space, thank you Cheyne!

Quite possibly the most beautiful venue in Perth, this space is perfect for musical concerts and intimate evenings shared with friends. Cheyne is such a supporter of the arts and we have been so lucky to utilise this space for multiple sold out shows and functions. The wine list is fantastic, and I highly recommend the Chardonnay.

As a Perth wedding photographer I always love returning to Moana Hall. It is without a doubt one of the coolest venues in Perth. Cheyne and the team are absolutely amazing and will be sure to look after all your wedding needs. I highly recommend Moana Hall for your wedding day!

Attended a function at Moana in January. It was a wonderful night with fun loving, helpful and attentive staff. Even though we had to wear masks and follow the Government rulings for COVID-19, we all co-operated happily. The treatment we were given by the staff was impeccable and it was a fantastic night! Thank you to Moana, well done and very appreciated!

Was so excited to attend my niece’s 21st birthday party only to be welcomed by a very unwelcoming staff member. As I was trying to let her know my son had brought his student ID card so they knew his age and he didn’t have to be double vacs to attend due to his age, I didn’t even manage to get that far into the conversation as she Cut me off with, he’s not allowed in. This was a family event and my niece had already let the venue know her younger cousins would be attending along with their parents. Which I explained to her. I was then asked to prove that my child was MY CHILD! Absolutely disgusting. My child is mixed raced and I am white! I couldn’t believe my son was standing next to me whilst she was asking for proof of parent and how that made him feel! Meanwhile my brother in law walked straight in with his child with no proof needed! I can’t believe in this day and age my child will have to put with with narrow minded people like that! So many businesses struggling through this pandemic that would have been more then happy to host an epic event and appreciate paying customers in these hard times. It was like it was a massive hassle for us all being there. I would never recommend this venue and if I could give it zero stars I would! No people skills, no hospitality skills, racial profiling, absolutely disgusting!

I understand it is a hard time for everyone including the hospitality industry with the recent mandates, rules and regulations. Having to enforce these rules as a host is challenging no doubt. However I have to say there are ways and means of enforcing these rules - it doesn’t take much to be friendly and courteous as a host (and this will come back to you with friendly and courteous patrons…). From the moment we entered the venue, the female staff member was unnecessarily forceful and not at all tactful about how she requested rules to be followed. We arrived with our hands full with the birthday cake, and had to fumble around to get all necessary documentation without any offer of help. It was certainly not a friendly welcoming to the venue at all. Being at Moana Hall quite honestly made me feel on edge, trying to make sure I was doing the right thing in fear of being told off by staff members. I only realized the extent of how bad the service was here when I attended several other venues the night after and was only met with friendly, happy staff who asked for all the same necessary documentation but in a much more courteous, less forceful and demanding manner. The negative and authoritative vibe here was just unnecessary and it is clear this ended up causing a great divide between the patrons and hosts. Such a shame as it didn’t have to be that way. As I said before, I’m sure enforcing these rules aren’t easy, but neither is being a friendly and courteous host…

I Would like to thank Cheyne and his staff for the exceptional customer service and attending to my every need! The drinks were spot on, food was on point! Overall, Great people and amazing venue!
