Review Mad Kitchen - Perth

The sushi was great, the service was horrendous.

Delicious Sushi.... Always Freshly made & well presented... The prices are extremely reasonable, quite cheap really, considering just how busy MAD KITCHEN can become during rush hour... The Sushi is really delicious though, one of the best places in the Perth CBD...!!! I have no hesitation in saying that & there are a lot of shops that sell Sushi.... The staff are always polite & friendly, although they don't interact with the customers personally... Can't fault the food...!!

I really enjoyed the meal from the little Mad Kitchen ouletat Prth Station. The girls were very polite and helpful even though it was busy as it was a Sunday and the Fun Run was on. The food was fresh and tasty...I 'll be going there again! Lovely and quick place to grab sushi, so many choices to tray. Love the wasabi tuna, chicken karaAge and seaweed roll. everyday addiction!

I'm so disappointed about this place. One of the staff was very rude to me and my wife just because we asked about a promotion they had displayed in a board which says "buy three sushi handrolls and get one bottle of mount Franklin water for free". We bought three and she never gave us the bottle, and honestly I didn't realize about it until my wife told me and that's why We decided to ask her but this Asian girl got bitter suddenly and was so so impolite. There are more places better than this one to buy sushi around it, with nice staff. I won't go there again in my life. And the worst thing is We requested to speak to the manager and according to her,she was the manager!!!!. We couldn't believe it. We would like to know what owners thinks about it, we bet they have no idea how she treats customers. Don't go there! Actually sushi is not so special. 0 points!!!

got 4 avocado sushi rolls freshly made for $10 ( i think up to an hour before they close otherwise 3 for $10). Was the best avocado sushi I ever had. Am learning to make it at home!

STAFFS need to be trained customer services She is extremely rude attitude who is working this time 5.10pm now. I do not recommend to have a look their sushi You must buy!Otherwise, she changed facial expression and didn’t say anything to you.

The 'seared salmon' large pack (8 or 10 pieces) is so freaking delicious, bought it last night when they had end of day 30% off, just $10 and so yummy I didn't want it to end. Good end of day prices.

Average tasting sushi. Good if you’re after a quick lunch. Only had the avocado and chicken roll. Something different about the way the rice was prepared. Maybe I’m used to it a certain way.

Great location at just next to the train station allowing last minute option for a quick sushi! Plenty decent average selection, nothing too fancy but still pricey (probably due to its strategic location). I usually grab one roll on the way when I feel like munching.

The sushi rolls as always so tasty and fresh here and I think it is a better choice than other similar places for a quick sushi roll such as Is Donburi on William St.

I have an unswerving (but completely unfounded) conviction that food from cafes at train stations is to be avoided at all costs - no matter what's on display I very unfairly picture greasy chips and stale pre-made sandwiches.

But Mad Kitchen caught my eye as I was crossing the Perth Train Station concourse, starving hungry and needing something I could eat on the run...and it blew my theory out of the water. It's not the best sushi or katsu chicken I've ever had, but the place was spotlessly clean, the service cheerful and the food good value. It hit the spot...and not a greasy chip in sight!
