The food was exceptionally tasty and fresh. Quantity was just right. We had the silver banquet and had a great variety of food to taste. The owner was friendly and informative. Thoroughly recommend trying it out.
Would highly recommend this place. Got the hummus, tabouli and mixed grill and everything was just what I was expecting. The meat in the mixed grill was a stand out as it came out piping hot and everything was succulent and seasoned well. Friendly service and reasonably priced. The owners/chefs definitely know what they are doing and I will be back.
Great menu with flavours more hit than miss. The bread leaves something to be desired. Felafels are good and come with pickles and a lovely tahini sauce.
The first time I went, feedback was sought: we said it was too cold, and it's never been cold again. On Saturday nights the belly-dancer performs. She is not precious about her dancing and enjoys applause and audience participation if it is offered.
The service is formal, I like it. I'd like to go there for breakfast.
..the Lamb Fatteh $25 – marinated lamb casserole, with crispy lebanese bread. spiced rice, garlic, mint, yogurt and tahini suace topped with pine nuts. …or the similar Chicken Fatteh $25 (but the lamb is probably the best if you’re only choosing one). I also really like the dry texture of the falafel $10 for 4 pieces served with tahini sauce, pickles and tomatoes.

Recently opened last year, Petra Palace is a relative new comer to Canberra world cuisine dining, but one well worth seeking out as the food is simply delicious!. Tucked away in Colbee Court Phillip, like many of Canberra’s suburban gems, it offers easy at the door parking and good value prices.
This is my favourite Canberra restaurant, and no, I don't know the owners. Comfortable, generous and friendly, timely service, easy parking.
We usually order a few mezza (small dishes) to share. I like their Petra Eggplant Dip (mutabal), fried kibbeh, and the music. My kid likes the hommous and felafels, if not the "chicken nuggets" (in reality, mildly spiced breast strips).
Tonight we enjoyed the Ramadan Iftar buffet which included some traditional dishes and drinks we'd never tried before. The chef was on hand to answer any questions; he seemed proud of his work, and deservingly so.
This is by far the best Lebanese food in Canberra. The food is cooked like a traditional Lebanese mother or father would, it is fresh and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend it!
The best Lebanese food in town. Pita is fresh hot and crispy, really tasty kofta in generous portions. Good varieties from mezze menu and hummus dipping is second to none
Had the vegan banquet with 13 other vegan colleagues. Food was amazing; so much variety, so delicious and unusually generous servings. Vegan heaven for sure 😊
The best Lebanese Dishes in Canberra. Clean, healthy, & best taste.
