Sanctuary lakes Charcoal Chicken shop is one of my wife and my favourite takeaway Chicken dinners. We order the half chicken and chips (extra salt on the chips), is just awesome. My wife also has 1/4 Chicken greek salad. 😋, then we also alternate between the totally delicious Chicken parma and chips. There is also a Portuguese style Chicken with chilli or lemon basting. There guys just Cook the best Chickens over hot coals. The staff are friendly and patient when people who take while to decide on their order. I highly recommend if you have not already tried to maybe give it a go. I think you will love the quality of food.

My Greek salad was basically tomato's and cucumbers, no olives, no onions and absolutely no feta! Is that even a Greek Salad then? Did you deliberately scoop the tomatoes and cucumbers because that tray was chocka full of feta and olives???... #stingey much? Really disappointed and won't be going back there again

Going downhill… fast! Long-time -- and used to be a very happy -- customer. Their prices have recently gone up. Fair enough. But lately, their half-chicken and chips boxes contain LESS THAN ONE THIRD of the chips they used to put in the box. VERY disappointing. With GAMI Chicken and Beer having recently opened just 100m away, I would have thought they’d want to put in the extra effort and impress - not demoralise – their existing customers. Tried to reach out to them via their website… but received zero response. Clearly don’t give a stuff about their customers, either. Don't really understand their logic: now charging more and providing (a significant amount) less. Save your money and walk 100 metres across the car park to GAMI, instead.

Did not see them using gloves while handling the food. Also I don't think that the nearly cooked chickens should be under the newly put chickens since they can drop on top of cooked ones and contaminate them. Chips are way too salty, as if they are put to bath in salt. Hope OP makes it more presentable in future.

Not sure what happened maybe you guys were overwhelmed today with orders ended up getting a really small piece of chicken with the $14 deal and the pasta didn’t taste great the chips were good.

Honestly, it was kind of disappointing. Chicken was juicy but the skin only tasted of charcoal - I know its charcoal chicken but it still should have some sort of flavour. Chips were OK but a bit soggy. Potato salad was not to my taste at all, super acidic.

This is hands down the best charcoal chicken I’ve been to in Melbourne. They offer chilli flavour that is unique and tasty. Chips are golden and flavoured with good amount of chicken salt. Salads are decent and well portioned. I share a combo 2 between two people and it’s just such a satisfying meal.

Something has changed with this charcoal chicken eatery. A year ago it was crunchy chips with lots of delicious chip seasoning and juicy chicken. I bought a family pack today , chicken was dry , chips were dry from being too overcooked and the chicken salt was missing even though I reminded the server I wanted chips seasoning , coleslaw was drenched in dressing. It was a shame because I had told my lunch guests I had remembered this chicken takeaway was fantastic a year ago when I last ordered. Hope the food improves. Service was fine though.

Best charcoal chicken ever, so juicy and tender and full of flavor. Would be good if they can change the packaging for chips though. There were a few times when the Styrofoam container melted a bit because of the hot chips.

I am a big fan of roasted chicken, and I loved what I got at this place. The Spicy version was out of stock, so I went with the lemon and herb, and omg it was delicious! It was juicy and full of taste, which makes me crave for the spicy version now! 😐 The menu offers a decent variety, which is why I was tempted towards garlic chicken balls, and it turned out to be interesting. I, however, wasn’t impressed with the fries. The service is quick and hassle free.

I was rather sad when the Smokey Den closed down at Point Cook Town Centre and took up a reduced menu in the SLCC. Finally getting along a few weeks back and ordering the chilli burger which is what I used to get at the old den, it still had the great tasting taste and blend to it. This is the go to Charchoal chicken in the area. They were adverting a app in the store to pre order, but couldn't find it on the app store. Yes from me.

The chicken is 100% perfect. When ever I order food it's always fresh and delicious. I mostly love the crispy chips. Their fillet burgers are so yummy and fresh that I would love to have it everyday if I could.

I'm still loving this place perfect chicken skin yum get a fresh one straight from skewer the gravy still a bit bland I tried the chilli chicken was ok but a bit spicy really other than that I heard these guys are opening a shop where hair house warehouse was in point cook I can't wait

The best charcoal chicken, it's nice and crispy, not soggy like some other charcoal chickens the stuffing is great, chips are beautiful and crunchy and the chicken salt on them is fantastic. The burgers are also fantastic and ultra big. Will never go anywhere else. Oh you have to get the garlic sauce, yummo!!!!!!

It's good...enough said. Good portions - especially the chips. Medium chips is more than enough for two. I thought the gravy was good. Chicken was particularly yummy.

I totaly agree the gravy is bad The chicken is usualy 98% of the time Perfect change the gravy and i give this chicken chips and gravy 100% i would drive 40kms to buy this

Best chicken in Point Cook. Owners are lovely and staff very helpful. Place is always busy because its so good! Spicy Chicken is to die for! Will definitely be back!

This charcoal chicken is what other charcoal chicken shops strive to be. The staff are ultra friendly and efficient. The chicken is always cooked to perfection and there is a conspiracy to fatten up all of the sanctuary lakes and point cook residents by supplying an abundance of chips that only the gods could strive to finish. The prices are not too bad, factoring in the portion size though the value is exceptional. I would swim across an ocean and crawl over razer blades just to lick the fingers of the last person to eat from here. Highly recommended.
