My new favourite dining place out north !! Food , service , price all outstanding . This tiny unassuming place tucked away on main north road opens to a very welcoming beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff . And my favourite bit ? ... their new vegan menu is awesome , so many varieties. Congrats to the wonderful owners and staff .
I went there for lunch.i ordered for crispy chicken in blackbean sauce with steam rice for 10.50bucks.
Full marks for the food,taste and portioning!!
Much better than other chinese restaurants.
We have been there around 30 times and everytime we have had an amazing experience. I highly recommended quan ngon duw to their friendly staff good atmosphere and delicious food

Not much to look at from the road, but to dismiss Quan Ngon from outside looks would be a mistake. An inviting interior with private booths and longer open tables awaits. A surprisingly wide selection of wines proudly displayed is an exception to the norm.
On my visit I was warmly attended to by staff. Quick service and a menu that covered most bases as you'd expect in a suburban Viet Chinese restaurant.
Salt and pepper squid was done very well. A slightly heavier batter than I expected initially, which I couldn't care less about digging in, as the squid was cooked to perfection. Just enough seasoning and a nice little chili kick with terrific crunch.
Bun with grilled pork balls wasn't bad either. Dressing sauce could use a little more kick and I would have preferred more herbs. The pork balls were on point. At $14 a serve there are better things in life to whinge about.
Avo smoothie was fine.
Everything was well presented. Sizes were good and so were the prices. Parking isn't great. Definitely visit again to check out the soups and more of what they offer. Worth a look if you haven't been before.
Quan Ngon is my absolute favourite! Great food, great price and great staff.
I live close by and visit and get takeaway often. My friends know when they're in Pooraka that Quan Ngon is our go to place!
Visited for the first time tonight for dinner and was very pleased. The food was great and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back.
Pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious, service excellent and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Looking forward to trying more of the extensive menu
Casual Diner. The best salt and pepper soft shell crab I have ever tasted. I brought friends who are normally hard to please, but they enjoyed every dish. Service for drinks is a little slow.
Good Vietnamese Restaurant. Got all the Vietnamese soup, broken rice and wide range of chinese food. Good Service and good food.

Nice place to grow up in. As a chef and chef trainer some people have a dire need to bag anything other than what (they) think a family restaurant should be, Me i love this place always different, but one thing remains the same what a lovely family, its like eating at home so welcoming, if you wish good wholesome family friendly food then go no further, go on give them a hug and enjoy, but remember relax, enjoy the company that you have and some lovely food and a smile to go with it, duck pot curry is the best.
