I don't Usually write reviews but recently honeymooning I thought I needed to let people know how good this place actually is, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was amazing, I love my Chinese and rate this place as the best venue for some delicious Chinese Cuisine �10/10 #jadeinnthebest

Ever excellent Chinese restaurant situated in the heart of Macrossan Street. We've been coming here for several years and the standard has never faltered. Great range of international beers and wines. Service is friendly, attentive and efficient. As with anywhere in Port Douglas, depending on the time of year, it can be a good idea to book but more than once we've got lucky in getting a table even without a booking. Sweet and sour chicken is my favourite: lightly battered, perfect balanced flavour with just a touch of ginger shining through. Highly recommended!
This Chinese restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations.. even though they were under staffed, the staff was still so friendly and surprisingly attentive to their customers needs. They were full of energy and full of positivity in their service.
The food was also awesome with nothing to fault.. we had the fried rice, sweet and sour pork and beef chow mein.. everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly, just as I would expect in a high quality Chinese restaurant.
If there’s one restaurant you visit in Port Douglas, it’s the Jade Inn! Absolutely delicious food. Every Chinese restaurant I visit (which has been a lot) I always order chicken sweet corn soup and chicken black bean and I can tell you this is the best I’ve ever had in Australia. Tastes like how my grandmother used to make them. Amazing!

Went to Jade Inn twice while in Port Douglas, both times meals were great. Jess was the most fantastic front of house staff member. Even though they were short of staff thoroughly recommend. Wise to make a booking.

Everyone said no point trying to get in anywhere at Port Douglas if you don’t have a booking. We rocked up to Jade Inn on Saturday night in the middle of PD’s peak season and advised that we were flexible and happy to go for a walk and come back later if they could squeeze us in. Rather than take the easy option and say they were booked out they had a good look at what reservations they had and where there may be an opportunity to accomodate us. The manager advised if we came back in 45 minutes there would be a table for us which there was. The food was amazing, the service fantastic and I thought it was good value for money. The restaurant was spotless and tastefully decorated. This is not a cheap and nasty “Chinese Kitchen”. It is a really nice place for a nice dinner or special occasion. Special call out to our waitress Jess. She could not have done more to make sure we were comfortable and happy and was extremely friendly and pleasant. Highly recommend Jade Inn and will definitely be back!

We ate dinner here during the week. The lady who served us was super lovely and the food was delicious! As our first dining experience in Port Douglas it really set the standard for our stay.
